  1. Oops, didn't mean to double post. Sorry.
  2. Thanks, i had thought of using Hawkeye's hairpiece but i thought it wouldn't capture Craig's spiky look very well. I would personally love to see Dori's hair in Tan on Silva, if they ever release that piece in that color. It could be just me.
  3. Very nice designs -- they look as official as they can get! What hairpiece would you recommend to use on Bond?
  4. Hi, Could someone please make me face and torso decals of Steve Mcgarrett played by Jack Lord and James MacArthur as Danny Williams from "Hawaii Five-O"? Reference Pics: Steve(Excuse me for the watermark): http://i150.photobuc...mcgarrett01.jpg Danny: http://static.tvguid...smacarthur1.jpg Thanks a lot.
  5. If i lived in Toronto i would without a doubt pick up the sets there but unfortunately i live around 2 or 3 hours by car from Toronto. It isn't a long way but it's a fair distance to go for the sets alone. I find it strange that Toys Toys Toys would be one of the first stores to have the sets on shelves?
  6. Can anyone tell me how many stores in Ontario are known to have the Hobbit sets in stock? Thanks in advance.
  7. That makes sense.
  8. Oh, thanks. The LEGO Club Magazine appears to state there will be more than one: "Add to your Lord of the Rings collection with exclusive sets available at Toys "R" Us in December". Does anyone know anything about this?
  9. Have the Hobbit TRU exclusive sets been identified yet?
  10. I voted for Bag end, a really spectacular looking set, one that i've been looking forward to all year. If i could vote twice i would vote for Mirkwood Spiders also; those little web baggies are neat! The trees and the minifig collection are also really cool.
  11. Looks like it. Remember it was only a prototype and they probably would have been replaced by something else if that version of the set had made it through.
  12. Thank you. I too was wondering about the sale prices at TRU comparing with the standard prices of most other stores. Seeing as my local Zellers(which has been holding off for a while now) is closing very soon it seems, i may find a more worthwile discount there.
  13. Very impressive. I especially like the creative rocky mountain system; if only i had that many slope bricks! Altogether a very well executed MOC.
  14. Would it be imprudent to start a Hobbit 2013 topic?
  15. I'd like to ask a question, LOTR sets are 20% off at TRU and i wasn't sure whether or not that is a good enough deal. Is that the cheapest they are going to get or should i wait for a better deal to come along?
  16. The license i would kill for(Just an expression, but pretty close) would be LEGO The Adventures of Tintin. I'm a great fan of Hergé's comic books and a tie-in license for Peter Jackson's upcoming sequel to the first Tintin film makes perfect profitable sense. And seeing as TLC already has the license to all of Peter Jackson's films we could well see the first Tintin sets in 2015. Another theme i will continue to dream of is the in-review Cuusoo project Back to the Future line.
  17. No problem. I have a TRU shop in my area so as soon as i hear of sets appearing on shelves i'm going to head over there to buy Bag End and maybe Mirkwood Spiders. Normally i wouldn't spend my money at TRU given the distressing prices but i want to get the Thor polybag for spending $40 or more, or something like that.
  18. There is definitely some mistake in the minifig count from balrog set. I think it would make sense to include Gandalf, 2 Moria Orcs, Frodo, and another member of the fellowship, like Boromir. Treebeard, at $60 it's too much for what we can imagine will be presented in the set, although i'll wait for pics to surface before i judge anything. The main reason i would get the set would be for Merry and Pippin, since i have the other two hobbits. I'm excited to see the remaining sets appear(crossed fingers for Crack of Doom set) although my money may be exhausted by the time the Hobbit wave has passed through, haha.
  19. Escape from Mirkwood Spiders designer video: http://thehobbit.lego.com/en-us/products/79001 Looks to be a good set; this is one that i have been looking forward to.
  20. Forgive me if this is old news, but today i had a look in my TRU flyer and found to my surprise that it states the limited edition Elrond figure comes free with the purchase of the LEGO Lord of The Rings game. I was under the impression that the figure was exclusive to pre-ordering the game? EDIT: I live in Canada.
  21. Actually, this reminds me of something i discovered on Toywiz.com back in 2010. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/greenserpant4/VillianFactory/toywiz2.jpg Coincidence?
  22. The original unreleased set always fascinated me and i think you have made a brilliant homage/remake. Personally i think for your next attempt you should try 4850 'Spider-Man's first chase'. - Endeavour
  23. Thank you for welcoming me! My favorite theme is currently LOTR. I also prefer the classic Jar Jar Binks figure to the current one. I don't know why. - Endeavour
