Lloyd ZX of 2013. It may not be a spinner, but it will sell for a pretty penny once Discontinued. Thank you everyone, for the kind comments for my Fire Mech "storage" design. I just messed with it one night and that's what became of it!

Remove Kai. Remove the black 3x4 slope in the cockpit of the Driller and replace it with a 2x4 slope (preferably black). Remove and re-attach the Hero Factory components on the arms and legs of the Mech so that they are out-facing instead of forward-facing. Push the controls against the chest. Move the arms up so that the hand is gripping the barrel gun, covering the "breasts" of the mech. Make sure the Fire Elemental Symbols are facing forward (Barrel guns' at an angle inward). Move the legs into a sitting position. Roll the feet around so that the golden toes are directly pressed against each other. Push the sword-horns down forward. They can go down all the way. Remove the thruster reverse tile an place it on the very bottom of the back plate. Push the sword-horns on the driller up. Connect the Mech onto the Driller by placing it onto the Trans-orange 2x2 cylinder. Make sure the cylinder is attached directly bellow the black 1x2 plate (originally underneath the reverse plate). Angle the serrated blades on the Hero Factory parts on the Mech's legs according to the wheels. Attach an Exo-Force robot hand (preferably black) in between the Mech's Sword-horns. You can then insert the Fire Sword here. Hide the Earth Sword underneath the back wheel's Technic brick-beam, directly attaching it onto the 4x6 dark bley plate. Seat Cole and Kai within the Driller.

The emptyness on the back is for Kai's Fire Mech. That set got so much more amazing when I figured that out!

Chalk me up to have one near me within ten minutes! It happens to be the only one in the state, actually, so lucky me I suppose. -
I bought Equila's Ultra Striker today at the Lego store (Shamrock promo and my 10% off coupon stacked for nearly 25% in savings!!). I will have a mini review done sometime soon. EDIT (March 16th): I also bought Eris' Eagle Interceptor and Jungle Gates. I have ordered Razcal's Double Crosser (and Galaxy Squad Mini Mech) off of Bricklink as well! Still yet to open any of these. Will be doing so once I log out.

Guilds of Historica Introduction/General Discussion Thread
PenPlays replied to I Scream Clone's topic in Guilds of Historica
That's funny, I've been planning to jump ahead in time (eventually) in Dawn of Ages as the Guilds progress. Remember people, this isn't our Earth based on our time line. The ages of castles and knights could last for centuries if we wanted! If we go "colonizing" might I suggest it being one of DaMaximus' Guilds (I don't think the four Guilds have much of a presence there, yet). -
Dragons fall into the mythical category. I kept them as a separate thought being that they could be captured completely different, being that they are not physically within an animal phylum. But, along with a panda in the bear faction, I'd love to see me some dragons! By the way, I saw the new trailer today for the episodes airing on the 27th. First two episodes are the ones we've seen and then the third episode which we already knew would be new. Lots of calm scenes with Cragger and Laval. Maybe you were onto something GCF (a good cragger fan could use an abreviation ). After seeing the trailer, the only thing I could think was... "Dude!"

I suppose we are both in the wrong Cragger. It looks like there will be no distractions for Ninjago. I thought there was something different about the animation style...- 4,591 replies

The Insectoid Poly is significantly smaller than most Polys. The lower price point was excellent to see, especially from TRU.

Eagles are big swooping preadators, Ravens are moderate sized birds after scraps. Check. Not alike. Foxes are "every fox for himself" and stick to moderate size prey, Wolves travel in packs and bring down large sized targets. Check. Not alike. Lions are large and are carnivores that feed on large prey, Tigers are large and are carnivores that feed on large prey. Check. Alike Gorillas are a type of monkey, Chimpanzees are a type of monkey. Check. Alike. Crocodiles are large, scaly amphibians, lizards are various in size, scaly amphibians, frogs, are various in size, slimy amphibians. Check Alike, When something is like another, they both become uninteresting in the eyes of a child because they have seen "something like this" before. Lego can't afford that. Especially after the hard work done to promote this theme. Sometimes the business side of life is far stronger, and believe me, if there were a lizard tribe, I would definitely reconsider my choice of favorite tribe, but for now...

The Green Poly is $3.49, whereas the Orange poly is $3.99 at Wal-mart.

This wave of Ninjago does feature some gems. Garmatron and Temple of Light come to mind.

The reason Ninjago had an entire new group of villains three episodes into the series is because it took them an entire year to continue the series. Getting a new villain just three episodes into the LoC series within the same set production window would rush the series extremely, unless of course that villain(ess) has already been introduced. Not to mention the fact that if these "supposed new villains" were revealed in early Summer, the hype for these villains would drop dramatically by the time the new wave of sets get released (Winter 2014). I'm also curious how multiple reptile tribes would work. I think it would be too overwhelming. It's like having both a Lion and a Tiger tribe, a Gorilla and a Chimpanzee tribe, or a Wolf and a Coyote tribe. It'd be just too much!

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
PenPlays replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Actually. If Lego plans to release the LoC TV series in the Summer (officially), they would have to be post-production by early March. All episodes of the second season of Ninjago were finished when Darkness Shall rise aired (mid July 2012). It just depended on how the channel the Ninjago TV series was on wanted to spread the series out (i.e.People in Singapore (location?) got Rise of the Spinjitzu Master before America did). Not to mention that The Fold had already started production on new songs for Ninjago in early January this year. Jay Vincent already is composing new music, so by the looks of things. Season 3 of Ninjago is well underway. I can definitely see this next season showing up around late September/early November..- 4,591 replies

More Nindroids! In just a couple short words, my love for Ninjago has strengthened. I sure hope they take their time and perfect this next chapter.- 4,591 replies

I've finally managed to find the Ice Tower set at stores besides Toys R Us! I was a little worried there that it was going to be an exclusive. Still haven't bought it, but I wanted to shoot down any rumors I might have created earlier. Am I right to assume that we should see pictures of the Croc Hideout say... mid-April/early May?

I can't see a reason for a thread like that. Also, Pepperment means that she wants all conversation on the matter stopped at that point. It's irrelevant to the topic.

Allow me to clarify. Yes, the sound is off in every single Season two episode in all Region 1 DVD's. The music is altered, yes, but it doesn't get quieter until episode 7 as stated above.- 4,591 replies

It's a store exclusive, so it is only available at one certain store in a country (Wal-Mart in the US) beside the Lego Brand stores.

You could make the opposing horseman a Corrupt Hand Knight? Maybe they were gentlemanly enough to settle terms with a joust? I'm hoping to get more done on my first Ch VI MOC later next week. -

It is only a bit off. However, most of the orchestrated themes after The Day Ninjago Stood Still are quieted down, which is a horrendous shame being that it is the better musical half of the season.- 4,591 replies

The difference in the CHI Temple and Royal Roost is the price which is a HUGE factor these days.

It's too late to ask questions why a finalized set includes a certain character. If you have a problem with that, than you only need to bring it up once. Repeatedly whining about it will not help anything. So please no more whining about Crominus' inclusion in the Command Ship. I can argue the same thing about the Serpentine Generals in the Epic Dragon Battle, or the fact that the Fangpyre Mech isn't in the Ninjago show at all! But they are finalized sets, so everyone who is displeased will have to deal with it.

Hmm. I see where you are coming from with this. And indeed, Lagravis can be considered a very important character. I can see his Speedor selling really well (this years Lloyd ZX so-to-speak) By the way, it's Cragger, not Craggers.
