HAHAHAHA! This cracked me up The fort itself is nicely built, but not something I would be interested in. After my castle project (3 years now and around couple of gran $$$) I will be making pirate project with 1 large soldier fort, 1 large pirate fort/town, and several ships. Good post!

MTL, fantastic work. I absolutely love balistas and catapults. Mind to share how you made'em mate? Im looking to make 2 balistas, catapults and trebuchets for my castle defence.

You can make a big orc army for about $1.50 per orc if not cheaper. Simply get on bricklink, buy some torsos (preferably green, yellow, brown or black) some black legs. several heads (green, yellow or brown-depending on which color you want to make) various helmets and weapons and thats it. Got to brickshelf and put ORCS and many decals will pop up. Get sticking paper (Office depot $7 for 20 sheets) and print them. Then simply apply the printed stuff on your torsos and you got your orcs. Thats how I did it and made another 40 orcs just yesterday. This is an alternative way; much cheaper and fun ;)

my first pirate set was 6232. That was my only pirate set until I came out of my dark ages. Now I own several of the sets but still eyeing for BSB and SES. Also would like to get my hands on the raft raiders and sabre island. Not sure why, but those two sets fascinate me.

Brickbeard looks the coolest. I really like the new pirates line-great minifigures.

Im not sure about you mate, but I am becoming a bit dissapointed with all these king minifigures. They made so many of them and some of them are really similar. Instead of the king, they could have thrown in another horse or a guard. I still dont think it is worth $20

Why would they remake old forestmen sets? Regardless of how mant people like that particular line, I strongly doubt that they will remake these sets. I like the forestmen faction and have collected at least 30 of them in the past 4 years (yup the $$$ add up before you know it) . However, insted of remaking the forestmen line, the rumor says that we should see the new Elf line very soon. Personally, I'd much rather have the new elfs then old forestmen line.

Guss, yeah Ive been promising to post some pics, but my thing is that I keep adding and buying new stuff constantly. I will be definitelly take some pictures possible tonight or tomorrow. I have around 15-16 different castle factions. You know you can easily turn those other minifigs into castle or pirates. All you need is a sticky paper (can be found in office depot for about $7 you get 20-30 sheets-more then enough) and printer ;)

Thrash, I absolutely love your MOC. Thus far it is my favorite vignette and I have seen hunderds of them. Your minifigs are brilliant. I do a lot of customizing myself, but it is no match for what you have done. Mad props for you. Keep it comming.

Martin, way to go mate. I absolutely loved your response and passion about it. It makes a complete sense, shows that you know what you want, and that you have balls. Serisously, I feel you man because I feel the exact same way. I am a huge castle and pirate fan, but dont buy every product because some of them are useless and even poorly designed. As far as their policy, they should have a requirenment for every lego idea submitted that states something in the line of "I give lego all licesing purposes and will not ask for any royalties or harm them legally."Something in that line that would still protect them. Look at Toyota, they have been listening to consumers and employees for the past 30 years and look at them going, still. Its a simple logic-give consumers what they want.

Shionara, did you try it yet? What do you think? I think they would look more hardcore and dangerous haha. I know Ive been saying that I will post my pics soon. Currently I am a little tied up with school. Will post the pics before the May 1st. Looking forward to armies from others in the mean time.
