  1. Its scary but you guys are right, I had no intention of building a clone sigfig of Hinck, just decided to play around with a Forestman a little. Pure genius. And yes I am about twice the height of Hinck
  2. but just as he began stepping on the cranberries he stepped on a large nail
  3. Well met Asuka! Perhaps we could start afresh with a Bowl of Cheeries and see where that gets us? Let the madness begin
  4. Lucky duck! Im saving for mine as I speak, and there is always the hope DJ's may get it in and discount it before Chrissy. Then you could get a second
  5. Ha Ha filthy harlot I don't mind being Hinckley's clone so much, something to do with a similar haircut and my name....
  6. Happy Birthday to all four of you oldies hope you had a great day with lots of bricky goodness. Its not often we would have quadruplets on here
  7. Pays to shop around Same, I may be swayed by it though.
  8. Happy Birthday Asuka! I would like to say something as profound as you often do but I couldn't measure up, so here are some Origami pictures to enjoy. The second pic is a link to the full instrcutions
  9. Its so nice to see you building something monumental again Norro! I love the snow technique! Its such a beautifully captured moment in time as the vikings struggle with the elements. I the new curved tower/beacon design and the internal rocks look amazing. Oh to have your amount of bricks Cheers
  10. This is very nice TPRU. I had thought it would look even better with a digital background and I scroll down to see IS had done it before I could suggest it. Magnificent. Cheers on a great scene.
  11. Nice work WBD. I can see some ideas that would fit in nicely. Shipwright down near the docks, Ratcatcher, Bowyer, Bricklayer, Cartographer, Fortune Teller, Furrier, Gravedigger, Hunter, Storyteller, and loads more. Excellent. I will place the full list of the occupations we haven't already listed in the first post, and link in the second post to the article. Cheers
  12. Cheers Big Ears! Expect some word on the Competition shortly. Sir Dillon has been instrumental in getting it off the ground.
  13. Not yet, just lots of BL orders over the last year Im saving for it now, just ahve to sell our house and move to a bigger one first though. Need a bigger toy room
  14. Great Vege patch, I certainly don't have all those bright 1 x 1 pieces to make one this cool. Great story as well, and the stocks are fantastic for the thief too. Well done, and please submit lots more to continue to make this community great. Same for all team members
  15. Great work on the Vegetable patch WBD, looks like someone has 10193? WIP please, though I will understand if you don't want to ruin the surprise Well its about time then, nice of you to noice us after all this time Good stuff, Dragonator is making the Main entrance to the whole Castle, not a little gatehouse. His entry is 64 x 32, with a lot of BL orders. Thanks Teddy, we appreciate you dropping in and giving us ideas etc. Well Jerry Man and Waterbrick Down are fine additions to Alpha, they are submitting a few all at once for you guys, and the Kitchen was fantastic, so its not over yet.
  16. Well done Mariann! This is a faithful recreation of the Afro-American Cultural Center. 2+ 1/2 is a quick turn around time for a project of this magnitude, good thing it will put food on the table for you I look forward to future constructions. benny, when you quote some one else its a good idea to delete the pictures from the other persons post
  17. A very nice creation you have there. I like the Baker rolling the dough Keep up the good MOCing
  18. I really enjoyed looking at all the boats for sale, nice work of the new baseplate as well. Hmmm, I do need a new row boat, off to Big Al's then
  19. These are all awesome creations, but Grievous is my favourite Truly creations worthy of frontpaging too. Well done
  20. I dont mind the odd rant now and then, but when it just becomes a constant whinge it becomes just another post I don't bother to read. As KimT and others have said before me it is an expensive hobby. If you can't afford all the sets you want then choose wisely or budget accordingly and wait for sales. (like I do) If its a set you can't live without, you will find a way to purchase it. TLC is a global company that has costs to pay to produce sets/pay staff/ and make a profit on top of all that/and compete in many markets for a market share. Based on this and other factors I am not privy to they arrive upon a recommended retail price. Deal with it how you choose. Cheers
  21. You and your awesome reviews always making me want to buy more sets! Great work on the photos and content. The dark tan and red-brown parts are nice and may sway me to buy this set, may I send you the bill All up a nice, sleek, great looking set. Thanks
  22. Thanks guys! I was pleased how the internal wall turned out, even if it is eight wide, its kind of like an observation deck over different districts all at once. Next up, I'm going to try a orc or skeleton embassy, might be a couple of days though. Thanks 3D, I was thinking about using the ribs for some purpose.
  23. Im fond of 'keeping there bricks to themselves' You make a good point about whining, lets enjoy the fact TLC is making/continuing the Castle theme for a while longer. Otherwise we will be in a Medieval Dark Age again
  24. Thanks mate, its my favourite MOC at the moment, just came together so well. If I could recommend a parts set its def the Sandcrawler! I chose to put an end wall on my module to close off the walls, that way no ugly interior sections, though I'm not 100% happy with the wall. I think it needs something to make it look less boxy.
  25. Nice work Newright, I love the lime green, and the floor tiles. The dummies are cool too. G5 Gatehouse Module And of course all my modules together This image shows back to back modules, but I forgot to resize it Ooops album link and Flickr
