  1. It looks excellent. I also thought that was Jean in the top left corner but Gambit makes more sense with his staff and energy blast. Can't wait to see the interior and what rooms are included. Storm's classic hair doesn't fit on her head with the shoulder piece so I guess the shoulder piece won't be included here.
  2. Stitch is popular enough that his red spaceship can probably get its own separate set in the future. Maybe with a brick-built Gantu.
  3. I'm guessing 3-4. That seems the most likely number based on the Peter Pan and Up sets. Stitch seems to be popular enough with Lego, between two minifigs and a brick-built set, that they might be willing to invest in a new mold like they did with Dug in Up but I'm not sure we'd be lucky enough to get both Jumba and Pleakley so it's more likely we might not get either. The Target Ideas set is also supposed to feature Stitch and I'm wondering if it might not be easier for them to shoehorn Lilo into that as well since she'll have an existing minifigure now. The $90 price-tag is a bit worrying because Lilo's house is fairly big. It should be a least the size of Snow White's cottage, which was more or less the case with the original Lego Ideas submission. For only $90, this means we're going to get a house more along the size of the Up house or Winnie the Pooh's house. It's going to be tiny and I don't think a $90 set can do justice to the size.
  4. This is great news but I can't help noticing that this is yet another Lego Ideas set, like the Snow White cottage set, which was rejected but ends up becoming an official set after all. Finally we'll get Lilo. Jumba and Pleakley would be pretty hard to adapt into minifigs but the set would feel incomplete without them. I'm expecting Nani and maybe David or Cobra Bubbles. Possibly some of the experiments from the TV series and sequels like Angel, Stitch's love interest who gets a whole lot of merchandise in Japan. I hope they include Lilo's bike, her Scrump doll, and the Ugly Duckling book with some little ducklings.
  5. I think the roster was already confirmed sometime back featuring only 10 characters: Professor X, Magneto, Wolverine, Storm, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Beast, Rogue, Gambit, and Morph. But it's not completely impossible for Deadpool to be featured because we know he was originally intended to be part of the Daily Bugle but was vetoed for being a Fox character (alongside the Human Torch and Iceman).
  6. Maybe a smaller set with Jack as Sandy Claws (especially if that minifig is cut from the upcoming set) in his sleigh with the skeleton reindeer. But I agree, what we're getting here is probably a one-and-done. I'm still hoping we'll get future Winnie the Pooh sets because the set designers were quite enthusiastic about continuing that line with more characters and their houses. Thank you both for confirming all that. That's a good sign especially considering how many of the Disney sets were upgraded. I can see Jack in his Sandy Claws outfit and regular Santa both being scrapped. If we get Oogie Boogie and the Mayor instead of them, I'd be happy. I feel Zero is too iconic for him to be omitted. I'd wager to say he's as much a given as Sally is.
  7. Same here. I don't usually like the long legged minifigs but it suits Jack here. And for anyone who prefers the regular-sized minfigs, there's always an easy fix by swapping him out for the original. I'm in the same boat. Never been a huge fan of TNBC outside of Kingdom Hearts, but the project submission was so well done that I feel this will be a must-have. Oogie wasn't in the original design so I wonder if there's ever been a Lego Ideas project that featured a completely new minifigure not in the approved submission. It would feel very strange for him to not be included though. Same with the Mayor although he has such unique proportions, that I'm not sure he would look all that great as a minifig.
  8. This is an X-Men show, not an Avengers show. Short of a spin-off, that's highly unlikely to happen. There's been a lot more speculation and interest in a Spider-Man revival show. Lego doesn't have the rights to any of the non-MCU Spider-Man films right? Like Spider-Verse, Venom, Morbius, Madame Web, Kraven, etc?
  9. Another thing to keep in mind is that the X-Men '97 showrunner, Beau DeMayo, confirmed that Marvel would not allow Deadpool to show up in X-Men '97. If Marvel's restricting his use in the show, there's no way they're going to let him appear in merch for the show.
  10. Leakers online said it wouldn't be a modular. Also it was stated on here that the 10 figure lineup is the six characters you mentioned plus Jean Grey, Gambit, Professor X, and Morph.
  11. The Home Alone set has almost a thousand more pieces. So I guess this X-Mansion won't be as big as that. Or maybe the back won't be covered up.
  12. Deadpool was supposed to be in the Daily Bugle set. Marvel said no, presumably because he was a Fox character like Iceman and the Human Torch. This seems to indicate that Lego didn't have a problem including him back then, especially since they also said they were specifically able to use Daredevil and Punisher in the Daily Bugle, despite their R-rated content, because this wasn't a regular set. So if we get another D2C Spider-Man set, like Oscorp, Deadpool's best chance would be to appear in that.
  13. Yeah, the FF have had it way worse. Outside of Doctor Doom, we've never got any of the FF characters in minifig form. And now we're not even going to get the Silver Surfer. That seems likely. I played the first two games but not MSH2.
