  1. Skeletons are not that cool, they have become over-used in Lego sets in recent years, in my opinion. At least probably our moderator White Fang is happy, I think that he loves the old Ninja sets, so he's probably waiting for 2011 to come.
  2. I have to say I really like this MOC. I agree about the flag though, at the very least you should have used red and white as colours. I'm very interested in WWII, do you have more MOCs on this theme?
  3. I had a look at the 2011 NINJAGO sets and I don't like em at all. THe only one I like is the Skeleton motorcycle, this skeleton rocker look kinda funny and cool! Also, the idea with these game cards is stupid, but I guess LEGO will make lots of money - little kids love to collects these cards, I guess. Also, the new arms of the skeletons seem stupid to me. The sets are nothing special, the design of the structures too, it's more of a wall that a house or a fortress, sorry! So, why is it Ninjas versus skeletons? Why not Ninjas versus Samurais or other ninjas?
  4. OK, so be it, I don't own these sets. In any case, the Egyptian stuff in them was simply a part of the scenery, that's my point. And here it's taken to another level - a fighting faction with its weapons and a hierarchy, which is cool!
  5. How sad! I mean, really - Castle has always been my favourite theme! And Pirates too. As for the new Pharaoh's Quest, I noticed that you here discuss whether there will be a second wave, or we'll only get these 6 sets and that's it, which will be stupid! I hate LEGO's policy these days - to have tons of different themes with a small ammount of sets in them. It was the other way around in the 80's and 90's... Anyway, probably if the first 6 sets sell well, we'll see more. I really like the Scorpio Pyramid, the biggest set, how much will it cost? It's big, but it has a baseplate, so the actual number of pieces will be low. I really like the Lego Anubis minifigs! They look great! Also, many parts from the Pharaoh's Quest will be great for creating a World War Two army - tha trucks, the halftrack is great! You could easily turn the halftrack into a small tank! The plane is usefull too. So, probably I'll buy some of these sets, especially the biggest one. I expect it to be a bit cheaper because of the baseplate which will reduce the actual number of bricks you get. With my girlfriend (who also liked the new sets) we also had a look at the older Lego Desert sets with mummies and Egyptian stuff - the 2011 are much better, they are also going in a different direction I prefer - to have 2 factions fighting each other - the modern day explorers and the Ancien Egypt soldiers and gods. While the older sets had no real conflict in them, just some archeologists and mummies here and there. Long post, hope that someone will read it.
  6. SOme of those minifigs are great, others - I don't like and there are some that simply woudn't fit my Lego collection, that's why I don't buy them. Actually, so far I've bought only one - the Forestman. Because I have the old Forestmen sets.
  7. I haven't seen the 2011 catalog yet, the scans get removed! If you know a link, please PM me!
  8. I like it, it's more of a upgraded version than a completely new website, but it's still good.
  9. Here's a small MOC my girlfriend has built, she has become more interested in LEGO... Thanks to me, I dare say A nice little dinner scene. In the future, she wants to expand it into a house with another floor and a balcony.
  10. The chandelier is big and a bit strange, I like it. The whole scene is detailed and well made.
  11. Great job, much better than the original set! btw, you did this from the pieces of 2 of the original 7947, right? I would love to have it as a base in my LEGO collection!
  12. Cool! I like a total of 3-4 of them, when will they be available across Europe?
  13. Probably they will create some sort of app for smartphones (Android, Apple iOS?) I have an iPod Touch and would love to have an official LEGO app installed! It's very good to see that LEGO are interested in AFOLs and their opinions. So, no more Bionicle? Let's have a party!
  14. Hehe, that thing with the "Otter" was cool! The Plush Minifigs are cool! I'm from Bulgaria too but we don't cross our paths online much, I'm not very interested in Lego City...
  15. Yes, why not? I'm crazy about WWII and would love some LEGO sets set in 1939-1945, but that will never happen. I mean, what's wrong with violence in toys and computer games? Look at the whole Castle and Pirates themes! They have axes, swords, cannons! Oh, the horror!!
  16. I agree that BrickSet is the best site for this!
  17. For me, without any doubt: Forestmen (Robin Hood) Wolfpack Both are great, their sets too, their story and background in the Castle world too.
  18. Yes, indeed. Very well made MOC, like you I don't have the original LEGO set. The Forestmen are great, I really liked them back then, when I was a kid.
  19. Hehe, indeed. I'm from Bulgaria as well. I've been in Austria (many times - I love this country), Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Belgium, Serbia and Romania. Belgium's the most boring I know we have EB members (and moderators?) from there.
  20. Hello and welcome! You could always start by telling us what are your favourite LEGO lines - City, Castles etc
  21. This fort is simply great! Small, yet detailed and cosy. Looks like a real one! The whole scene is fantastic!!
  22. Thanks for the review! I voted "Average" in the poll. I agree that the tower itself is the best part of the set. But without the stickers! I hate stickers - don't all AFOLS hate them? These should have been printed pieces, not cheap stickers! This leaves a very bad impression! The catapult is a bit too big and crude... Sure, it looks evil and cool, but somehow I don't seem to like it.
  23. Great review, thanks for posting it! The set is great, I bought it from ebay several months ago (with instructions and box!) - the original version, not the "Legends" one. It's a nice build, the design is great from both the outside and the inside of the inn! Great little set, looks cosy and beautiful from all sides (now the latest Lego sets look nice only from the front, but this set here looks great from any side!!) I really love this set!
  24. Yes! After all, the HQ of the Dragon Knights - the Prison Tower, their biggest set after all(!!) is about 3 times smaller then the King's Castle. That's not fair! The biggest castles I have are the 6073 and 6075, 6066, 7079 (though these 3 are smaller, medium constructions). I would love to see a Dragon Knights set the size of 6073.
  25. Thanks a lot! I added their account as a friend and favorited some of the videos. I've never seen these ads, because I'm from Bulgaria and in the 80's it was in the communist block. I had many LEGO sets back then when I was a kid, but I've never seen these video ads before!
