This would be great for any Pirate fan, the extraback pack for the soldiers, some spare owes for the row boats, a female face for a wench, and a rather simple raft for that unlucky pirate lost at sea! Over all a nice set, I am a little confused by the dynamite though... perhaps an easy way to go fishing or perhaps to clear a rock in the forseen future? I will not say what was written thats up to the Friar to share, but now with his split loyalties and decieving post changes I am questioning how much I can trust him... Okay, so I was thinking I would like to share with you why I "Love the Brick" Seeing as I wanted to, I supposed a few of you would also like to share your, over all or specific moments you love the brick. To start off, let me just say a quick thanks to all the people on this forum, I have felt welcomed accepted and some times even supported. The people on this forum have helped me far beyond what they know... Now the Love of the brick starts with a story, I have not told on the forum yet, I have tried to keep it as low profile as I could. Christmas eve 2007, I was sent to hospital with suspected cancer in a critical state. I had a 4cm mass constricting the flow out of my main arterial out of my heart. Christmas morning I awoke in my hospital room already feeling better than I had for the last few months. Over the time between then and Mid January, I had a bone marrow test, five needle biopsy(s) in my neck, key hole surgery and finally a Cardiotherasic, from which I now have a 20cm scar on my back. then from January till July, I was having Chemotherapy treatment. The reason for this story is in many ways I felt trapped, stuck in the house for the majority of the time and not able to move around as much as I would have liked. One day I decided to check out how much those BSB's where I loved as a kid, to see if I could cheer my self up. The boat was expensive, so I went to Wiki, and that brought me here (Pirate Lego on Wiki has a link to here). Also slightly before finding this sight I found a cheaper alternative to the BSB, a clone ship, I brought one then when i confirmed the quality I bought seven more ... All for the cost of two BSB's... This ignited my passion again for the Brick, but I have been doing some thinking, "why do I love the brick so much?" The answer I have come up with is it provides freedom, it provided an escape for my pain, it entertained me endlessly when I should have been bored and lonely. It also gave my a world beyond my four walls. The ships gave me a great ocean of creativity. the forum gave me all the interaction with others I needed. So to me the brick is a form in which I could achieve that in life I could not, and thats why I love it. Also a nice ending to this, my treatment has been over now for a month and it was a great success, all signs of infection are gone and the masses in my chest has been reduced to a quarter of what it was! So there is my story, you will notice it is not a "what brought you out of your dark ages thread" like Phes's (I did a search for a topic like this, I could not find one, if there is please merge them). Your story does not need to be soo big a story, or so serious, it could be an artistic expression or anything, let me know I am curious to know your story. Regards Cpt. PB

I have read through the summarys of days posted yesterday, I am so stumped! I at best can only suspect Kyle, on the other hand if he is loyal he is the key to finding the traitors. I am attempting to wiegh up the guilty signs with the possibility of a white night in the ending days. I wish so much that Kyle had been proven a loyalist, or that our Grim was still alive! Majiko please bring Grim back to life and bring Adam back, I miss them... I still reserve my vote for now, I need to do some heavy thinking and investigation.

And I thought Byron was the smelly one Rotrigous speaks blocky quite well, I did indeed mean putting a name to a user, to further that point how do we know each character is actually that member they could have swapped!!! Nah that is too far! Also beyond that the Traitors would want to know what powers people have. I suppose we can kill Kyle after more "investigating", I UNVOTE Kyle/Trexxen, a lot of talk has been happening as to tonights happenings but I hate to break it to you that it is still today and we need to go after a likely suspect, unfortunately with most assuming Kyle is telling the truth that means we are going to kill one of the four he says we should! Very dangerous if my suspicions are well placed, however we have been wrong in the past so all I can do is pray, we do not kill another loyalist. Myself included in this four, I am concerned that he will indeed bring death to a loyalist, his vote currently has changed to one he hopes we will follow, Paul has said she is busy!?! Where did this information come from? I do not recall it... I hope that people do not see my thoughts as accusations, they are my reasonings, they are my searching for information, I have no night activity, so the best I can do is to investigate by day, I share with you only speculation, thus what I say is not going to be 100% correct, only as correct as I can manage to deduct with reasoning.

The way I did it was to go to a Toy Swap Convention, I asked around about Lego, I heard a name pop up a few times and went to go see him, He had Lego, but did not sell on-line all that often, we started to deal. Another time I went to the markets, looking for people that would buy second hand Lego off all those Mums looking for a quick dollar, I came across a guy who sells a lot of "vintage toys" and other toys he had a small amount of Lego but also knew this guy I had found and often dealt the Lego to him. Finally I came across an actual Lego stall in a Market, he has connections to somewhere but does not reveal them... He had a Brick link store and said I could buy them on-line then come round and pick up the order, NO POSTAGE... Another great way is to pull out the phone book and call second hand toy stores and ask if they have any Lego in stock or if they know of any where Lego is likely to be. Mention you are looking for something specific, you never know your luck! Some AFOL's do not even know they are one, they can have a huge collection and never surface on-line or sell on bricklink or join a club, but these collectors need to buy from somewhere, so I start my search with the sellers! Hope that all helps and makes sense. BTW I do marketing so I generally think out side the box when it comes to getting the product I want... Regards, Cpt. PB

Ask around your local second hand/ collectors toy specialists and ask if they know any local Lego heads, Often they all communicate and know who likes what, these guys often have huge amount of Lego sitting around doing nothing and are happy to find someone to sell to! Often they will know the market rate and sell it to you at that price WITH NO POSTAGE! thats the best bet out side of Ebay and Bricklink, thats how I am getting my Soldiers and Adelaide is much smaller than California's big cities! Next is to get my Sister to do it in Sydney and a Friend in Alice Springs!

I disagree, I have done suspicious things, only they are innocent! I have no shame in disclosing information, as it is the one thing Traitors can not have out in the open! Did I just read this right? You wanted a fast death for someone and you voted for someone other than the person who needed one vote to be condemned, that just does not make sence to me! Since Day one I think some one has been "dragging" us along, DRAGonator I could not agree more, review needs to be done. Thinking, Logic and careful deliberation needs to be the focus of today. I think we shoud investigate each member one by one, include all criminating evidence on each, Ignoring what people have done to "un"criminate themselves, these Traitors are hiding well, lets make it well hard for them to hide Byron where have you been! Kyle, and Savy are my most suspected, with Kyle saying Quarryman/Michael is a loyalist I now dubt him more than before, but perhaps that is what he wants, in my mind one of these two if not both are Traitors, most likely Kyle as a Merc and Savy as a Traitor. With all the evidence we have I think these two are the most suspicious. I think we should investigate things further however before deciding today. We are slowly getting less in numbers and need to be careful it cannot be long before the Traitors are out numbering us. Rotrigous, Adam did show signs of being Traitorous, and was well framed by those that are true Traitors. If we are cautious and walk carefully, we can beat these Traitors
