  1. The point should be the protagonists in Lego's history. Even if the newly-added masters such as the protagonists or Queen Marsha from CMF side are regarded as "veterans" in this movie, they're still "rookies" in physical Lego history. I don't think they count unless Queen Marsha or Wyldstyle are going to have their own action line after TLM ends. IMO, the themes that really features leading heroines are the girls-oriented themes, such as Belvilel and Friends.
  2. No. In theory TLC and fans would expect both the online game and CMF series to run as long as it can. If only series 12 comes with the information of the game, that means the following series would no longer do with the game. I don't think it could happen.
  3. As you said, the "MMO series" could also be something like The Lego Movie series, which is very "themed", that is why it won't be the possible series 12. What TLM provided us was a bunch of characters that are more specific individuals, and perhaps the MMO game would have this kind of characters. Well, I thought what "features MMO" should be the "characters". If it's just adding codes to them, it'd be alittle weird because it sounds like the game would be offline when series 13 comes. Unless TLC have other strategies and they won't use physical CMF series to promote this game.
  4. Uhmm... the minifigures reminded me, the reason why I wasn't that interested in the scenario of the Dropship is that there is no female representive master builder in this set (and probably no in this entire movie story. Wonder Woman doesn't count if Batman is the major DC representive.) But that's the historical problem of Lego itself, whose heroines are not the leading roles. The only exception is that there could have been a representive from Friends. But still, this ship is absolutely a masterpiece. Wow, it could have been better if TLG came up with a larger set that features this land.
  5. Sorry, did you get what the question it was? I've seen the clips, and I know we've not seen earlier series characters playable. I don't think there are any character from CMF series would be "absent" in this game, so in my suggestion, maybe the characters from newer series are easy to obtain, while the older ones are rare beings. I didn't expect to see an independent MMO collectible series, but it would be nice if there are. However, I stll can't understand what the thebrickfan meant with "a special line of minifigures to go along with the game".
  6. Well the original version of Unikitty is still a incentive. What the major issue is most of the large sets are fighting vehicles, while Cloud Cuckoo is the only mediium buiding set. Also TLC is known for including protagonists in any other licensed sets. Don't be surprised for that.
  7. I'm not sure what you're saying. We don't know what the game will be, there could be characters from all CMF series or even older Lego characters or original ones. So here are questions you should consider or answer: 1, Why should MMO series be a normal series instead of another special series? 2, If Series 12 features MMO, what minifigures would it include? Or if CMF MMO and Series 12 are different CMF series, what minifigures would the two series include?
  8. Uhm....? I didn't notice this thread, so how do this thread divide from the Special theme subforum? All future Creator house review would be transferred to City subforum? Creator houses have many nice details, but sometimes they couldn't be better than those houses which are specifically designed in one type, if the three alternative designs have to be equally good. But the designs are improving, we'll see more sophisticated houses and Creator no longer stands for "semifinished". The Bike&Cafe is the first Creator store, and another big move for this theme (though there have been Bike shops and Cafeteria in Lego world). It seems to be a good trend--- or not to me. TLC do know the popularity of single houses, so Creator is one of their plan to meet the demands. We've known that City has been infamous for poor building sets ratio. The more choices the better, however I hope it doesn't mean that Creator houses are here to pick up the slack of City. Some people suggest that the store idea can be another subetheme. I'm not sure, maybe I'd like to see more different building styles in the future.
  9. Uhm.....Mat.....Uh?
  10. I'm not sure if you're asking about the rumor of an independent special CMF series? As others mentioned, MMO is a new online game title that features CMF characters. We've known that there would be a regular series this autumn, but we don't know if MMO would be another special series to be made. If the series is true, my surmise is that it would include the exclusive characters that represent the NPC of MMO world. It could be some original characters, or some returning characters from old Lego themes. Actually, if the NPCs are as cool as the Universe ones (or would they return?) and they'll be physically made, that would be super awesome.
