Mystery Castle - Day 10
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Why the, suspecting the Guards? If you have suspicions please ask questions and give reasons, no point saying I suspect X and then leaving it at that!, I agree that one of the Guards could be a Traitor, that by no measure means all the guards. I will be continuing my Day investigations, Byron got stuck between days, I am glad to see a great lot of investigating going on and also to start seeing leads to people, even if only vague. ((I have been studying for exams, still am, I have quite a bit to cover, so if you do not hear from me for a little while please excuse this)) The whole Marcus thing was seeing him but not being able to confirm an identity, his presence made people suspect him, as he niether stepped in when he saw it happening nor seemed to pushed to find the killer. -
Knockoff/Clone/Imitation Brand Pirate Sets
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I own this Ship as well. It is two "BSB" sets sold together with black string/rope and different sails that you need to cut out. The instructions are on a CD rom (you get enough left over parts to MOC another ship). The ship looks great when in front of you and i think you would find it hard to call it short, in my opinion it is a better size than most galleon ships we see on this site, however taller sails and masts would not hurt it. if you want more blurry pics look at my Meander, thats the ship only paper sails. Meander can be found here -
Enlighten Brick Boats Review
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Admiral Blockbeard's topic in LEGO Pirates
To be fair this is a Lego fan site, and considering some find the thought of these Clone brands sickening due to the Moral Aspect it is understandable that hey are 'outlawed'. I feel it is a shame that some people are not more open minded to the alternative however, their opinion is theirs and their right. I agree with most other reviews here, these bricks are a good addition to Lego as they provide colour variety and click well. However I don't want to turn this into a Debate with others. Thanks for sharing my opinion. Regards Cpt. PB -
Enlighten Brick Boats Review
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Admiral Blockbeard's topic in LEGO Pirates
Yes they do shoot and come with plenty of Ammo! I must say the cannons are almost perfect, I have got some Lego cannons as well. I shall do a shoot off and let you know which fire better! Also I should add, that I had some friends over the other day and they were equally impressed by my clone ships as they were of my Lego ship. As time goes on I am glad I picked them up when i did. I only wish I could use the bricks in competitions Regards Cpt. PB -
Mystery Castle - Day 10
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wow day one took a long time... here are Byron's findings... Day One… Dead Loyalists Lord Martin – VOTES mike, last minute points at fishy Mike (a servant) – VOTES Martin Ernest the Chef – Says it was the wine not the food, VOTES Martin Grim (head of the royal guard) –Maid Chef and Celler keeper, Poison (does not vote) General Spencer VOTES Martin (after condemned) Daniel (a young squire) – Not Active Damien (a doctor and herbalist) – Talks in riddles (Does not Vote) Dead Traitors (or friends of traitors) Calvin (a local fisherman) – Cook and Doctor, Lord Savril VOTE, Doctor VOTES, Mike VOTES Doctor…votes too much!... VOTES Martin General Marcus – Not someone whom directly gave it to the king (specifies maid, then generalizes), Poison, Lord Savril and Spencer VOTES Martin (after condemned) VOTES Lord Savril as joke Lord Ash – Points to Servant, Maid or Chef, Poison, Maid again, Votes Martin Lady Suzanne – wants to refocus on the maid, VOTES Mike (it looks like she thinks he is the maid) stays with mike after learning she had wrong identity. Guards Fred (a soldier in the royal guard) – VOTES Martin Michael (a soldier in the royal guard) VOTES Martin (after condemned) Lieutenant Byron (of the royal guard) – Not active Towns folk Kyle (the castle torturer/executioner) – VOTES, doctor, VOTES Martin Friar Brown - VOTES Martin under direction from Rotrigious Mary (a maid) – Generals or Lords and doctor, Poison VOTES Martin (after condemned) Paul (the cellar keeper) – doctor, poison now a Lord, VOTES Martin Royal Connection Lord Savril – VOTES, Doctor VOTES, Martin Rotrigous (kings advisor) – Chef, Servant, cook, the doctor (as well as Dragonator, Chicken farmers and pygmies) VOTES doctor VOTES Martin Lord Gary – VOTES doctor, VOTES Martin (after condemned) Interesting facts of the day… Mary requests to know who is who, she is confused Marcus defends Mary Hinckley was more like a broken record than a castle member Paul defends his wine Fred announces he saw someone in the kings Quarters, this would suggest night actions… Kyle