Tournament of Retribution III Official Signups
Axis600 replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Pirate MOCs
Righto, Admiral -
That doesn't look good. I remember the first build from a little while ago. But I had no idea there was gonna be a story behind it. Hahaha, this is going to be fantastic. I love the builds, and I can't wait to see who those soldiers are.

Gah...curse you all. Everything I can think of saying has already been said. Fantastic MOC, Legonardo. The whole deal is pretty stinkin' good if I do say so myself. The sea looks awesome, and the ship is very well built. Well done, man.

The only real thought I have is that the roof of the cabin is a little too arched. It looks a lot flatter in the pictures. Haha, that being said, I'm not sure how one would go about adjusting that. Its a very well done loco, Annie. I'm sure when it leaves the title of "WIP", it'll be fantastic.

How does rank effect the contest? Axis600 Bluecoat Powder Monkey (I'll change it if need be). -
So that's how they look...well done, both of you.

Kaliphlin Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Axis600 replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Guilds of Historica
I'm out of the running...probably til late December. Trying to keep up with some pretty rough classes and getting a job. Sorry, guys. On a separate note, would anyone be willing to try to make a figure? I was thinking of trying to make something along the lines of a Kaliphlin paladin or something. This body with dark red arms and dark grey or white hands: and these legs: Then perhaps a turban or helmet, I couldn't figure what would go best. The head really doesn't matter. I just thought it would be an interesting template for Kaliphlin knights or paladins. It's also possible to do a similar design in dark blue, using the king's legs from the Fantasy era and dark blue arms. Edit: found the legs -
BrickWarriors New Items - Dragon Wings!

...And I just ran out of cash for frivolous spending too...*sigh* These looks amazing, Thrash. I love the way the Sea People plume works with the charcoal helmet. It looks fantastic! I didn't realize the Demon Armor had clips on the back...perhaps time to make an evil angel? Well done, man. These are truly impressive. -
Reminds me of the Scorpion tank from Halo. Which is a good thing. This is a pretty good creation, man. I love the greebling on the back and on the turret.

MOC: Dieselpunk. Central Machines X "Goblin" Class Mech
Axis600 replied to tchuk-norst's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Haha, I'm not gonna lie, it's the figs that really caught my attention. I love the two armored guys. I've seen the armor before, but don't remember it that well. Is it built like that, or did you modify it? The mech is fantastic too. It looks like it could just barrel roll through any enemy defenses. Nice use of dark tan on that, it really sets it apart from a lot of dieselpunk creations.- 9 replies

Oh, wow. Well done, mostlytechnic! Wow, good ol' TLC really outdid themselves this time. The last three trains have really impressed me. Thank you for the review, I think I might try getting one of these.

Are you gonna print on the legs, or are you still considering the cloth option?

Hahaha, it's your birthday and you brought presents for us? Those are really cool combinations. I really like the one on the far right (which I'm assuming is the shazbot). Is there a decal on the visor?
-
Hahaha, don't be so sure. We're a bizarre mix of backwoods and modern where I live. These really are fantastic. I really like how you manage to arrange the minifigures on all of these creations.

Is it really that unknown? I come from the Southwestern United States, and it's actually fairly well known here. Did a play on it in first grade, actually.

You lost me at "possibly my last." Not another one.

Thank God for that. I'm glad to hear she's better. -
Hmmm...what about a power functions motor? I'm not quite sure how, I haven't messed with it myself, but it seems you could use Technic and a PF motor to do the job. Those motors are pretty impressive. Look at Ɍaillery's Octopedal walker.

Well done, HJ! That video is fantastic. I can only imagine the effort that went into that.

While I'm a wee bit late, congratulations, my friend -
Same here. I'm really busy with school, and I'm still trying to get an entry in for this and for Challenge 5.
-
Awesome I'd definitely be interested.
-
Huh...didn't think of that. Are you planning on selling these?

And there we go Those are wonderful, DarkKnight. As I said, not much of one for customization, but still, your Connor decal looks like something Lego might've made.
