[GBW] - Troop build up - Erotema - Submarine Assembly Plant
sigpro replied to sigpro's topic in The Great Brick War
Hi again. After all your comments I can´t stay muted and the first I will do is say THANKS for your opinions and comments. The submarine is completed from the bow to the stern, inside and outside. However, I will make small builds during the campaigns for you to see all her features (submarines are female, aren´t they). For example the torpedo and weapons room, the sleeping quarters, the control room, both meeting-lunch rooms, the kitchen, the radio and sonar rooms, the AIP zone, the cofferdam and the diesel rooms. She will be christened soon. Movies can be very inspiring... Best regards! -
The Brick of Nations ---- Retired from Old Game

Mr. Curro Jiménez, Erotema Ambassador to the BON. Although we are in a war, Erotema can´t stay apathetic when innocents suffer. We will provide shelter, food, medical care and anything we can so as the suffering of the civilians is relieved. War is brutal and the highest representation of the loss of humanity, but it doesn´t mean a lack of humanity. For so, our President has instructed me to inform all of you that our troops (EROTEMA troops, Sigpro in) will help civilians, no matter their country, religion, race or political beliefs. Troops from the RON that want to collaborate in the areas in which we hold the control will not be attacked unless we are attacked first. Official messages to the RON countries High Command Offices have been sent to coordinate. Ambassador Blas Gálvez offering humanitarian aid by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr -
Map location: Grid C4 in Studica, P6 world. At Erotema Shipyards, the assembly of the first S90 class submarine (to be christened yet) is finishing. STERN MODULE WITH RUDDERS AND PUMP JET by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr President Gálvez went there to take a final look of the manufacturing process. He speaks with the Fleet Admiral... PRESIDENT BLAS GÁLVEZ AND FLEET ADMIRAL by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr "-When will the sub be ready to support our Army and allies? Soon things may go very harsh. No problem President, the sub will be ready to be christened and ready to sail in 6 weeks. Ok. What about the S100 model? It´s on inception. Good." The S90 moves using a pump jet, so it is very silent. TAIL AND PUMP JET by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr The President and Fleet Admiral visit several parts of the factory to see how the work is going on MODULE ALMOST FINISHED by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr MODULE ALMOST FINISHED 2 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en FlickrMODULE ALMOST FINISHED 3 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr And he sees a scale model of the completed submarine and a sample of the weapons carried. SCALE MODEL AND HEAVY WEAPONS by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr "President, this is what our submarine can carry. The black cylinders close to us are naval mines, with them we can block any enemy port or naval route. Next, the cruise missiles, with a range of 2500 km. Its conventional warhead is very powerful and its CEP is less than 10 meters. The dark gray torpedo is an excellent weapon against ships or submarines. It has a double homing system with optic fiber and acoustic sensors, with a range of 50 km and 50 knots of top speed. To conclude, the SSM, with a range of 150 km and able to strike both ships or land targets. Besides, the sub will carry SAM in a VLS in the sail to have short range AAA capability against ASW helicopters." The submarine is a real build I began at the beginning of 2017 after making a 12000+ part LDD. I posted a few pictures of several real lego-built modules, but the pics displayed here with the wall and floor were taken a few hours ago. Enjoy!

[GBW] - Troop Movement - Refnor - Pushing into Briolui (LDD)
sigpro replied to VaderFan2187's topic in The Great Brick War
Hi! I like the vehicles but maybe they have overscaled wheels. The light tank could be wider; if you make a comparison with real vehicles (such as the Italian light tank CENTAURO), it is only a bit smaller than an MBT. Bye! -

A good use of TIE cockpits! And a good humanitarian act by carrying wounded of the enemy side to be taken care of. -
But if the campaign already finished, side builds posted after the deadline will be scored on campaign2 or on campaign3? (In this case). And the limit of 4 side builds per campaign still applies, doesn't it?