suggests it’s not poison but blood, Fred later supports this… Rotrigous says he thinks Mary had little to do with the food but dusty curtains, Grim appears to agree Majiko stutters Women and their bloody herbs Marcus wants us to all reveal who we are… Grim suggests Lord Savril knows more than he is letting on Mary suggests this is key to finding the killer. Calvin and Rotrigious vote then unvote each other in fun Paul says he hears snippets of what the guards say… so Paul does have a kind of night action, he hears what those on duty are saying. Mike and Michael want to hear from the doctor before killing him Ash, sets up Mike for day two, after voting for Martin Friar seeks Lady Suzanne for questioning while a smitten Ritz defends Mary, calls her an idiot… ouch Marcus donates Gold Coins Most voted for the Doctor as he was not playing then changed once he had confirmed. The condemned person was Lord Martin a Loyalist Make of this what you will, I know I have, Paul and Adam need to do some explaining... Fred and Kyle seam to have (even though different users back then) mirror each other and make similar choices. Daniel and Byron are no where to be seen... Mary seems to be hunted by some traitors, yet protected by others, while her confusion on who is who leads me to believe she is a Loyalist as a Traitor would have a greater understanding, knowing whom other traitors are. Michael seems to stay below the radar and the friar shows early hints to towards him not being loyal only to the king, but also the "church" note this does not mean he is loyalist/traitor... Rotrigous and Savy have begun their fun run around, entertaining with tom foolery, and Gary is concerned over the rash killing of a Lord... Suspects of the day Byron - not posting, Why were you not posting??? (I was not joined yet, I think the user had not logged on during the day...) Fred - Night Actions???, Working with kyle??? Kyle - Working with Fred??? Paul - Do you indeed always hear things from Guards on duty, if so why have we only ever heard of this during Marcus??? -

Interesting day we have here... Byron get outof bed! But it's so COLD! No, it's too cold maybe in the afternoon Fine I will help *I kick Byron all the way back to day one..* Once he is done can someone double check his work and confirm that what he says actually happened, he does have a good imagination... *As Byron is flying out to day one he screams for his cat to come too* Send me sprikles *I kick sprinkles into day nine so i know Byron will do his job!* -

Mystery Castle - Day 9

I am in a pickle, I have no idea if I should change my vote to Paul to make him the leader with 4 votes and have Kyle only two, problem is I suspect Kyle more... I guess if worst comes to worst there is always tomorrow. Unvote, Trexxen/Kyle. Vote, Commanderbly42/Paul Perhaps the ever silent did not speak up for Kyle, Savy could share his opinion before we all sleep? Welcome back Mary, I thought I remembered you going somewhere, I thought it was a business trip , Writing camp is kind of business any way , Now that your back and catching up, could you please share with us any explanation you have of known Traitors defending your early accusations? was Inertia Batbricks friend in real-life, was it because they wanted to split focus, do you have any extra reasonings? or was it because you are a Traitor and they wanted you to live!?! ((Dragonator, I have been doing the thinking thing, if there is only one traitor left, we have already won, as he can never gain the majority, and if it came to the last two people, aka, we never kill him, each would vote for the other... that is unless all the dead are invited to vote in that round... or am I thinking too far ahead?)) -
Mystery Castle - Day 9
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
A reasonable addition to thought you have provided us Kyle. So the Friar has a position much like Lord Ash, It seams even greater now in my mind he is a Loyalist, so another, other than you is investigating in the night, and this person works for the Friar. Adam and myself have sworn to not have night actions, so this leaves Quarryman, Lord Gary, Mary, Paul, as maybe investigators, most likely Paul as he is the only one who has given information from a night. (note Is is a protector, Savril a bonker and Kyle an investigator, the friar a Lord Ash type leader (most likely of loyal standards)) Friar, is Paul your information seeker, and has the information gathered so far led to your convictions of those that are loyalists or traitors? Kyle I would unvote you if I truely thought that the killing off of members would stop with your death, however I am sure we can find a way to kill the rest of your traitorous friends after your death. Rotrigrious can vouch for your powers but not for where your allegiance lies, from his quite reasonable deductions earlier, to