  1. The Ice Man drinketh! The Lego brick cubes look great as do the hearts and butterflies. I really feel like a Kahlua now. Guilt free brick sucking on!
  2. Yer I know, its just funnier my way This should be a blast to see plastered all over the Lego sites.
  3. They only come out in July if TLC already has them on sale. Since TLC wont have the Summer wave of sets till August, we will probably have to wait a lot longer than that, probably closer to Christmas would be my guess.
  4. Ok people lets cool the insults down here. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, insulting other people is not the way to get your point of view across On topic, this is a series I have personally been looking forward to, just to see how "dark and gritty" Lucas is going to go.
  5. Its great to see all the varied responses. Looks like others will be able to find this easier now, as it is a pinned topic for the time being. I might just add that the beautiful banners and skins designed by Hinckley and Brickminer made this the most eyecatching site as well. This is important to me as Lego is a visual hobby after all. Cheers ISC
  6. Geez Dano, you wont send your fig, but you are quite happy for him to make three just for you Count me in mate. Since I can't make it in person sig will have to do.... Here is a pic too, snakes are optional Forestmen hat and legs, Owen Lars torso (though it probably has been used elsewhere) and the smirk face
  7. Its easier to type a number than a full set name. I have noticed a lot of people have adopted this. It took me a long time to figure out what TRU stood for, so don't feel bad. People assume that others will know what they mean, doesn't always translate though. Still I hope I have answered your question. Now my work here is done. What do you mean? You didn't do anything! Didn't I?!
  8. Ahhhh, 7679 is what I mean't. TRU= Toys R Us
  9. Well, unless it is set as a TRU exclusive, it depends which shop chain wants to bid/stock for the set. 7979 was supposed to be an exclusive in US but its everywhere here. So time will tell.
  10. Just a little below the Star Wars index is the Minifig Customisation Index. This should get you started. Try these links SW Decals Tutorials and Indexes Cheers
  11. Thanks guys! Here is a sweet photoshopped pic from Cpt Pegleg Blockbeard. Cheers
  12. Thanks Batbrick, The rocks are a little bricky here and there, but there are only so many slopes in my collection (though I always order more whenever I do a BL order ) The main focus of the MOC was everything going on around the rocks themselves, though I am always looking to improve my rocks, so thanks for the criticism. Yes I noticed the double posting, thanks. You are definitely right about being able to achieve more with a bigger brick collection. Sadly this will probably be it for MOCs till May, as I am in the process of moving house, so its all gotta be packed up soon. I did have to buy the Trans blue bricks, the clear plates were a gift, from PAB. Thanks mania3 for the nice words
  13. [Off topic: ....and with such a smooth response, KimT rode of into the SW sunset, his work here is done folks. Nothing to see here resume normal scheduled programming. End off topic.]
  14. Yes, sadly a Sandcrawler did die for this creation, but well worth it IMHO. I was intending on including a Rock Monster climbing out of the refuse pile of rocks but ran out of room (and bricks) Thanks mate, I agonised over the roller construction for some time before hitting on a winning idea which I will definitely be using again And yes I did post on BH as well, got to share the love after all. I have also noticed the text fonts and colours don't work there too. Thanks Jim, There was thought of a domicile for the Dwarves, but alas room was again the issue. Thanks WF, I'm glad you all approve, It was a labour of love.
  15. Subterranean Shenanigans: A Dwarven Mine MOC First of all I tip my hat to some of the great builders who have inspired me to create this. Sly Owl, Mister oo7, and DNL They have been instrumental in taking my building from this to what you see before you... Brickshelf when moderated. Flickr This was a blast to build, and took me a long time to get the details right, I hope you enjoy. Photoshopped thanks to Cpt Pegleg Blockbeard Thanks for taking the time to look. Cheers ISC
  16. I found EB through FBTB, where there were heated discussions on "respecting the brick". This prompted me to head to Eurobricks on the mention of other FBTB members, and very quickly found a home. Riddler, I hope you don't mind me fixing the title to make it a little clearer, as I think a great topic like this needs all the attention it can get. Cheers
  17. Sorry svelte, but only a silver star for this contribution! See this post from about 2 days before Does anyone know if the restock of Dwarven Mine and King's Castle Siege, may translate into them hitting Aussie shops? I personally doubt it, so may just have to buy them off S@H. Damn, I really much prefer no shipping and 20% off retail any day
  18. You have created a very nice Vignette kobe! Well done.
  19. Also 50% off in Australia, though it doesn't really have a lot of nice parts or much going for it in my opinion.
  20. I think hinging would be the best way to go. Here is the roughest of front on Pics You could alternatively angle the plates outwards as well. It may look hopeless, but I thought it might enhance the hovering nature of the vehicle.
  21. Hi Jim, I love what you have created, however I would like to see you try placing the dark green angled plates underneath the base angled about 45 degrees, this might make for a sleek hover type look. Its up to you, as its still a great creation. Cheers
  22. Wow, so you are telling me this is built out of only pieces from the AT-TE? You have done a great job. May I suggest, taking some pics as you dismantle it, this will give you some rough instructions for keen members to have a crack at! (like me , I imagine KimT would be keen on some pics for indexing purposes too) Anyway, great work on a very realistic Venator.
  23. I was wondering when someone else would try this, and that person is now on a break I will keep my eyes on this, and possibly have a crack somewhere down the track (once I finish moving house). Though with an awesome crew already signing up, and Thrash working on the Map, Im sure this will prove a success. Good luck all and remember to have fun sharing the community spirit EDIT: One thing I am still confused about, Is this bricks only or are digital entries allowed? I notice a few people opting for digital creations. Cheers
  24. When I saw Vorlon, i hoped it would be a Babylon 5 MOC like this http://www.shipschematics.net/b5/images/vo...iser_vorlon.jpg http://www.isnnews.net/hyperspace/vorl/vorlmoth_lg3.jpg However you have created a sleek space ship, well done
  25. Thanks for all the help guys and gal. Computerbug, anytime you see a members name it is usually a link to their profile as well. You could always PM the member to find out why they have added you as well. Cheers Sheesh, what a rules-monger You must really want to be a Moderator hey Careful what you wish for......
