This is fine news in my opinion. I would have chosen the word Constraction Figures instead of Action Figures, as I think the LEGO products will always involve some form of building (construction). Nice new banner to fit the newly formed forum category.

Bink is not in the Billund office right now, but I should call him and complain that the website, although initially cool, is now boring. We need new content. Videos and stuff. I have a feeling sets will start creeping into the market.

REVIEW: Creator 5868 Ferocious Creatures
Front replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm a big fan of CREATOR sets. I have a lot of the animal sets from the last couple of years, and will pick this set some time in the future. You get a lot of bricks for your money. Nice review, I enjoyed reading it. -
If you bought the baseplates from new, and the minifigures fall if you move it, I'm pretty sure costumer service will send you new ones.
-
You should surely be able to place minifigures on a baseplate and it should stay in place. I just tried a white baseplate and a minifigure, and I can shake the plate quite wildly while holding it up-side-down, and the minifigure stays in place. Try it with different minifigures. If the result is always the same, it is surely the plate that is not within required dimensions. Whenever something is not as you would expect, you could use costumer service on www.lego.com They are there for you.

Instead of phoning costumer service, it might be more simple to request the needed pieces at lego.com

Those who stole the photos...
Front replied to Anio's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
You show that you have absolutely no idea about what ownership of an image means. You defend thieves. Goodbye You can't be sued for using another guys building technic. You can get sued for using other peoples photos. It's as simple as that. -
Look at the box art again. Villian without piston legs, regular sized Hero.

The prize is far from that.

BEWARE: Collectable Minifigures US Online Purchases

I'm sorry to hear you had a problem. So will you return them to LEGO or just live with it ? Why not ask LEGO to send four bags which is not Demolitian Dummy (although they might not know that they can check which figure it is). -
Someone destroyed the weapon that designer Christoff and I spent time designing and engineering ? How could they ? The weapon flame is not removable. One nice thing about the weapons Blaze has, is that they can be held in the hands, as well as fit on the new arms.

Welcome to Eurobricks, I hope you will enjoy it. Regarding your question: What's up ? Answer: The opposite of gravity.

I really love it, nice truck. You captured the toy story feel with great precision.

Product designers for LEGO Group - Making ideas into toys
Front replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have no bulletproof knowledge, but I don't think TLG ever was the company in Denmark with most patents a year. The company is simply too small, and besides we must remember that TLG make toys, exclusively. A company like Danfoss, the largest industrial company in Denmark has always done a lot of patents (I've worked there too), and I'm pretty sure they often have been no. 1 and are regular in the top 3. Although Danfoss has been hit by the economic situation (which TLG has not), they are still quite larger than TLG counting employees. Novo Nordisk, a pharmaceutic company may also be very active with patents. -

Working in Billund is nice. You are asked to perform and meet deadlines. But it is also important that you function as a complete human being. And that you are able to have fun. The last couple of weeks I've taken a quick tour after lunch through Billund on my in-liners, to let my brain breath. To make good things you need to rest. Or work out. Or... -
On friday we had a release party in the HF project. We started out in the yard surrounded by the Tech-House (where Technic, HF and Racers are), got a special designed HF t-shirt(designed by our crazy german designer Cerim) and went out onto the grass lawn to have some fun. We played beach-volley, had a rubber-boots throwing competition, and other fun stuff. I won a HF set for making an awesome save in beach volley :-) Afterwards we had some food and a soft drink. Working at Lego is not that bad

HF has a later release than e.g. World Racers. ....... Take armor of the torso and pop off the sign from the armor. A 5 year old can do it.
-
Dharkan, I'm pretty sure your brother enjoyed building the set. Don't worry about others EB members thought on what you buy or not. I enjoyed reading the review. It's a nice little set. The only Toy Story minifigures I got are the green soldiers, and I don't even like them

Another Titan sized Moc I've made, this one combining Dark Grey with silver. Yes, the Midak sky blasters are way too big for his arms and the hands are too small. Add the fact that the pose in the right picture below does not try to hide this, and you've got a good starting point for a comment :-) One thing I think I got right here is the build of the torso, and I really like the use of the Pridak weapons in the silver version as back armor. And yes, he can stand on one leg, due to pistons to stabilise the knee, and double joints at the hip. THe Midak blaster add so much weight that double joints at the shoulders was mandatory. You are welcome to comment.

Yes, it seems nothing changed. I can access the page again.

the website gives an error. Probably because Bink is updating it.....

Is selling customised Lego bricks/minifigs legal?
Front replied to wingbliss's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If you want to do business like this in more that just a very small scale, I should think that I little more research than asking on a forum is needed. My guess is that TLG may have a case against something like this. -
How can you rule out possible rats down in the sewers ? Every city must have its own rats. Maybe robotic rats ?
-
LEGO is rarely about something non-removable.

Thank you guys for comments. In retrospect I might have wanted the legs a bit slimmer, not using the wide and clumsy shin piece, and maybe dropping the black Skrall armor for something smaller.
