Hi Huntleyfx, welcome aboard, do you know what you would like to build first?, and are you entering the competition? Cheers -
Aussie sales! Share the news of LOCAL sales!
I Scream Clone replied to Darth_Legois's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Let me get this through my thick head. Your saying that: 1. the figs separate from the base 2. the base is the magnet 3. the figs are posable and identical in everyway to the ones in sets. I guess for me its a cheap way to get figs that I wouldn't normally buy in the larger sets. Plus I don't have a slave leia yet Cheers natelite -
The Community Castle Build Contest
I Scream Clone replied to Sir Dillon's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks again Thrash for the banners, I will change mine now hehe Well the whole idea was to get everyone on the same size for the contest, though I guess I could mention it to Dillon. I do have a spare Impulse set I could throw in. I know its not a huge prize pool, but its about all the cash I have as we are moving house at the moment Looks like you pay as much attention to rules as I do when I enter contests As Thrash said, 2 Knight and 1 Orc impulse are up for grabs for the three best entries. Remember you can submit two entries each, so you could theoretically get two prizes -

I remember reading on the PAB page that they would ship parts separate to sets if they weren't available then and there, so perhaps they split orders too. Whats the deal with the new SW Magnet sets? are the figures the same as the ones in sets and are they removable from the bases? If they are removable they make fine BPs. -

The Community Castle Build Contest
I Scream Clone replied to Sir Dillon's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Alright, the comp is off and running so get building one and all and once submissions are made you will join a team. Well no digital entries allowed as all previous creations are made IRL, so seems unfair to all the previous builders who had limitations on their collections yet were able to contribute great creations nonetheless. Either, as mentioned in the rules, choose from the list or make your own as long as it is Castle themed. -
TUTORIAL: Decal application
I Scream Clone replied to Hinckley's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Well done on a great tutorial Hinckley Having never tried using decals this is a great way to see all the effort that goes into customizing minifigs. Maybe now I will give it a go one day. -
Wow, he is sicker than we thought. Delirious even. Here is a link to show you how to post your pics Good luck

I got it, and I rate it a good set, not a great set. The fighter is nice and the figs too, the booster is just a lot of technic and plates. A quick look on eBay shows its going for over $50 US so maybe TRU is the way to go.

Craghold Castle, a lengthy MOC (>1 year off/on)
I Scream Clone replied to brickzone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well done! You have undertaken a massive task in making this unique and thoroughly enjoyable Castle. The sheer playability rewards extra viewing and the height of it is astounding. It certainly has a Lego feel to it as opposed to other large creations. Though I am not a fan of the large Burp and Wall pieces, I quickly moved past it to revel in the beauty beneath. The highlight for me is something so simple, but well done, the chicken on a spit, just brilliant -

I love all the details on this MOC Guardpost. The little room with bed is great. The bonsai apple tree is cool. All signs point to a happy owner of 10193 I think Now I am even more jealous of people who own this set . But don't sweat it, It shall be mine soon Looking forward to more cool modules, you can always use 16 x 32 plates as well. -

I build a lot of my stuff on 16 x 32 plates. You can always build two modules per time. -
That's a big Happy Birthday from me too KimT and Bobskink. May the overlord of bricks deem you both worthy of many Lego sets. Hope work doesn't ruin your day

Hey Etzel. This is lovely work. Welcome on board. You are in Team Beta and may post five images in the Beta Thread I love the tree. This will fit nicely on the list as C16. Which I was thinking of building myself . Thats cool, I will get over it. Can we tempt you into more modules? Cheers ISC -
A very nice MOC Brickster! I love the SNOT, the water basin, the breakaway wall, wall features and the characters look great. Well done.

I Scream Clone replied to Dennimator's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Just FYI Dennimator. Mine is made of a Forestman Hat (red plume) and green legs. Owen Lars Torso and smiley face from Castle line. Perhaps you should post everyones sigfig pics in the first post to help everyone know what you are after -
Another clever contribution to your growing SWCastle world. Well done

Thanks, I think the dead burn't tree worked out well. Great thumbnail too, cheers. Nothing wrong with admiring your Tavern as it was a massive build. The rib cage was a great idea, had to give it a try. I assume you mean this particular picture Think of it as an unholy alliance, creating new recruits for the Skeleton army or perhaps a medieval solarium for Skellies -
Thats hot, I'm off to make my own. Bravo and the buzz droid is nice too. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Hi all, I now present my Skeleton Embassy. More pics in Beta Thread The quiet nature around here leads me to believe that you are all saving yourselves for the competition -

I Scream Clone replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I present my Skeleton Embassy. I was thinking it appropriate that Skellies would sleep in open graves and decided to include a dragon skeleton as the roofing, though it isn't water proof, skellies don't seem to mind. This is kind of like an Embassy meets Graveyard. Better shot of the Dragon skeleton, sans wings. Worshipping around the flaming bat tree Bonus: This was meant to be the entrance to the Embassy, but would have been ridiculously high as well as taking up too much of the base plate. I wanted to share anyway as I reckon it looks sweet. BShelf Flickr The Comp is almost here btw.... -
The Vacuum wasn't able to handle the return of the cheeries, now in bubblegum form. Guess you need a new Hoover after all?!

Penguin's Yellow Duck vs Robin's Speedboat
I Scream Clone replied to Righteous Squid's topic in LEGO Licensed
A very nice story and excellent creations! The car has nice lines, whilst the duck is pure win! The speedboat cuts a fast figure through the water. Its allround from me. -
However we were unable to play Lego Star Wars due to a fire at the local substation. Does this mean the Cheeries will once again rise up?
