DJ's half yearly clearance sales start tonight for card holders and tomorrow for the plebs Whilst they didn't specifically mention Lego, they did say that a large range of Toys including blah blah blah will be marked down 30-50% off. Could be worth a look, if I see anything I will report back.

Well my legs are working fine. So those who can't walk but have the strength to use the handcar should go first and us able bodied people will walk along the tracks making the return trips shorter. So Herman and Austin should probably go first in my opinion. The other option is to make use of my "guns" making several trips a lot quicker!

I don't understand how they come up with their prices. A look at a lot of 100 US sets shows some at $149 Aus and others like Brickbeards Bounty $139 Aus! The Spongebob Krusty Krab set is double US $20-$40, same for the Hyena droid bomber. End rant price discussion. I like the look of the Space Police sets this summer very nice colours and figures, I look forward to getting some when the sales are on though.

Sounds like we have searched enough to find the johnson rod, some moonshine and a handcar (as well as a myriad of injuries) So what say we give this handcar a try? Or would it be better to travel at night?

There is a lot of nice work in this massive MOC, Bravo! Highlights of mine are the detailing on the Mansion and the boathouse. If I were to suggest any improvements its to jazz up the roofing a little, but otherwise you have captured the look nicely.
