There's a Target at the mall about 15-20 minutes walk away from my house, and a Walmart a 15 minute bike in the other direction but I think I've been improving in budgeting the money I spend on Lego and other luxuries; I'm gonna need the extra money for university tuition.

Finally got around to watching The Hunger Games after reading the trilogy last March. Books are definitely but the movie was great for an adaptation; looking forward to Catching Fire. EDIT: Not sure I liked Liam Hemsworth as Gale; I know he didn't have a major role but he made the character seem really bland.

Nope; I also sort of thought 'lame Hoth trooper' until I read the name on the package. I probably won't be looking for one of these unless I happen to walk right into the aisle where they're stocked.

I'd have to say the only time I'm paranoid about my collection are when my brother's friends are over; considering they're all around the 9-10 years old age I usually tell them specifically not to go in my room, or just guard it myself. Other than that I'm fine with other family members or friends of mine taking a look around.

Here's an article on their 2012 sales: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-03-13/lego-builds-new-billionaires-as-toymaker-topples-mattel.html Considering the sales they had worth 4 billion, they could definitely afford to slash the prices on those older sets. It also seems reasonable that minifigures are the most expensive since they require a lot more detail and precision than ordinary bricks.

Taking this at face value, purist is just anything that's been officially sanctioned by and only by TLG; custom printings don't count, in my opinion. Not sure if a designer that gave up his job would still have access to any of TLG's printers for their products, but I wouldn't consider that purist because his work may not necessarily represent the views of the company. -

If Days of Future Past creates an alternate timeline for Last Stand and on it probably won't be a problem; if not, then you're probably right. Hopefully Singer and James Mangold have been collaborating for this type of paradox.

Same; my mom went and bought the Blu-Ray/DVD/Ultraviolet pack from Walmart even though I said several times it'd be better to wait a little for the price to drop. Whatever; still enjoyable, plus I don't have to spend time ripping a copy for my iPod. All good.

Yeah, has anyone been to a Target and seen any polybags in stock? I might go later this Tuesday if there are but otherwise... EDIT: Just went to the one here in London, couldn't find any. Shame. :/

True, but it is still an improvement from the recent ridiculous prices. I haven't any official announcements like this either; my guess is they'll make maybe one more wave after the show is over (January 2014) and then just go for Episodes 1-6 remakes until Episode 7 gets released (2015 or so?).

Is it just me or do some of the SW Toy Fair sets have really good price per piece ratio? In $US 75015 is about 7 cents (9 cents in CDN) which is pretty amazing for a Star Wars set.