which you have not explained away he considers your allegiances of a traitorous manner. Michael the day is getting dark, to remove your vote only allows for a random death from Dragonator, odds worse of catching a traitor than voting for Kyle. (a day is five normal days yes?) Dragonator, do you know if Mary is back from this business trip? Fred, whether or not Kyle is correct on what shield he used (a safe bet if you ask me), it has little to do with what allegiance he has... He has asked he be saved by someone not here for an obvious reason, the message will never come in time, so he is not convicted. Fred, whether or not Kyle is correct on what shield he used (a safe bet if you ask me), it has little to do with what allegiance he has... Thank you Fred for your words, I was quite tired and had been studying all day. I would like to just quickly say that when I type in Word, the i Automatically changes into a I, thus when I have been using word excessively and then come to the forums I tend to not capitalize my Is. Sorry if I was too easily offended, in RL I am not having a very fun time and have been sensitive to criticisms, no excuse for my eager angry voting. I UNVOTE ADAM/FRED (sorry) VOTE Trexxen/Kyle I agree with IS, Mary has no practical involvement in the murder of the king. As for Mary having slept around, I get the impression that was not really of her control, and last I heard was on a business trip. If she is back she better start talking soon, other wise we will have to find her a place in the conspiracy Ash was the planner, the head of operations, Marcus was the muscle, Suzanne was the Poisoner, Calvin the act do'er Whom is missing from this, maybe an information gather, I believe the Friar innocent, and as the killers of the night were split between the teams why not split the investigators unfortunately I think another Lord, or someone up in the ranks and two from the military and common folk are traitors, when I have the time I will go over my complete thoughts, like I did another day, splitting military folk, Lords and commoners -

(-off-topic-) ((Adam, i have read those "guide lines" numerous times, have you had any other time to complain about my behaviour in these forums? I have also been around long enough to know that the Admin around here judge when the warnings are given out, this is to stop some members stepping out of place and making this community feel less welcoming and friendly, something not written in the 'rules' but something that is understood when being part of this on-line adult community, i am going to bite my tongue now...just know i had done so many quotes due to my not being here for so long and i was referring to quotes expanding 3 pages, and for those that do not go back and reread whats been said it makes it easier for them, and spelling has never been a strong point so thanks for pointing it out, i was in a rush and did not get the opportunity to go over my post like i normally do plus the no editing rule never helps, i will go and feel insecure and unloved in the basement now... bite my tongue... prrrph, perhaps however you should check here, specifically the trade section, Dang tongue come back here!)) (/-off-topic-) "what I've heard lately..." what on earth have you been hearing lately, i see nothing in these days that make me suspect myself again, maybe you have night actions? oh, but wait we see you have taken the same way as Calvin the fisherman, the GUILTY, the KILLER of my king! sign away your death to me you have, while i suspect Paul i suspect your "i am not guilty plee" soo much more, the friar hardly lifted a finger and you have jumped to this... only the condemned have gone to such lengths! my earlier deductions had you searched for them were who i was trusting, now if you some how missed my big explanation a few days ago, the people i was trusting was the Friar, Lord Savril and Rotrigous... however, they have again been restored. Friar i respect you are part of a secret group, perhaps without actually saying it straight you could allude further to this group? never mind friar, he may not bend over for you, here i will bend him for you *Byron grabs Fred by the back and bends him over for the friar to gleefully place the badge.* He was fishing for reactions... pressing buttons, now thats fine to push characters buttons for reactions... i vote ADAM /FRED for reasons i do not like people who stir, when all you want is clear water to see things clearly, it is simply to hard to catch fish with your hands when the water is to muddy. Beyond this reasoning his guilty nature is far too great for me to ignore. If you want motive, maybe he killed the king for a reaction, after all some just like to see the world burn. further beyond this we have new news from Paul an actual quote, i recognize Dragonators flare anywhere, with one member who sticks up for Marcus saying he was on duty... now I the Lt have no duties... a guard however... if Adam is proven innocent i will then consider Paul a dead man. can we please stop quoting Dragonator, it is against the games fun and opens it for a liar. You are a green cheese your name is Byron you are not a traitor or loyalist you are in fact a journalist for the african daily elephant poo. its italics clearly Dragonator PM'ed me with it... this old grumpy man is now going to sleep! -
