Nice scene! Wolfpack rules! The poor dwarf stands no chance!

Cool review! I voted Above Average. The ship isn't that great, but as The Cobra pointed out you get 5 minifigs with this set, which is great!

Time for another review of a Castle set from the early 1990's! I love this period! Title: 6009 Black Knight Theme: Castle Subtheme: Black Knights Year Released: 1992 Here is an overview of the entire set: Yes, it's a very small set, but it's useful and is a great way to build your army of knights in heavy armour! Next comes the back of the box: The instructions are pretty simple, there is nothing to build here, save for the little stand for the weapons: With this set, you get a small catalog: Oh, nostalgia! Which ones from these great sets do you own? I am proud to own these: 6075, 6038, 6042 and 6009 (2x). Here is what is in this set: A knight with a great suit of armor and a helmet with lavish decoration, a horse, a cool shield and weapons: 2 swords, a lance and even a crossbow! The crossbow is somewhat unexpected, but it's great to have it. The face of the knight is not the usual generic smile of the past. Close-up: The horse and the equipment: OK, I have 2 lances, I don't know if it was that way originally or I messed something up. A sideview of the cool helmet and it's decoration: And to conclude, the more the better: My scores: Playability: 6/10 - You get only 1 horse and 1 minifig, so you have to combine this set with other sets. But there is always a place for it in your LEGO Castle Kingdom! Design: 10/10 - Great design! Someone may argue that the helmet decoration is a bit too much, but I still like it a lot. As for the shield, it's not the classic design, but a different one... I like both. Overall: 10/10 - A tiny set, great way to build a massive army of knights or just to add some more minifigs to your world. As a child, I loved to play with it, I still think that this is a great set!

Review: 6034 Black Monarch's Ghost
Nikola Bathory replied to Nikola Bathory's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm happy that you've liked my review. Other users here have set very high standarts for what a review should look like. timbutnice - So, you have 10 of this set? Lucky you! -
Some basic information: Set: 6034 Black Monarch's Ghost Theme: Castle Subtheme: Black Knights Year: 1990 This is my second review here, and I noticed that this cool set has never been reviewed on EB, so I hope you like it. First, to show the entire set and the box: As you can see, it's a small set, but it contains some cool stuff. Here are the instructions: There isn't much to build here, the structure is small, but still very nice in my opinion. Now, the back of the box: This is something I really miss nowadays, LEGO used to show 2-3 alternative builds on the back of every box, even on such small sets like this one. They have stopped doing that and it's a real shame. Next, a photo of the set: the small structure, the ghost, the horse and the knight. I love the doors, I think it's the only pair of such doors in my collection. Their colour is great, dark brown. Here is the mighty knight in his armour: This armor is so stylish, such a great design! And the helmet cool, it gives the minifig a menacing look! It really looks like the real thing, I'm sure you know, but just to demonstrate, here a photo I took recently in a museum in Vienna full of Medievil armor suits and weapons: Now, the back of the little tower, where the ghost haunts: This set can be attached to other Castle sets in the usual manner shown here: My scores: Playability: 8/10 - You can have some interaction between the ghost and the knight, but this set is best used together with other Castle sets, where it gives you plenty of options. Design: 10/10 - Simple, straightforward design of the structure, with cool colours - exactly as I like it. Value: 10/10 - A small set, but it comes with a horse, a knight with a great armor, an owl (not shown here) and a ghost. The ghost is made of phosphorus and glows green in the dark! As a child, I loved this (well, I still do). This little set had a special place in my kingdom, I placed it between the 6073 and the 6066 as a kind of neutral territory between the opposing sides. And to conclude, here the evil ghost is attacking the unsuspecting knight: I hope you've enjoyed my review, feel free to post feedback and your thoughts on the set itself. Nikola Bathory

Hey mrts, I just had a look at your brickshelf folder BEFORE reading this thread and I loved your "busted" entry! It's great! Poor wolfpack guy Very detailed! I love it! -
The review is great indeed, but it's far too positive! This set is nothing special, I hate the whole KK, I'm glad I missed it But for the in-depth review with tons of photos and information!

I love this skin! Blue is a great colour.

LEGO community team AFOL survey
Nikola Bathory replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I completed this servey, it's great that LEGO wants to hear the opinion of AFOLs!! Under communities, I put Eurobricks as Number 1, then brickset and brickshelf - I have accounts there too and those sites are great - but you know that. -
Well, get over it. LEGO has never been a cheap toy made in China

I found this on e-bay and it's so damn funny, that I really wanted to share it with you: Keep dragons? Problem with dragon dung?? What better way to get rid of all that unwanted dragon dung than sell it through the '"Ye Olde Dragon Dung Shoppe". Great for fertilising crops, it also keeps cats off your garden! Village peasants cant get enough of the stuff. The MOC itself, which is on sale, is nothing special, but the idea is great and funny! If you have problems with dragon dung in your Castle kingdom, have a look: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lego-Castle-YE-OLDE-...A1%7C240%3A1318

I don't have any Fabuland stuff. This thread needs a lock IMHO.

No. This one is a stupid generic avatar from within the forum gallery. I will have a look at the attachments, but I think that I don't have any other files in there. edit: Great! It works now! I don't know how, but it works, hehe. Feel free to close this topic. -
Hi! I try to upload an avatar pic from my PC, it's within the 100x100 limit, it's not bigger than 5 KB and I still get this error: The total filespace required to upload all the attached files is greater than your per post or global limit. Please reduce the number of attachments or the size of the attachments. Any idea why?

This is cool, but I don't understand the rules. How and where will you post the names of the winners? Here, in this topic?