  11. Anyone remember violet? Sorry? I don't think your "intelligence" makes sense. Since we've already know there are three special series to date, I don't know why MMORPG has to be equal to a normal series instead of being the fourth special series, or actually all previous eleven series are all "MMO series". Whatever, we should confirm which characters would consist of the "MMORPG series" before discussing this idea.
  12. Though these are diffrent from the early humans, I guess brickbuilt humans haven't extinguished yet. But still most modern door and window parts are for minifigure scale, so a brickbuilt human wouldn't fit here. Oh, the other reason for the brick-built birds reason could be that the leftovers have nowhere to go.
  13. Sorry? I don't see you're giving a specific topic to discuss and Friends belongs to the Town subforum. Are you new here?
  14. Weird enough, I've already seen the who wave of the Movie sets but still no CMF series come in my local ToyRUs.
  15. Nice find, it seems that the figs are promoted differently in other countries. Maybe you just have to wait for other promotions if s*cking at being forced to order PS3 discs.
  16. Well, kinda dissapointing to me, I expect the building part to be more integrated, not another Winter Market. And I'm not sure it's the building style of Heartlake. It looks like the heroines found an exotic place after they just adventured the jungle. Abit weird for that the TLG designs don't actually ever consider Jacob in physical sets. (Not a fan of him, but I don't think he's difficult to be physical compared with Lacy. Offtopic, but I personally don't like see too many "videos" with text or picture only. It's kinda like the wrong space for fanbase discussion.
  17. At least it was a distinctive one. I like this station, it feels like a modern station design--- uh, but a small station where no staff stay and only one train stops every two hours. I'd like to see a bigger station in the next wave. I actually expect something like "Arctic" train station. Sorry, another Elsa clone?
  18. Brilliant set. It's a good excuse direction to make more playable and compatible house sets for City consumers. Creator birds have been purposely designed to be brick-built, though I don't remember that there have been brick-built human before minifigures enter the Creator sets. Maybe TLC want to encourage building animals or they just don't mean to make more new moulds?
  19. I don't think I've seen that information. In any wiki things, only official reference are convincible. And we've seen many villain minifigures from new stories, I don't think Lego can't make villains from Disney classics. It should be that older children accept villains, or there can only be Duplo Joker and no System Joker .
  20. I thought Maleficient could very possibly appear in future sets that feature her own film. However, the fact that no Frozen sets came soon after the film premire results in an unclear direction of Disney theme, which doesn't promote new films as other licensed themes do. I do believe no Mother Gothel came in the first wave is a big mistake. Speaking of horses, I don't think the horse from Cinderella sets (both Duplo and System version) indicated that they were Gus, Mary or Jaq, same for the cats and dogs from the castle. Even that future Mulan or Tangled sets included "horses", it could be possibly that they won't be recognizeable characters. Animal character is another issue. We've known that animals play a very important role in Disney world. I was quite disspointed with TLC who didn't consider these elements in actual sets.
  21. Yes, but a single house set with decorated interior could be good with this series I guess. The one next to the Winter Village Cottage feels like a playhouse. Well IMO it seems a bit relunctant since it doesn't located in a "city" anymore, though Farm could be the same thing. I wonder if TLC avoid creating standalone themes, or they regard all modern vehicles things as part of "City"?
  22. Maybe a flatter chin? We don't know if Friends would introduce younger siblings for the main characters, however, there are really few notable kid characters in Disney franchise. Unless we're going to see Pinocchio, Lilo or Phineas. I believe that there should have been Rapunzel's mother at home. The Cinderella castle needs more characters, but they wouldn't be Cinderella's family members. I'd like to see Shan Yu and Lady Tremaine for sure. IMO it's due to the lack of minidolls from each set, we can only wait and see.
  23. Great vehicles make your City..... humm..... It reminds me, have we ever seen a Lego igloo?
  24. With a different head print. Please see this page. So rare means not being included in a certain set?
