This MOC has rewritten the meaning of "bending the rules"! It's really entertaining ah ah! Anyway... I was looking at it with more calm... Man, this work is amazing! I love the coloured containers and the shape of the whole thing, too!

This is so cute! So you both are Italian?
-
Thanks, the thing of setting the average price with brickstore was exactly what I was searching for.
-
I'm thinking that this could become my favourite mecha ever! Those ears are amazing!

I agree with you, this was a thing that I also though while I was building it. Btw for me it seems that this is more visible in the droid (those grey pieces and too many yellow cheese slopes make it seem less Blacktron than it should be). Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you liked it

Well, I'm really far from being a pro builder, anyway thank you very much! [Grazie mille!]

Great build! I love it! And that baseplate is amazing, really well done!

Thanks Master Si-MOCs

Ok, I used to find only good threads here on Eurobricks... then I stepped into this one and... the result is down here, eh eh: I just started checking the pieces I have, but this project fascinates me! Anyway I have a question for you, serious Bricklinkers: is there a way on BL to spot the best price for a fixed amount of pieces on a wanted list? I mean, let's say that I want to place an order of exactly 500 pieces of my wanted list, can I sort the results to show which is the store with the best total amount for all the stuff? I hope it's written in understandable English. Btw, let me tell you one thing: as a noob "cafe corner bricklinker" I have to say that the price for that blue arch is [...] ridicolous!

Ha ha ha, that made me laugh so much! Thanks zane & wedge for your appreciation!

Ha ha, I know! I was in doubt if it was better to change the face or to use the classic head. I solved it in a simple way: i had the complete minifigure in my hand, the option was to search in the minifigures boxes for a frighted head. It didn't take too much to decide Thanks DraikNova, soccerkid6, Big Sal, Bob De Quatre & Eric Su for your comments

Wow, I love it. The tower is fantastic, it really reflects the evocative feelings of the sci-fi of the 70's!

Here's my entry for the "Forbidden Animal Planet Contest". So... King Parrot was tired of standing on Brickbeard's shoulder and it decided it was time to tell it to the captain. This is my first try of a "Caribbean Steampunk walking thing". In my mind it was really better than the actual result, but at least I qualified to enter the contest. Criticism, suggestion, flames and so on are welcome! I hope you'll enjoy it! [Higher res photos on my Flickr. See the signature for link]

Mine is coming, too! (I Need some time to finish it, though). It was a great idea in my mind, it came out quite the opposite, but I'll submit in any case

Thanks Dark_Alamez! (But I still consider your Ice Planet City the best entry )

Thanks master Si-MOCs... back in the days when I was a child, Blacktron 1 was my favourite sci-fi theme, too.

Thanks soccerkid6 for your kind words! Thanks Kristel, I'm honored!

WOW! Just... WOW! I'm speechless...

Thanks mrcp6d & zane_houston! to DraikNova: yes it is
-
We'll see! Anyway let me tell you that I really love your build! It's great! Good luck! It's not for the prizes, it's because this is a real masterpiece for me...

Thanks for you support DraikNova, Kai NRG & TheLegoDr, I really appreciate it! It means a lot to me! E grazie mille Wedge! (an Italian mate deserved a separate comment :-) Yes it's meant to be the control tower... I didn't even think anyone could identify what I was building, so maybe things went out better than I thought :-)

Hi all! Here’s my entry for the Micro Sci-Fi Contest: This is a microscale Blacktron mining plant, situated - obviously - on Planet Blacktron. You say: weren’t Blacktrons a group of raiders? Yes, you're right, but they also needed iron to make starships, so… :-) One thing I noticed during the making of this vignette: I’m really bad at building microscale stuff (this is my first one), so I had to “cheat” with the addition of a flying Blacktron mining droid, just to make everything better eh eh! Anyway everything fits a 16 x 14 studs baseplate, so I'm still legit (or at least I think so). Additional notes & credits: some mecha building techniques are taken from flickr user IronSniper (I think he’s the best at it). The overall idea of the mining plant is taken from classic Lego sets and from The Brothers Brick administrator Nannan Z (see his “Oasis” diorama, it’s one of the best Sci-Fi Lego things I’ve ever seen). Hope you’ll enjoy it and forgive my english…

This will be very hard to beat... Makes me want to quit the contest Awesome work!

I agree with you, that's the same thing that I was thinking while reading the review -
