Sure, but who wants to pack a new set up just after building it for the first time? Unless I specifically bought a set for parts, most of my sets stay displayed for months on end!
-
My good friend, if you can find that set, I will applaud you. I've never known Lego sets to be invisible but this set is proof. It is the last boxed set I need from the 2013 wave besides the Battle Pack, and the last time I saw it was before January!

From Almaak to Zotax: all the planets in the LEGO galaxies...
PenPlays replied to TalonCard's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Regarding the LUP worlds, I would say that they still qualify as planet chunks, it's just that they do not share Nimbus Station as a hub world with the other planet chunks. -
Allow me to emphasize on the curtain, if indeed, your Lego area (as I should have phrased it) is not in its own specified room.
-
If you intend to get a replacement, I think it should be soon. The set is retiring. Might I also suggest a lock into your Lego room? If your Lego room is a part of another room, might I suggest a heavy curtain?
-
I forget if I mentioned this to you Pep, but I received mine some time ago. Thanks again!

From Almaak to Zotax: all the planets in the LEGO galaxies...
PenPlays replied to TalonCard's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Here is some more info. The Xalax racers are called Ramas in Lego Racers 2 Ogel is the final world in Lego Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge. Here are some sources. Lego Universe Wiki (Remember that the areas you wish to add are planet chunks. They are not official planets. Also it was said that the planet would somehow be reformed after the Lego Universe's initial story ended. I forget where this info comes from, so please by all means, someone correct me.) BS01 (Bionicle Wiki) -
Easy, buy Temple of Light, Draiknova. It is worth it's price, very much more than the Epic Dragon Battle.

The marriage could be sooner. I said the baby would be soon, right? And another thing... Why don't you just sit down for a couple weeks before posting more builds so that the rest of us have time to catch up, eh? -
Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
PenPlays replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I feel sad how the beginning of "the next chapter" of Ninjago has to start with a graphic novel. Allow me to explain. Typically the graphic novels have their own story, as in, the plot of the graphic novel ends in the graphic novel. The idea of Garmadon having a last resort in case he was defeated is excellent, but just to contain it in the novel just seems a waste of show spanning potential. To be honest, and going along side of what you said Aanchir, I just hope the story can get back on it's feet with the fanbase. And this time with spinners, but let's save that discussion for the 2014 thread, hmm?- 4,591 replies

Okay maybe not a spectrum, but it is a bit purpley!

I sense the Minifig de Gothia will have his own heir soon as well. Congratulations de Gothia. I'm still exactly where I was when the last person asked. I'm partially done with an unscored build, and I have no idea when I will Bricklink some parts. -

"This is the day, the day of glory." I don't think I'll be deliberating whether or not to buy these songs off of iTunes once they come out. Thanks Meiko, and by chance do you have "Unleash the Power" without the sound effects in the background?

Congrats CM4S! Nest Dive is yet another Speedorz dud. The jumping function will be waaay to hard for the target audience to master. It took me well over 45 tries to get the Speedor in the nest. You have to gently rev up the Speedor and then aim it perfectly at the outmost pointing finger of the pot-leaf ramps. And even then, the nest Hazard has to be propped up against something so that the Speedor doesn't push it around upon touch. Also the pot-leaves will mark up the Speedor Wheel with enough attempts. Now if one were to step away from that, we have THE BEST Speedor (itself) to date. The blue eagle Speedor is sleek looking and is the first dark colored Speedor to become available. And then there is Eglor. He is probably the most intricately printed minifigure I own. I. Love. This. Bird. The monocle is okay, but it can be removed by twisting the head which looks similar to Equila, just with a few minor differences. I'm only an Eris away from completing my Eagle Tribe making me a very happy little birdie. The weapons included are the Jabahak (halberd) and the CHI Weapon Lightnix. The Cards are the same as usual. Character, normal weapon, CHI Constraction, CHI weapon, and power-up. The Power-up is also underwhelming as they are just a pair of wings. If one were to combine all Spring wave sets together, you have a pretty nice track. Ease-through Jungle Gates at high-speed, jump off one of the Nest Dive's pot-leaves into the Ice Tower. At top speed, the Nest Dive can make excellent jumps into things, it just depends if the nest doesn't move. If it does, your aim is thrown off, and landing the Speedor Minifig-up is a one-in-a-million chance. In other words, Boulder Bowling, the Ravens from Target Practice (no cannon), Ice Tower, the Ultimate Speedorz Tournament Fountain, and the CHI Battles Pot-leaf Goblet are perfect pairs with the nest dive for this purpose. Ratings 6/10 Half the set is perfect, half the set isn't. That's that.

Cole's Earth Driller is a surprise set. It's longer than what the box lets on and can easily be modded to fit two (maybe even three) in the cockpit. The Swordsman in the set gets a katana and a spare (it should wield them both) and Cole is shoulder-armor-less and looks nice in his Kimono. The Earth Blade is also nifty and has a very nice green color to it (unlike the show where its more or less a color spectrum which would have been interesting to see in as an actual piece). The Driller sports the Power Miners' Thunder Driller function of having a drill that spins in two directions. One thing that is sad, however, is its very empty back with the random trans-orange 2x2 cylinder... or is it? Fold up the Fire Robot and you have official show cannon. The Fire Robot (by moving its thruster down) can latch onto the back of the Earth Driller and will remain there with a relative amount of pushing the Driller around. I will probably post a picture of the combo soon. Also, with out messing with the technic sliders, the back wheels will easily slide along the axle they are on. Luckily the set is equipped for such and if one can slide the red blockers against the wheels so that they don't slide out from the golden hubcaps. The set comes with a smaller yellow Technic slider/blocker thingy (I'm not good with Technic piece names) that can be put within the drill that also suffers from the sliding problem. You should have a much more play-friendly driller after that. If you are confused I'll get pics taken to show you all. Rating 9/10 Certainly function filled, but come on. This seriously could have been bigger to fit at least all five Ninja in it.

The March Wave of Speedorz is out! I just got Nest Dive. Also found Jungle Gates, but passed (now's just not the time). Strangely, I did not see any Ice Towers. Usually the local Fred Meyer's gets all the stock... Will mini-review later tonight. I GOT ME EGLOR! WOOT!

Just got Cole's Driller. I'm excited as I only have two more sets to go of this year's sets!

Being the completist that I am, I will need that Battle pack in order to be considered complete, but $15! Oh well, the horrible card shrines were that price which will be the hard to come by seeing as they have been retired.

Never heard of it. Does it include the Stone Warriors (Black hats with red forks) or did you mean 2 men from the Stone Army (meaning any of the three besides Kozu)?
-
Hehe... no. I think those smiles look very... awkward with the "Helmets" on. Should have been a neutral expression. However, there are some Chima heads that are just awesome. Take Razcal's for instance.