  14. Interesting. What a shame especially because now we won't get a Prince Phillip minifigure or Aurora in a blue dress. Another reason why the Disney Castle should have featured them instead and that whole set is such a missed opportunity.
  15. Is there a reason Lego hasn't made another Marvel video game since Marvel Super Heroes 2? Like you said, it's really weird they never made an Infinity Saga game.
  16. That's not what Hugh Jackman said though. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/hugh-jackman-prisoners_n_3896582 In an interview with The Huffington Post, Jackman revealed everyone was on-board with the cameo but it didn't come to pass as no one could find his costume. In the first "Spider-Man" -- Kevin Feige reminded me of this -- we really tried to get me to come on and do something, whether it was a gag or just to walk through the shot or something. The problem was, we couldn't find the suit. The suit was stuck in some thing. And so when they were in New York when I was there, we couldn't get it together. The X-Mansion set can be updated with the 10 minifigure roster leaked here. Spider-Man 4 is currently set for 2025. I can see Sony pushing that because all their other Spider-Man movies (ex. Madame Web) flop except for the ones that actually feature the real Spider-Man. Blade has been in development hell so long and constantly gets revamped so I doubt even 2026 is feasible.
  17. That's what I was thinking. If we can get Eeyore, Dumbo, and Bambi, I can't see why we couldn't get Pumbaa as a similar mold. I think the main problem with the Lion King characters is that each character would more or less require a new mold.
  18. I know Tom's contract is very limited with the last few appearances he's got left. I can't imagine one would be used up for Venom: The Last Dance. There's been lots of rumors or hype about Andrew Garfield returning in a Venom crossover movie so wonder if it might be him. Tobey Maguire is highly likely to return. Especially so there can be a team-up between him and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine (especially since Wolverine was supposed to cameo in the original Spider-Man movie). He can come back with the symbiote suit for whatever story purposes they contrive. I agree. I'm sick of Miles, Spider-Gwen, and Goblin in basically every set. Spidey had an iconic cast before them. Where is Mary Jane, Gwen (the non-powered one), Harry Osborn, Norman Osborn, Flash Thompson, Liz Allan, Eddie Brock, Glory Grant, etc.? Why not include his original Amazing Friends, Iceman and Firestar, in a set. Even if we need more Spider-variants, then why not Spider-Girl, who had the longest comic book run for a solo Marvel superheroine? What about Renew Your Vows Peter and MJ with their family or the current Ultimate Spider-Man with an alive Ben Parker? Ben Reilly in his Spider-Man suit is another choice.
  19. I think it's more complicated for Jessica. The Lego designers confirmed she's one of four characters they wanted to include in the Daily Bugle but were told no by Marvel. Spider-Gwen's popularity has made Marvel more or less sideline Jessica so that Gwen becomes the definitive Spider-Woman. Which is even more jarring since in the 70s and 2000s, Jessica was Marvel's leading lady. what I've heard is that Sony wants SP4 to be another multiverse movie after the success of NWH. Disney wants it to be a lower-scale street-level movie.
  20. Dr. Doom, Loki, and Dracula fought the X-Men in the comics (and all courted Storm) so at least they can be used as X-villains.
  21. Marvel villains are usually expendable and ditched after a single movie. Very few catch on like Loki or Thanos and part of the reason those two worked is because they were allowed to exist in multiple films. Meanwhile Red Skull, Ultron, and Hela are one and done. This is why the most prominent villain minfigs are the Spidey villains although even then, it's the same ones appearing over and over. I don't know if part of the problem is also that Disney owns Marvel because Disney has mostly turned away from inventing new villains. And even classic ones like Maleficent and Cruella get redone as feminist heroes fighting the patriarchy.
  22. Hawkeye is also confirmed to be getting a S2 so I can see that boosting his chances for appearing in more sets and getting his own mech. Ant-Man, for all the reasons you listed plus his film being a flop, probably won't be getting any individual sets. Honestly, I can see Captain Marvel getting phased out of merchandise now as well since her sequel is officially the biggest movie disaster in history.
  23. The Sanctum was even worse with only 9 minifigures total. If anything, that convinces me even more that the X-Mansion will probably only have 10 minifigures. Magneto's inclusion makes sense though because of X-Men '97 finale spoilers
  24. All of those would be great choices. I'd love to see the Goblin Queen with baby Nathan as well if there was room. And since CMF Series 2 brought in Agatha from WandaVision, that means they don't have a problem going back to older shows for more minifigures. I'd love to see Strange Supreme and Reformed Hela from What If?
  25. That may also explain why they didn't go the modular route. There's so many rooms to cover between Xavier's office, the Danger Room with observation deck, Beast's lab, the medical infirmary, the war room (featuring Cerebro), holding cells, X-Jet hangar, etc. That's not even accounting for living quarters like the living room, bedrooms, kitchen, etc. And maybe a classroom even though that isn't really a thing in the show.
