It's not soft, probably standard ABS.

Yes, but the video is new. If you don't wanna see it, then don't

Check out the Space Police at Lego site, new video: Space Police at Lego.com Strange, it shows the first stop motion video. Try selecting products and click the Space Police sign again .....

Here are the three-eyed freak twins. The print on their torsos are just great. Backside of head feature the same face, without the third eye. Helmets are soft material but fine.
-
Just plain "shiny" black, but I guess that's what you mean.

No, visor is a standard visor in opaque black. Helmet is same as used in e.g. Dino 2010. In that theme they did not put visors on this helmet, but used normal crashhelmet for the guys with the visors. The visor fit the "open helmet" used in Space Police fine though. Front

Thank you for showing the sets, I like the police dog. Snake is cool, but not the best Alien by far. It's hard plastic, probably ABS or PVC. Front
-
And here five aliens, with Snake taking the job of scaring away the crowd. Front

Great to see the Space Police sets reaching stores. This means I don't have to treat my sets as confidential anymore I got the same three sets, plus the 5973 with the two twins. I have built all four sets, and I like the construction of the vehicles, even though some of them are very small. But for me this new theme's high point is the aliens. I haven't had the time to photograph them all, but here's a photo of my favorite, Squidman running away with all your money. Taken with my Canon Mp-E 65 high magnification macro lens. Front btw. check out the white field on the side of 5969, seen further above in this thread.

If you exclude Market Street with it's 3 minifigures that is printed, I think you are right.

I have looked carefully at the pictures too, and yes it looks like stickers on the figure shown, but I'm not sure, it may be a trick of the lightning in the pictures (the picture showing his back). One thing I can tell you though is that there are no stickers on the figures you will see in a box, only printing on both sides of torso.

Air compressor
Front replied to CP5670's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I don't know his level of expertise in building technic, but he does CAE. I actually thought about serial vs. parallel connection of tanks before joining this thread, and don't really see a difference in the amount of loss that will be had in the tubings. Yes, a serial connection would be a problem for a high flow rate system, but I can't imagine a build where the amount of flow would favor a parallel over a serial connection. But then again, I have no pratical experience in moc'ing with phneumatics. Front -
I love the Separatist Shuttle, with it's neat little door design at the back, where Nute Gun Ray slides in. You can actually just fit Onaconda Far in there too.

Air compressor
Front replied to CP5670's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
wow, I did not even know that there was an air pressure gauge, I got so much to learn after returning to the bricks a couple of years ago. One of my colleages at work says you need six tanks in serial connection, to do serious pneumatics Front -
To be honest the arm-torso assembly is not supposed to be disassemblied. It causes irreversible damage to the parts, right from the first time it's done. But it can be done, but don't expect costumer service to take you serious, when you report a problem caused by it. Front

No, I engineer and model bricks at work, build sets in my spare time And I just had to try out a third set today. Truly small, but with another new alien. A slightly dissapointing alien (an orange one) in my book, but then the ones I've handled until now, are phenominal. Front

Bionicle glatorians hit Scandinavian stores 1st of March, they appeared in N.A. even before christmas. Other than that, you may be right

This set is just big when you see it for real. The back of the box show the "inside" of the set, including the mechanisms to make stuff move up and down. I haven't seen it move, but have the suspision that it looks really cool and realistic. The bricks included are shown on the edge of the box, like on Taj Mahal and Creator sets. That said, this is not a set for me, but it surely is impressive. Front

I will not show any pictures of my sets. I am as Part Designer allowed to test build sets, to keep my "put-bricks-together-knowledge" up to date, but treat the materials as confidential. That said, I would not be surprised if the sets show up in North American stores before anywhere else in the world. We Europeans are kind of getting used to that these days, like Bionicle releases 3 months later than in the U.S. Front

I've built a couple of the sets (a very small and a medium sized) this past week. I simply love the minifigures, the aliens that is. I visited the Danish Lego group "Byggepladen", which had a public display today not far from my home city. They had a couple of sets on display too.

I have at least 402 (399 according to brickset, and at least 3 specials from events and the Lego book). Been collecting Lego for 18 months

Nice to see a detailed review of this set, compared to my presentation of the F1 1:9 in this thread: F1 1:9 disassemblied You make the most picture detailed reviews here on EB, nearly over the edge I share your view on this set. Really a lot of nice red bricks put well together. In the future I would like to see a Ferrari F1 built with more realistic suspension, using technic, but keeping the System bricks to make the body design. Add PF drive and steering too Front

I'm not aware of which pictures was removed in the incident that just happened, but are you aware that it is illegal to host pictures of products or properties marked Confidential ? I think 99.9 % of the instances you described are EB removing pictures that are illegal to host.

Nice little review. I haven't paid any attention to this set, something this small is a bit high priced pr. brick. I don't question the fun building the figures, but it's realy targeted at the smallest kids. You could probably speed-build the monkey in 60 seconds. But I have to rate it above average, the colour selection and inclusion of two palm leaves is nice. Front

Sad to see the lack of control of release events. Quote from a Danish satire program: "Can't we just try and do a little bit better?"