Mystery Castle - Building Challenge VOTING

My favourite creations are, TPRU's, IS's, WhiteFang's and ISC's TinyPiesRUs, i thought his psycologist idea was quite funny and it was unexpected. I comemd Trexxen on his entry with it being the only digital entry and unlike others he did not let the lack of bricks deter him entering. WhiteFang your entry is the closest to a proper Vig in my opinion, differet highet of the characters and the inclusion of the cast shot. IS, interesting story, which even melded into the day's story line... ISC, i like the the general look of this creation and the clever use of some of the bricks, i like mostly the "sick" part Zepher, I think you uses the least amount of bricks but still got the same amount of story out of them as other entries congrats on being the most efficient entry Adam, the photos were a bit dark and do your creation little justice, i like your design and admire the fact you set up its own web page Dovchenko, the only person to have a non grey castle, i like the brick built dragon head, great work. i think it was a shame more people did not enter, however 9 in 21 is not too bad odds thats 3 in 7 so close to half Regards, Cpt PB -

You are both right i was on the loo, when i unfortunately feel in! i was attempting to heave my self out... my screams for help were taken for gastronomic purposes... I believe you are doing a fine job of questioning! indeed! however i have personally seen little need of motive of taking the throne as Dragonator will be doing so, regardless of who lives and who dies, motive now more lies in Who may want a new king, out with the old in the new type thing, maybe the old king was not persuaded easily by blackmail friar? I am now off, its all yours ((i am sick and preparing for my second round of university exams so please excuse my uncharacteristic lack of posting, if you check when i had last logged in it was not since this topic had started my apologies)) I am reminded of your vouching for Batbricks movements, i will cast a watchful eye over you. ((i hope i already made this clear)) trapped in a toilet... Adam, you have been working hard, i was impressed by what you have written and you have made me question some of my earlier deductions. now if you excuse Byron for a little more i have to finish cutting him out of the loo... ((exams are on the 8th... f i fail them i will have wasted $1600+. so please excuse me for a little while, i will still post as much as i can!!)) a note to all those wanting to use the loo, the wood has been removed as to get byron out, please remember this and do not fall all the way into the pit below... maybe thats where majiko got too... -

I just wanted to say a few things regarding the fencing contest. 1. I am in real life extremely respectful to women and would never consider doing or partaking let alone supporting a competition where the prize was a night with full benefits with insert name here... 2. I did indeed roll a dice, it was not set up, i am a man of my word, when i say i rolled the dice, i rolled the dice, i expected Byron to lose, it was a surprise to me that he made it through. - Byron however i can not vouch for, he gets confused alot 3. I only did this for fun, there was no hidden messages 4. Byron does like Mary more than an object, he was not intending anything beyond a romantic dinner and midnight stroll... 5. Where did the game of stones go? I wrote this as i felt my (the real me) strong beliefs were misunderstood, if you knew me in RL, you would understand my need to clarify. What is said in Mystery castle is a joke and a game, i do not take the 'insults personally' however if i or anybody else starts to cross the line please let us know... I direct most of my insults towards myself or clearly show that i am joking, i hope no-one has misunderstood anything i have said in the game. I felt that some assumptions had been made about me in real life rather than my character, sorry to have clarified my position in such a wordy manner. I could be wrong, thought it best to be safe. welcome back ladies and gents and glad to hear we still have a show... now onto the Grand Final... Savy v Byron best of three! Savy rolls a disapointing 2, and Byron rolls an impressive 6 Commentary of the fight Lord Savril, inhis over confident ways opens his chest open for Byron to have a free shot, a mistake as Byron is taking his time, with this one, no way is he going to foil the grand final, he lunges at savril, who moves to dodge the unsuspecting Byron, would have worked if he had been on aim, instead Lord Savril now found himself square hit in target by Byrons sword, which would have missed by a foot... Savy rolls a decent 4, Byron rolls a 4... sigh... Commentary on the fight, on the count of three you may begin... 