  1. I like the overall scene: the furniture, the windows, the secret weapons locker, the blue background. The story is interesting and thrilling, congratulations!
  2. Thanks everybody for the comments, they are welcome! The design of the landscape was tricky; I built 20 12x12 modules that attach each other and that gives a lot of flexibility when designing building areas. As a second step, almost all the 6x12 plates were dark bluish gray, but some were light green. A third layer had smaller green plates (green, dark green) or tiles. And above these layers, some plants. Best regards!
  3. I like the small tank, however I would have added more tiles; it gives a cleaner appearance and can be taken as explosive reactive armor packs. Go with the attack! Congratulations!
  4. I like the gun! As usual, well detailed and with a nice story. Congratulations!
  5. Well done in such a small surface. Congratulations!
  6. Grid E5 Lieutenant Commander Mike and Master Sergeant Josh "Speedy" González are in an observation post very close to the border between Erotema and Briolui on Grid E5. His orders are simple...transmit the coordinates of a Briolui defensive outpost in the border and correct (if necessary) the fire for 2 Self Propelled Howitzers of the 1st Armoured Division of the Erotema Army. OBSPOST1 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr -------------------------- While LtCdr observes and passes the coordinates, MSgt "Speedy" González secures the position. OBSPOST3 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr ----------------------- "Tweety to Silvester, do you copy?" "Silvester to Tweety, roger" "Silvester, heading from Oscar Papa 1 is 67º, range 4560 metres, do you copy?" "Tweety, roger. I say again, 67 delta, 4560 mikes" "Silvester, roger" "Tweety, fireworks to begin soon, out" OBSPOST4 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, a few kilometres from that place, in the edge of a palm tree forest, 2 SPH commence the attack... The SPH share a common hull with other vehicles I will unveil in the following weeks. According to my scale 1 stud=34 cms (a minifig thus will be 1,75 m), the vehicle is about 3,8 metres wide (very similar to a standard SPH), with 11 studs wide. The tracks are 2-stud wide (68 cms), similar to the tracks of a standard MBT (with which my SPH shares the hull). It is about 23 studs long (about 7,8 metres approx). Any additional data, just ask.
  7. If we look in our real world, the EU and NATO treaties speak about mutual defense. If any member(s) is/are attacked without a previous reason, the other members must help. Briolui seized a joint Filace-Briolui radar station (this is a "valid" reason for declaring the war in the game) and Filace bombed it. Then, RON and COAC nations declared the war on each other, so that gives you "reasonable" grounds to declare the war. However, if the RON country in your continent has not clearly declared the war on you or other COAC nation, declaring the war is more complicated. Read RON countries statements and check if there is a general war declaración on the COAC. If so, just declare the war reciprocally. Hope this helps.
  8. IDP stands for Internally Displaced People (or Populations). In other words, people forced to leave from their living places to others within their countries. During the war in the former Yugoslavia and the Kosovo war (among other conflicts in the world) these imagen were (unfortunately) very common and broadcasted on the media.
  9. Reminds me of the IDP in many recent conflicts in Europe...Congratulations!
  10. Perhaps you are right about the uniformed cops, escorts with casual clothes (but not sunglasses inside a building) are most usual. The hall of heroes (as I intended) is not the "known" monument to the unknown soldier with a honor guard (maybe because in my country there is not a honor guard in it). It is just a memorial place for a former king, that's why I didn't put such a guard . In any case, thanks for posting and the constructiva feedback!
  11. Journalist in the Hall of Heroes by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr “Good morning to the citizens of Erotema. This is Antony Stone from the Hall of Heroes, where I am going to interview President Blas Gálvez after he authorized our Ambassador to declare the war on the RON countries.” P2 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr “Sir, it´s very usual finding you here. Yes, Anthony, in hard times I always visit the statue of King Caesar to be inspired by what he meant for our country. We are in a war we didn´t want, we have been forced to declare the war and we are doing everything to win it, with the help of God and the courage of our ancient heroes”. P1 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Enjoy!
  12. My sigfig is not visible yet in the post. I changed the privacy settings long time ago. If it fails again, let me know and I´ll upload it again on flickr. Thanks.
