This update? Which update? I've only seen the leaked catalogue + the mummy with the alphabet from the site (which they pulled down afterwards).

Hello and welcome to EuroBricks!
-
I really hope for as less stickers as possible! More printed parts, please!
-
Great to hear that!
-
Hello and welcome, I'm from Bulgaria as well.
-
Great feature! The Castle and Pirates sets are still not included? I hope that you'll put them in too.

Hm, I would feel sad, but at least my LEGO collection will always be with me. As well as the memories. The value would rise, not drop. But it woudn't sky-rocket either. No, I don't. They are doing fine and are on profit. And even if something goes terribly wrong, a bigger player will buy them and the brand will live on.

2011 NINJAGO sets
Nikola Bathory replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I was so happy when they stopped Bionicle, but now they have this Hero Factory nonsense. For me, this is not LEGO. Call me a purist or something else if you wish, but Lego = System. -
Peppermint, that's a cool little scene with these guys training! Oh, this guy is crazy He got so many of them!!

If you had to collect it all over again...
Nikola Bathory replied to David Thomsen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That's a very interesting question. The biggest part of my collection was bought by my parents when I was a kid. Most sets are from the 80's and some from the 90's. I buy some sets myself these days. I really love the older sets... To answer your question - Yes, if something bad happens, I will try to collect again these sets. Nostalgia is such a freat thing, isn't it? It's a part of my childhood, after all. -
I really like your inn, it's beautiful and detailed! It just has so much going on!!

2011 NINJAGO sets

I have to agree - this minisite is so stupid, these questions "does your mother..." are simply stupid. Probably only 6 or 7 years old could find them cool. -
I love the Bluecoats.

Eating an icecream while driving a bike seems dangerous to me... Anyway, thanks for sharing this scene!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Nikola Bathory replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I really like the elf, it has a cool shield as well! The elf is the only one I like from these. I'll buy 1 or 2 copies. -

Try with Firefox. It's not loading with IE, don't know why. I searched for the exact name of these Egyptian swords they have - it's called khepesh. (Not to be confused with khepresh - the blue crown, also known as war crown).

The Action Theme You Love
Nikola Bathory replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
So far: none But probably that will change with the new Egyptian sets. Isn't Pirates an action theme? -
I guess you've seen the leaked 2011 catalogue, up to April there will be no new Kingdoms sets. I really would like LEGO to continue with the Castle theme, the Dragon knights are so cool!
-
Interesting point, Aachir. I was talking of the times when there were only City, Castle, Space... and that was about it. But they continued through the years and you could end up with a big collection of sets from, let's say, 5 or 6 consecutive years - you don't have this today. But times change. You are right about the Blacktron subtheme, it was very good, yet it had very few sets. The same is even more true for the Wolfpack guys. I agree that there is plenty of action and combat in Castle and Pirates. You know, sometimes the difference between a "historic" and an "action" theme eludes me... Should we make such a distinction at all? For now, I'm really looking forward to the Pharaoh's Quest sets. For me, the Egyptian guys will be the good guys, and the human adventurers - the bad guys who want to rob them. And I really hope for a second wave of sets! I'm getting sick of themes (or subthemes) with only 6 sets - that was my main point. Like Prince of Persia for example (I do understand the reasons for that particular case, though. The movie was a disaster, from a financial point of view, I haven't seen it).