1... 2... 3... both go flying towards one another and both hit the tagets at the same time, lord savril manages to land however, while Byron crashes into some indecently positioned armor... Savy rolls a 4, Byron rolls a, WHAT!?!?!?!? 4... Argh THE SAME HAPPENS AGAIN... the decider... Savy rolls a.... 3 and Byron rolls a drum roll please... a 3... oh thats it the dice quits... were fliping a coin... heads it byrons tails its savrils win... Heads it is, Byron is the winner! *the crowd coughs* a random shout is heard... "RIGGED" i assure you it was not rigged, now byron go collect your prize! what prize? you were fighting for a night with Mary... *whispers in his ear* Oh but i got plenty of cat, why would i... ohh... had i known that i might have tried in this fight... I hate that guy... ((random fun is good)) now any one care to tell me how to play stones Edit i misspelled a word and it was almost cursing... so i edited... -

wow, yo guys like days to go fast... allow me to restate what i have before, i am going to vote the lady, however with Dragonator away and little chance of the next day coming early, can we please not have a long night? let us have some fun with our characters. You never know a Traitor might slip up and give us someone to vote for tomorrow! beyond the Lady, what plans do we have?? none! so let the festivities begin! I VOTE LAD... MRGHPH, pgg raggh Did you not just hear what i said... I kind of fell asleep... You can vote that later Byron, for now, there is a fencing match to be arranged, first round is, oh whats this there is a new entry for marys love... okay, that makes round one... (it is fitting we sought this out with whom has greater control of thier sword) Fred v Savy Roty v Byron then Fred v Byron Roty v Savy then Savy v Byron Fred v Roty those with two wins each will win... and go through to the next round...the grand final!!! ((now we just need a way to to the fights...)) i shall fetch some dice! the highest roll wins, round ONE, Fred rolls a... very impressive five! beat tha savy... Savy rolls a... get out of here! a six! commentary of fight... Fred shows good foot work as the pair circle each other, he makes a lunge at Savy, hitting his arm, his great big movement has left his soft chested target open for attack, Savy pounces on the opportunity and lands a bulls eye. Roty v Byron Roty rolls a... phh maybe Byron has a chance, 2 Byron rolls a, 4 Commentary of the fight... Roty is circling the over confident Byron, you know im a soldier i use my sword every day!, Byron, starts swishing his sword about as if he was some heroic warrior, Roty sees an opening and goes for it, only for Byron to lose his balance and make him miss and by some freak accident finds his sword hard pressed against Roty's Target Fred v Byron Fred rolls a five! huzzah he is good Byron rolls a What, you could not write a script like this... a five Commentary of the fight both are putting pride on the line, both are of the royal guard and the loser will for ever be considered the lesser man. they ready their swords, and start to circle, the intensity in the air rising, they seem to be equally matched, it is apparent they both use the same techniques tought by the guard... time for you to see something Grim never taught you... Byron leaps into the air like a ballerina and spins like a tornado, only looking more like a hippo chasing his tail, with out warning he shoots his sword out to hit Fred on the target, only to realize that Fred sword was planted on his own target, it seams that Fred had put his sword out, by extending his arm, something Byron was not expecting, the slow painting reply shows that they hit at the same time. DRAW Roty v Savy Roty rolls a laughable 1 Savy smirks then rolls a 1 huh, are these dice cursed ((i am actually rolling these, i am amazed!)) Commentary of the fight After some talk of going to kill each other both fighters throw their swords at each other and start to fight each other hand to hand... fred and Byron pick up the swords and throw them back to their owners, only to find they both hit the targets of the fighters at the same time... DRAW So far... Roty with 1/2, Fred 1/2, Savy 1, 1/2 and Byron 1, 1/2... any bodies game... and wow look at that it worked out so well... (i love this dice) Savy v Byron Savy gets a 4, oh dear Byron... Byron gets a... 3 that was so rigged! Was not... Commentary of the fight, Byron uses that same tactic as before, wildly swinging the sword any