I really like that water effect, and I actually like how the trees look, they seem to go with your snow technique. Well done as always!- 38 replies

Thanks guys! I wasnt sure if the dark blue would work with the dark green, but I like how it turned out. I was going for a "scattered moonlight" look; I think it would look better with a darker backgound.

The Vargen are a militaristic tribe of permanent werewolves. They are led by Marrok the Cruel. Marrok was once a man from Avalonia, but he was shunned from society and banished to Nocturnus. Filled with rage, he formed The Vargen to seek revenge. The Vargen live in their den, a vast labyrinth of tunnels and chambers under the highlands in the northern Rakath Mountains. They study and worship the moon, and through their devout studies, they have developed a method to make their werewolf transformations permanent. The Vargen are known for ther savagery, particularly during the full moon. Every full moon three raiding parties are sent out to kidnap one young child from each Avalonia, Mitgardia, and Kaliphlin. These children are converted and trained as werewolves. It is for this reason that The Vargen are one of the most feared and hated tribes in all of historica. Marrok the Cruel still bears the scars from when he was attacked:

The Kazzar are a nomadic tribe of reptilians manily found in the Moruth Swamplands. They are led by Zrrak the Sly, a clever and savy businessman. The Kazzar are known for providing the rest of Nocturnus with Kassava claws. Kassava claws are the claws that grow on the deadly Kassava plant found only in the corrupted wasteland, a small area deep in the Moruth Swamplands. The plant will attack anyone who is not a member of the Kazzar tribe, so they are next to impossible for anyone else to harvest. The claws make excelent weapons as they are sharper than steel and never lose their edge. The Kazzar are avid traders and will regularly travel great distances to sell their wares. They are a relatively peaceful society compared to most in Nocturnus, but they will attack without hesitation if provoked. Zrrak the Sly (middle): My first tribe, thanks for checking them out!

These look great! I love the atmosphere you created, very creepy, but perfect for Nocturnus. Excellent idea and execution, the Drakarkan are a force to be reckoned with!

Twin Ravens Rokkar and Korrak of the Zugal Tribe pledge their forces to Lord Raavage of Nocturnus. The Zugal Tribe is located in the southern Rakath Mountains near the Goolag Archipel. Not Much is known about their ways, but they are feared throughout all of Historica. -
