  1. "I just want to get out of here as soon as possible. The speedier the killing, the faster the exit." "Thanks for the gold, Jess. Much appreciated" Eric says as he pockets the ten gold pieces.
  2. Amongst others. I was thinking factions starting from the "Fantasy Era", so up untill now . Crown Knights, Lion Knights, Dragon Knights, Dwarves, Orcs and trolls, Undead and Elves. That'd be about it. If we started including the older ones, things might get too crowded .
  3. I wouldn't use generic Guilds like the ones you described, they have too much Elder Scrolls/RPG connotations for me, plus you're losing the link with Lego there. In my opinion it'd be better to stick to official Lego Castle factions, let's say those starting from -what BL calls- 'Fantasy Era'. Even then, there'd still be a lot of different factions.
  4. Eric roared as blood spilled out of his wound. The hit infuriated him and madly he charged at the guards again. Eric will attack Veteran Head Guard from the front row.
  5. Great MOC, nice and simple. Despite its seemingly simplicity, I depicts a gladiator fight really well. But having watched Spartacus (and of course the legendary movie 'Gladiator') I can't help but add my voice to the public screaming for more blood! Blood and gore would really make this creation stand out. As BigCam already asked, is it possible to see pictures of the entire build, so we can see how it looks in real life?
  6. Another great piece of work, both the MOC and the story. But we have come to expect nothing less from you, of course . The Greek-ish architecture is really well-built and really radiates that "Erebus-atmoshpere". It was surprising (in a nice way) that you opted for a "normal" sandy beach environment to portray Erebus and not the tried-and-tested black ashes/lava theatre. It gives your creation a personal touch, which I like . Story-wise, the return of Vlad was a great plot twist and the humour really adds to the feel of the story. Great job! It will be great to see Nya's role expanded upon, I can't wait for the next installment . PS: Does Yarek remind anyone else of Deadwood's Richardson? Everytime I read a line uttered by Yarek, Richardson comes to mind .
  7. "Finally, less anagrams, more fighting!" Eric clutched his club tightly and swung it at one of the guards. Eric will attack Guard A from the front.
  8. Thumbs up to En Sabah Nur for winning that battle . That has got to be the most thrilling battle Heroica has ever seen.
  9. Eric grumbled. His charcoal pencil was almost used up and still he hadn't found anything remotely of use. His hands went through his hair in despair. Once again he started rearranging letters, maybe he'd find something this time. What would Cronk want to say to us? Eric was no Orc, how could he know how the mind of the Orc worked. He continued scribbling until he came up with a sentence, one of his firt to actually make sense. "How about this one: Cronk say push lever?" Eric said, proud that he'd managed to make something decent.
  10. "You cannot be serious!" Eric shouted and repeatedly banged his head against a nearby wall. "Another anagram? Can't anybody these days speak in an open, non-secretive manner anymore?" Eric drew out another piece of crumled paper from a pocket and wrote down the sentence. He starting scribbling ideas, but again none of his solutions made any sense to him. Hopefully someone else would have some luck cracking this one. Apparently Hybros was already on the right path.
  11. I really like the idea of new initiatives to empower the History forum. A world map would be awesome, but indicating everyone's MoC on it seems like tedious work to me . Sirens-of-Titans groupbuild/faction idea sounds great, too. I like the way of working in building teams based on factions .
  12. Looks like the Metasimians are becoming quite a popular race .
  13. Eric felt as if a heavy burden had fallen of his shoulders. The anagram that had bothered his mind for so long, finally got solved. It did surprise Eric greatly however, that is was Cronk who solved it and not ranger Docken as Eric would've guessed. The Barbarian had stood silent while the others were discussing who should be the one left behind. In yet another surprising turn of events, the choice had fallen upon Cronk, who had volunteered to stay behind. Eric felt sore at the thought of losing the Orc's hitting powers, but as the party leader, his choice was the final word and his will was law. "Hopefully we won't run into another group of guards. Your strength and sword will surely be missed, Cronk, but I'm sure all of us will be reunited soon."
  14. Zoot is an evil Heroica deity and is part of Sandy's Heroica pantheon. You can see all of the current gods in the library .
  15. Oh crap! Missed all of the important stuff again . Damn you, timezone! Good job on solving the anagram, Cornelius.
  16. As the party members were all caught up in cracking the anagram, none of them suggested where the party should be headed next. Eric was a man of action and solving riddles was not his field of expertise, he wanted to move on. "Where are we going now? Exact revenge on that devious hag?" he inquired. He spat on the ground at the mention of the word 'hag'. The Norse warrior cared little for cowardly magic tricks and hocus pocus. A true battle was fought with a blade, toe to toe with the enemy.
  17. Eric slapped his forehead and blushed. "Of course, how could I not have thought of the words you listed. Thanks for the heads up, Docken"
  18. The anagram was driving Eric crazy. Even though he's more intelligent than the average Barbarian, he just couldn't solve the puzzle. The feeling of helplessness and not being in control of the situation that struck him time and time again when trying to crack the anagram tired him down and annoyed him greatly. On the bright side, though, the party did find their lost companions back. "I sure hope we do get to find some more clues for this wretched anagram," Eric said "there's just no solving to this thing. It could be anything if we don't know what to look for!" Eric fumbled a piece of paper from his pocket. It was scribbled full of ideas pertaining to the riddle, but none really made sense. "Does anybody here know a word with a 'Z'? I can't really find any, exept for 'Zoot'. Do you guys think the 'III' is a number or just three times 'L'?"
  19. After being healed by the Cleric, I haven't (surprisingly) taken any more damage . I was going yo say 'open Cell C next', but I see Brickdoctor already did so .
  20. Eric grinned at the sight of the carnage he had inflicted. He felt his rage and anger course through his veins, but he kept his head cool and his demeanour calm. The only hint at his rage were the body pieces strewn about the hallway. Blood dripped off of his club. He was glad the club was his companion, even though he preferred the finesse of his sword. When given the sheet of paper, Eric squeezed his eyes and carefully read the hints one by one. Riddles weren't his forte, but he'd try to help out his party as much as possible. He spoke. "Did we find the answer to the anagram yet? Or does anybody already have an idea of what was said?"
  21. Propelled by yet another savage kill, Eric storms forth and swings his mighty weapon at one of the guards. Spurred on by the example of his companion, Hans also joins the fray. Eric will attack Guard B from the front. Hans will attack secondary Guard B from the front.
  22. "A welcome challenge." Eric muttered and prepared to fight. "Hopefully we'll find something of use here after we've dealt with these guards!" Eric will attack Secondary Guard A from the front row. Hans will attack Secondary Guard B from the front row.
  23. "Hmmm. A large hallway might lead to the exit out of this dreaded place. But if we head right, we might retrieve our fallen comrades. They might be held there. Might, maybe it could just be a guard's quarters, too. Anyway, I say we try going right. By the way, is anyone keeping track of the paths we're taking?"
  24. Excellent MOC! It captures the mood and atmosphere of the poem really well. The raven on the antique Greek bust makes it instantly recognisable.
  25. Eric's on a roll in Quest 9 . He goes berserk almost every battle!
