  1. Uh.. I guess he's the only one they can hear speak Thanks ME, more to come soon hopefully
  2. Looks awesome from what I can see, especially the ogre scene. Would love a high-res photo!
  3. Homewrecker: One who comes into your life, and screws it all up - Urban Dictionary.
  4. I laughed out loud at this, poor guy got fried! Maybe he can be lunch for his friend there (depending on how hungry he is...).
  5. Thankyou fellow GoH members! Indeed it is, one of my favourite pieces of headgear Thanks cap, I still plan to do some funny scenes in the future maybe even with this bunch of creatures. Thanks B, I did intend it to be red lava, but there's no doubt it looks quite 'bloody'.
  6. Always a fan of 'movement' scenes! Nice 1x1 collection btw .
  7. Isn't this copyrighted material?
  8. It's already been said above, but those figures are rockin'.
  9. Neat lore and builds. Will be checking out your older stories
  10. Deep beneath the labyrinthine Rakath Mountains of Nocturnus lies this race of horrific creatures. The arcane darkness of the underground has permanently deformed their faces but one member, Börzerk, somehow resisted the damage. Because of this, and other displays of superiority, his peers believed he was worthy to become their leader. Now Börzerk gathers his minions and prepares to rise to the surface of the world to cause chaos and destruction across Historica. Built for Stage 1 of the warlord community build. (If it's still open, if not then just a freebuild introducing these new guys!).
  11. My favourite Kaliplin builds are the ones full of exotic colours - this one is no exception!
  12. What I gleaned from the thread was that there was a deadline (~2 years ago) for being eligible for a 'story team', but the actual build is open indefinitely. Not 100% sure on that though. Here's a quick link to the thread. I think it's time for me to have a bricklink session and snatch some up!
  13. Haha thanks ME, I'll take some inspiration from those names I reckon. And that guy above is just one of them, the full line is below (although some are unreleased yet). They suit Nocturnus to a T.
  14. Cheers guys! I put two closeups of the troll and watchmen on my brickshelf, have also attached them to the top of the thread.
  15. Hello fellow Nocturnians I was thinking of making a new character for the "Warlords of Nocturnus" challenge, which would use parts from the Nexo knights line. AKA He will look something like this: Given I don't know much about the lore or races of Nocturnus, which race would you say he fits into the most?
  16. Lovely rockwork and architecture. This is the kind of build that got me out of my dark ages.
  17. The Warty Watchmen | Dubbadgrim | Nocturnus
  18. Cheers for your comments everyone Thanks guys, I might take a couple of close up shots before I pull it apart. Will update this thread if I do. A few pieces from my Historica Husbandry prize went into this As did the custom orc (top middle). This Harry Potter set. Back when the licensed themes had yellow figures!
  19. Some orcs inspect two Avalonian captives; brought to them as a gift from a rugged but diplomatic mountain troll. A freebuild for Nocturnus.
  20. A very organic build with some notable techniques
  21. I mix absolutely everything up except old/new greys and new white parts with yellowed white parts. I recently took apart every single one of my old sets and mixed them in with the main collection.
  22. A big build with lots of variety and detail. Very well done, although I feel sorry for the guy in the 'operating theatre'
  23. I've got a WIP free build that I'm chipping away at currently, focusing on some orcs in Nocturnus. Looking forward to completing it :)
  24. A knight's impulsive plan to impress the princess is ruined by the most unexpected of creatures... Built for the Princess contest at classic-castle. I'd encourage everyone to enter, there's still just under two weeks until deadline.
  25. 5 is really beautiful, the architecture is just superior to 1. I like the scene in 2 and the landscaping in 4. 3 is a bit simple for my tastes.
