Which is the best sail colour scheme?
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Captain Zuloo's topic in LEGO Pirates
I have gone foe the blue and white option, I prefer white paper sails over any of the Lego sails, custom canvas are however by far the best sails you can get. I just do not have the drive to go to the extra effort when paper is so easy. Regards, Cpt. PB -
Imperials - cause you can always turn into a pirate after! But being a pirate you could never turn yourself into a Soldier. Besides I always like being on the winning side. Regards, Cpt. PB

Wow 20 mini figs... that is a cool set, the price I saw was $420 from "missing brick"... Thanks for posting this question, otherwise I would have never know it existed. Regards, Cpt. PB

Could be fun to include the current moderators/Staff etc... Have a mention of the huge competitions we have, like the pirate contest. Perhaps Hinckleys radio interview is a good source of information as well. Have a screen shot of the forum page, and show the main "threads"/sections, aka, Castle, Pirates, Community etc with some defining features of each... Like Community, I am sure Imperial Shadows would be thrilled if EB news presents was mentioned. And obviously you would include the history, like the creators of EB, how its a world wide forum now and not limited to Europeans. It would be nice to get some statistic of American/European/Others are members. May wish to include some of the over arching rules that apply. Yes to be known is good, but to get continuous "bad kids" joining up will strain mods to all hell. Well thats my two cents worth, I hope and wish this has only helped. If any one thinks they are bad ideas please do not flame them. the staff will simply not include them in their plans Regards, Cpt. PB

10193 Medieval Market Village
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I am in love... I just run to tell my (voted) better looking half to buy it for Chirstmas! 2009, is looking like a budget breaker for sure! Regards, Cpt. PB -
I have a few Ideas for you 1. Flag Station 2. Shelter 3. Corner piece No. 1 is my favourite. So, Pirate Lego comes back with double sided minifigs and a modular set, and we can only complain about how expensive a special release is? I may be wrong but wont the price go down once it hits the big retail stores, you know demand and supply theory? And... Congrats on the great review Lego12, it has actually got me to post for the first time in months! I am dying of envy. I also want to be the first to go on record to say that setting this up with the Market Village would look supurb, in fact it would look like quite a few of the MOC's we have had on our pages before, it like a MOC for dummies, put the two together! TLC certenly does deliver when we want something. A nice surprise would be a soldier battle pack!!! -fingers crossed- Best regards -the long lost- Cpt. PB

The biggest Prize Pool in AFOL fansite history?
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Mister Phes's topic in Pirate MOCs
Same here! other than when I heard they had Evil Steve Pirate Game rules up... I would hazard a guess that we get instructions and a high quality, complete set, at this stage I would say the box is a bonus, or the condition of the box is not mint. Regards, Cpt. PB -
The Baritones Discussion Thread
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games

The Baritones Discussion Thread
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
All is forgiven , you need not shut up (just watch what you say), I am just glad Majiko has finally shut it. I am sure you just got carried away with excitement in the game. It sure is getting very interesting! EDIT: I wonder why I am the only reader who posts on the game. Perhaps others in the audience could give some feed back. -
The Baritones Discussion Thread
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Woah woah woah, whats is this discussion of tactics and whats happening in the game going on! You are not supposed to communicate beyond the game about your decisions, Yes you are talking about it in general terms but it is almost bringing the game into this thread as much as the game thread! Contain yourselves please... we don't want to anger the whacker! these kind of discussions can happen after the game. I understand some of you have died early and wish to still be a part of it but please stop talking about important game factors. Yes you can say, "wow she was the godfather *shock*", but not, "Why are you all after the mayor? he is innocent!" blah blah. The players will do what they do. Thats part of the game, to question them after being dead is INFLUENCING THE GAME! -can you see that?- *cough* sorry, Hinckley, you might disagree, but I needed to say it. Regards, Cpt. PB
