Dragon Bolt is my favorite HF set. To solve the size problem, I'm building a massive revamp. I've only built maybe one-third of the body, and it's already over half a foot long.
-
I like it. The only part of this that looks off is the ice hockey chestplate, which looks like a solid block of blue compared to the rest of the MOC´s rather equal spread of bronze and blue.

Looks much better .

Out of all of these, only Evo and Furno (the large armor plate being the same color as the core looks weird) and Surge (the lightning bolt weapon's tr. yellow clashes with the tr. neon green) are underwhelming. The rest are more or less pure awesome.

Ok, so first Dragon Bolt is the best set ever, then Dragon Bolt is the best set possible and now it's considered one of the "meh" sets of the wave?

Raven Renegade - Legends of Chima MOC
DraikNova replied to Rocketbilly's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Basically, this is the Raven Glider (or whatever it's called) with 200% more awesome. -
It looks somehow more..modern and slick than the old version.
-
While I know you said all the sensors were in the side panels, I would recommend you add a (simple) head as well. It just looks awkward and unbalanced without one.
-
... Eek. That's a beautiful SHIP. It sticks to the original colorscheme, the parts used are those of the time and the entire thing looks extremely detailed and rather practical as well (the prison pod holders at the back are a nice touch).

I actually think the antennae and arches are a few details that really add to the build.
-
Beautiful. All the colors are perfectly spread, and the building uses simple techniques to make a rather complex MOC.
-
This is one of the most confusing scenes I've seen built in LEGO, but the black-and-red cyborg fig makes up for that.
-
Everyone's building in olive green these days. Turns out there's a reason: awesome MOCs like this.
-
The gold-bar tracks look great and, while it's relatively simple, it manages to give off a very greebled look.

Lovely. I'm wondering whether you added the core on purpose or simply because it came with the set, but otherwise, this MOC is perfect awesomeness. And you deserve credit for the topic title alone.
-
I'd make the arms slightly shorter, but otherwise, this MOC is pretty good. The black paws are quite rare and kind of difficult to attach, so I understand why you didn't use them for the back legs.
-
While it's not so sleek as the other builds, the story gives me the impression that it's a cheap, run-down place, scrawled-over with graffiti. The computer is pretty inventive, anyway.
-
Lovely sleek look. The overall structure reminds me of some real-life experimental heli's.

LAZY MOC Hero Factory - NIGIS The Brilliant
DraikNova replied to pocketmego's topic in LEGO Action Figures
It's not just his advice; it's something MOCcers everywhere deal with. You get an idea, you sidetrack, you go back to your original idea, give up, and then find out the sidetrack has given you ideas for how to build the original better. -
I think we heard his name before we saw the first pictures, actually.

Ancestors to the Build-able Action Figure
DraikNova replied to pocketmego's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Action figures go back centuries, starting out simply as less girly dolls. The first buildable action figures, however... -
The few details that make this MOC perfect are: 1. The silver Ninjago blades on the side of the head. These make it look more like a mask than a face. 2. The Gorzan fur add-ons on the shoulders. 3. The Savage Planet paws themselves.
-
Well, while it's a very interesting MOC build-wise, the two slightly different shades of yellow really detract from the overall MOC.

Legends of Chima 2013 (Action Figures)
DraikNova replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
All of them are available in German LEGO stores, by the way. -
One typo: you wrote "male characters like Natalie Breez". Anyway, while the build looks very strange when unarmored, I've got to say that Rocka and Bulk in particular look great.