The submarine vehicle looks nice! The factory has good details, too. However, having orders of not taking prisoners...that creates an ugly precedent!- 5 replies

[GBW] Supporting the war effort - Erotema - Dear diary.
sigpro replied to SkyPie's topic in The Great Brick War
The details are excellent in the lockers and the bed. I also laughed when I saw the items inside them, even with the rat in the air conditioning ducts. The anthem of our country is also excellent. Good to have you in my team! -
GBW (CP2) Commonwealth of Southern Territories - Timing
sigpro replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in The Great Brick War
Wow! The details are very good, the technic bricks simulating holes are well placed and the small plates used as debris are excellent. -
As Stash2Sixx said, the cammo on the tank is very good. The terrain has a lot of work on it and the pillbox was realistic.

Hi ODA, I´m afraid you arrived late to choose Erotema (member of the COAC), as SkyPie has already taken the free slot. Each country has up to two players, so you will have to choose a different country with an available slot. Best regards.

What has made me say "qué bueno" (in Spanish "so good") was the assembly on the roof of the Hummer to let the machine gun and gunner rotate and cover 360º. The SAM launcher is very good, simple and detailed. -

sigpro replied to Captain Genaro's topic in The Great Brick War
The MRAP vehicle is very good, as it is cammo pattern. The gun is very well detailed, and the modified bricks to simulate the wood trunks in the trench is another good detail. The mortar is another good example of what can be done with simple parts. -
Wow! A lot of action, good vehicles (LAV and ship) and good background.

Hi! The story is ok and according to the campaign plot. The truck is right, it´s a pity Lego doesn´t make an 8-stud windscreen. I don´t know whether you used a mobile phone or a digital camera to take the pics; maybe some settings can be changed and the final result will improve. Bye and good job!

GRID D4. An Advanced Command Post of the Erotema Army in the middle of a forest area. Mushrooms, trees and grass cover a dark gray land. 1 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr The crew of a new Rocket Launcher Tank has been called to the HQ tent. 2 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr As a polite crew they are, asking permission is the first thing they do. 3 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr And the Officer in charge lets them in. 4 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Another view of the Command Post. 5 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Inside the tent... 6 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr And the orders are given soon... 7 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Other views of the rocket launcher. 8 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr 9 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr The real thing is that I have been inspired on the US MLRS, because I refused to reuse -again- the SPH hull for another build in the same campaign, but it would have worked too. This design lacks the aft drive sprocket and there is a stud separating the 3rd and 4th wheels. This is a classical Christie drivetrain without support rollers. A remotely-operated .50 HMG on the roof provides light defense against infantry. The launcher has 12 cells, each of them capable of storing any missile or rocket up to 600 mm (approx, 2 studs are 68 cms) in diameter and 4 meters in length (approx). There is another version with 48 rockets. You´ll see it soon... Enjoy!

[GBW] - Troop Movement - EROTEMA - Picnic and SAM launch test
sigpro replied to sigpro's topic in The Great Brick War
Well, for my armoured units I decided to design a common hull and, with few changes, have tanks, howitzers, AAA, engineer vehicles, armoured ambulances...the options are endless. This is common around the world. The Israeli Army has several vehicles sharing the same hull: the Merkava tank itself, the Merkava howitzer and the APC. Same with the Leopard 2 mbt and the bridge launcher. Hope you like it! -

GRID E4, a forest close to the border with Briolui. In order to test a new medium range AAA tank, a launch test has been scheduled. First, a two-man team has to choose a good launch site. 1 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr But, as they have plenty of time, why not light a fire to cook something? 2 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr They are in the middle of cooking a potato omelette -"tortilla de patata"- when the AAA tank arrives. 3 bis by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr As you see, it shares the same hull as the already known SPH. This is an 8-missile SAM, using a large dish radar to detect incoming aircraft, launch an active homing missile and switch it off. This prevents the use of HARM weapons against it (Highspeed Anti Radiation Missiles), used to take down radar-guided SAM sites. 3 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr They are relaxed as they enjoy the picnic. Croissants, bananas, potato omelette...what else? Even a siesta? Why not? 4 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr But this is the Army! No time for siesta or relax! Only a few minutes went by and they received a message, the probe droid to test the SAM site was flying, so they had to man the AAA tank and launch a missile! 5 bis by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr 5 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr But they are good servicemen and are able to launch without delay. 6 bis by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr 6 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Enjoy!