  13. The design is cool but the inverted glacis may impair its all terrain capabilities, as it looks very close to the ground. Have you used 3-studs tracks or double 1-stud tracks? Congratulations!
  14. Superb story and build, congratulations!
  15. Customization is highly recommended. Does this include the use of a small piece (2 cms x 4 cms for example) of a camouflage net to help in the concealment of a vehicle, a sniper or an observer? Thanks.
  16. Erotema Ambassador to the Brick of Nations, Mr. Curro Jiménez. AMBASSADOR by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr "The situation in the vicinity of our peaceful country can´t be held in other way than the one that implies the use of force. The seizure of the joint radar base by Briolui´s forces is itself an act of war. We have been patient with this outrageous actions against our allied Filace. But we won´t wait any more. As a consequence of the declarations of war and treacherous actions of Briolui and other RON countries against our allies of the COAC, I declare the war on all the RON countries and will provide every support to any COAC nation. However, this is a war and the last, worst resource to obtain peace. Citizens of RON countries, you must know that this war is not against you, but against the leaders who unleashed the Horsemen of the Apocaypse against our peaceful nations. Stand against your leaders and join us. Our determination to have this war finished soon is as strong as the truth that will lead us to victory, with the Help of God."
  17. Wow! good rocks! Congratulations again!
  18. Congratulations for the story, water, trees and cliff details. And humour is always welcome! Best regards.
  19. Thanks for your feedback! About the seabed, you can find different types of seabed depending on where you are. The Mediterranean shores of Spain where I was born (and I used to dive in) are very flat. A more rocky seabed would have burnt my laptop while rendering...(almost a day). The use of a submarine was for my experience on larger lego subs, and for real events. The movie "men of honour" depicts the hunt for a missing American H bomb off the Spanish coast in the mid 60s; a scene portrays Cuba Gooding Jr evading a Soviet sub sent to find the bomb. That's why I found the sub as a good idea. Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire!
  20. Ok, thanks for your answers to both questions. About the first one, it seems clear that the proposal would fit in a category (let´s see which of them). About the second one, it´s clearer now; as long as the main focus of the build is something different from the technology that is to be unlocked, it will be ok. Let´s keep on building and proposing.
  21. I have two suggestions to avoid doubts. 1. concerning secret agents carrying out missions in a foreign country, sabotage missions forbid this, but: -could these missions be considered as supporting the war effort? If not... -could they be considered as special ops? -If all the above mentioned options don't suit, is it possible to create a new side mission called "espionage" (example) with a minimum level to be unlocked? 2. Concerning the unlock of several weapons. As far as I understand from the previous posts, I can show an introduction of a weapon even if I didn't unlock it. For example (assuming I have unlocked armor and my next level is naval Ops), could I make a build depicting the construction of a boat? Thanks.
  22. Grids M6 and M7 (general map). Ldd build. After knowing that the Spriznulo Navy failed the trials with 2 drones on grids L6, L7, M6, M7, the 4th flotilla of the Erotema Submarine Force departed from her main naval base in an attempt to recover such valuable technology and return it to the legitimate owner. ES 411 (Erotema submarine 411) is underway to grids M6 and M7 in silent running in case the passive sonar array can detect any distress signal or abnormal noise coming from the lost drones. According to the Strategic Electronic Warfare Units, there is evidence of an unknown radar signal first detected on grid L6 that followed a path to grids M6 and M7 before disappearing from the radar screens. As Spriznulo is an allied, it is vital that the COAC finds the drones before any RON nation do. Secret orders, known as Letters of Last Resort (yes, I have copied the name from the Royal Navy), are to be executed by the Submarine Fleet Captains in case there is no time or possibility to report to the Erotema Navy High Command. Will our submarine find anything apart from old cannons, chests, masts or sealife? DIVERS OK by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr ES 411 belongs to a series of midget submarines, which have inspired the larger classes still on trials, but soon ready for a conflict that the COAC didn´t start. Enjoy!
  23. I agree with Spud The Viking, good scene and the detail of the foam is very ingenious. Don´t forget to put the name of your country in the title of the topic!