which way, before charging at Savy, Savy crouches down and launches the stampeding Byron over his shoulders, landing on his back, Savy walks up and casually stabs at the target, saying something about being to rash, Byron claims all innocence in giving Mary a rash Fred v Roty Fred rolls a... 1 Roty pats him on the back and rolls a 4 Commentary of the fight, Fred sick of Byron's luck decides to also swish his sword around, Roty having versed this before blocks the wild swing and sends Fred's sword flying out a window, he then chases down a fleeing Adam and spears him just within the target boundaries, his first attempt was less successful landing a shot on Adams bum... scores are now, fred 1/2, Byron 1, 1/2, Roty 1, 1/2 and Savy 2, 1/2 the Lord is through to the finals, however sudden death is required for the finals... Roty v Byron for a place in the finals... Roty rolls a modest 3 Byron rolls a 6, oh my... Commentary of the fight, Roty has his eyes on revenge after being so unlucky the last time they fought, Byron however has again been filled with confidence and charges at Rotrigous, Roty having seen Savy do it thought it wise to to the same, and it would have worked, only this time Byron lost his footing and crashed into Roty like an arrow from Robbin's bow. the clash made Roty hit his head hard on the floor and awoke to see a gloating Byron standing above him with his sword placed in the center of the target. Saying something no body understood... Look what the chicken hatched up this morning... yes thank you Byron... he walked over to the finals arena. Byron v Savy! Finals coming soon after a word from our sponsors... -
A enjoyable MOC to say the least! great work. I can easily see a few stories coming from this layout. I like the steps but agree that one or two plants to the side of the sets would improve it. Mystery Castle - Day 8
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
with Dragonator, away there is no need to rush in a vote of death for the lady... however the death of another loyalist is quite concerning... consider this there is eleven of us left, if there are five traitors left, we are one mistake away from dead even! but we got Marcus since my last maths so hopefully there is only four left! I do suspect the lady, quite strongly, however as i have said numerous times her garden is not secret, and Lord Ash might have tainted her flowers for his use... For Dragonator to have made Husband and wife both traitors to me would be like getting a two in one deal, and thats just too good a deal for my liking... this said if others think she is our main concern, there is no holding back my vote, she maybe a Lady, but our King must be avenged. however IS did babysit her all-night with out to much untoward happening... As always, i would like to pose a few questions to a number of members of our fine castle. Commanderbly42/paul. why were you so fast to defend Marcus' where abouts the night he killed a loyalist? Adam/Fred, Are you still angry about the whole poo, thing Zepher/Mary, will you reconsider my proposal, the nights are ever so lonely! Trexxen/Kyle, any news to report on those you "investigated" Hinkley,Impy/Lord Savril, Rotrigous, i challenge you both to a fencing match, winner wins a night with Mary! or if you like we could share Agentrick57/Lady S, Do you have any information for us claiming your innocence Brickster/Friar, how does your leg heal, without the doctor here who shall care to your needs Quarryman/Mick, any news from watch last night? any disturbances? no deaths to report, is such good news. I Scream Clone/ Lord Gary, i bought you a new eye... well okay i found it in Majikos stuff... it does look much better than your current one, your likely to get nothing stuck in it!!! oh and ahh hmm, what say you to a game of stones. Cpt. PB/Byron, whats for breakfast, i am starving! Well some one said Kyle needs more meet, i'll head over to Impy's vig and wip up Majiko's special steak for breaky with bacon and eggs side, with freshly squeezed OJ... now were is Majiko i need him to go fetch me that meat! Thank you for your time... Now i want answers! -
Great use of the treasure chest lid! as well al those wheels witht he soldiers hats! i love this creation, it looks like a whale ship, interesting design with the upside down ship hull. the red looks fine, a bit out of place but still fine! Regards Cpt PB

Which pieces would you like to see in future pirate sets?
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Pirates
I would like to see some thing completely new... pieces that fit over a mini fig head, as in around its circumference like an eyepatch and hair pieces that can sit below the hat, this can create great diversity in the range of figs... but that is not likely to happen so... i want to see the return of a compass, sextant, and the introduction of rum bottles!!!
