Looks interesting, even though the design is amateurish. The forum looks awful! But I guess the contents of that site are better than its design! at least I hope so for its own good! I might join, but I've already registered in 1376343 forums, I have a job, and a girlfriend.... I don't think I have enough time for 1 more forum!

update: this guy wants the equivalent of 90 EUR, which is far too much for me, since I really don't like this set. I was thinking of about 50 EUR max, since I must save money for the Death Star. You know what, a set from the Pirates I really really want to buy is the Eldorado Fortress! I would gladly pay 90 EUR for it, but not for the 6289.

Very good topic My initial idea was to buy the RGS. It looks like a very good set and is 1000 pieces!! But now that the Death Star was announced, I won't buy the RGS, just to save some money for that monster! 3800 pieces and so many great minifigs!!!!! So, I will buy only the Death Star.

OK, a guy is offering to sell his 6289: Red Beard Runner. With instructions. No box. Missing parts? No, but probably some (not a problem for me). But how much should I pay? Any ideas? Also, I don't know if I'm going to buy it at all, because... well, feel free to flame me, but the 6289 looks ugly!! I don't like the sails. Even worse - the colour sheme of this set is... very wierd!! a ship in red, grey and white??? wtf anyway, I'm waiting for your coments.

OMFG!!!! Great set! Death Star 10188 = set of the year!!! A must buy! It looks like I won't buy the Republic gunship (which looks like a very good set btw) to save money for this monster!!!!

I have an idea: the troll ship against an Armada, consisting of: 1752 Boat with Armour 6017 King's Oarsmen 6018 Battle Dragon 6049 Viking Voyager 6057 Sea Serpent - the flotilla's flagship! I think that this will be an interesting battle - those smaler vessels against the Troll ship. The Knights can attack from different directions at the same time :) What do you think?
