Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Chubbs replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I talked to one of the Customer Service agents the other day about BnP closing - turns out the reason is they close it down is because they use that warehouse for the increased holiday demand. I would think we have at least another 6 or 7 weeks of ordering still. -
I have seen and coveted all of your builds @LegoSjaak - you're in a league of your own. And yes I had hoped someone had competed the build. I could be wrong but I believe PC uses a similar angle for its door so I'm sure its possible to do and make everything work together.
-
Thanks @LegoSjaak I had come across that facade as well but was hoping someone had fleshed it out a little more within the community here. Maybe now someone will take up the challenge.

I've seen several MOD of this set making it double wide or twice as tall or separating the laundry mat into its own store, but has anyone tried to make the Bank into a "true corner" building like Palace or Grand?

I think its more of a browsers issue at least in my experience. Chrome hardly ever works even after clearing everything, Mozilla tends to work every time for me. -
For all new pieces - you'll be in the $500 - $600 US range I would guess as the part out value according to the Bricklink is $660 average.

Nothing about this design is poor! Its incredible! Wow! Fantastic job!! Wish I had this talent!

I seriously just logged in and was going to ask if anyone had any suggestions on these axles as the price just seems to go up and up. I remember a time when you could get a 4 pack of axles directly from Lego for $2.89 CND and now they are $2.22 each on PaB. Thanks for the help good Dr.

Your middle name should be Midas. Pure gold once again!

I don't understand your hesitation to contact TLG and report this. Any time I have had missing or broken pieces, I contact them, give the proof of purchase code as well as the box tape code and that's it - whatever was missing/broken is sent right away. Your hesitation is confusing for sure - why complain and then not do anything to try and remedy the issue? Surely you don't wish your experience to happen to someone else.

Has anyone done the Townhouse in alternate colours? Blue? Pink? Purple? And have pictures of said build?
-
Don't give up yet - mistakes get made and you learn from them the next time you BL a set.
-
I agree that the dark green really stands out and makes the set...reddish brown might work for the windows instead of black and then the dark green awnings could stay. No?
-
This looks amazing!! Well done!!!
-
Do you have a picture of that? Sounds really good and sharp! Black is usually the easiest to substitute in...just want to make sure it would look okay with the other colours used in the set....or would the black windows require more colour substitutions.
-
I looked at BL'ing the GE as well - the number of dark green windows stopped me from doing it - you need a lot of them and they are expensive. So if I ever do it, I'll end up changing the colour so its a little more economical

According to Lego Customer Service, there is no limit on the number of lots/elements you can order, but there is a 200 piece limit per lot/element (if you require more than 200 there is a form for a bulk order that needs to be filled out prior to the order). However it seems that people on here have been only able to order a total of 80 lots...I'm not sure if that's a browser/website issue or what exactly. Double the check the instructions but I believe its a 1:1 substitution
-
Can someone refresh my memory about how many lots one is able to order from BnP? I thought it was mentioned somewhere here in this thread but am having difficulty locating it. Thanks in advance
-
I've wondered about it in Dark Bley or Reddish Brown - those colours are fairly common so it shouldn't be that hard or expensive to substitute the colour. Anyone have any thoughts about those colour choices?

These look fantastic! I'd love to see some step-by-step progress shots of turning a stock car into an 8-wide

Is there an updated lis anywhere of what parts are available? Checking 8+ pages of forum plus multiple sets online seems like an excessive amount of time to be spent. -
Hate to be the bearer of bad news BlockLogo but you don't earn VIP on B&P orders, only on Pick-A-Brick orders
-
My plan is to do a GG in Dark Red but to use the masonary brick instead of the groove
