  1. Yeah, we really need some variety in dog breeds!
  2. That would seem likely except that the entire set is named Garmatron. So if he were just a minifigure, well, there would have to be somethign else there too.
  3. That sounds pretty cool. Maybe we'll be able to make a whole group of "suit-guys" once this is out. . .
  4. Nice work, it certainy looks monsterly enough!
  5. I hope they arn't duplo, at anyrate, I like the idea of getting a princess and one of the new horses in brown!
  6. The eagle sounds interesting and the red house might be cool as well!
  7. Nice work on all the different chairs and that tree looks fantastic! Love the Hare's ears too!
  8. I've never really had much of a problem with Chinease plastic either. Somethimes the heads fade, I guess, but that's about it and I certainly haven't had any problems with my Sensei Wu fom the battle areana.
  9. Me too. I could realy use some more animals for making a Zoo or something. . . of course, I might not want too many crocodiles. . . (yeah, I know they do have them in some Zoos)
  10. That is awesome! I love the three bricks and the minifigure statue plus the duck! And the minifigures look great too!
  11. Same here. But I do like the idea of a Fire motorcycle, if it looks nice I might get one!
  12. Nice work, I love all the dark red! I would suggest adding a bit of green for trees if you could though. Great job with the spires regardless!
  13. Personally I use only yellow faces and no, not just the ones with eyes and a smile (smily faces I call them); in fact I only have one or two of those - I've trade the rest away since I think they make whoever you put them on look like a little kid. Back on the Lone Ranger subject, I wonder just how many indians this might have. Of course there will be his side-kick, Tonto, but I'm hoping there will be a set will maybe an indian camp or something.
  14. Yes, and since Kai seems to be gitting a robot, I doubt Garmatron will be a robot either.
  15. I agree, I serously doubt LEGO will kill or even make Lord Garmadon vanish into space - especailly after hinting in the last season that he really might have a good side (just one that's almost invisible). Plus, Sensei Wu said that the best way to defeat an enemy is by making them your friend. . .
  16. Nice work, Toma S, especially with the use of hands! The clear blue works well too!
  17. Thanks, those are some great ideas (especially the paths and stone - I have a lot of bricks that would work well for that)! I think I've solved my pavilion roofing problem; I'm going to use round 1x1 plates (three on top of each other) and 1x2 bricks to create a domed effect (hopefully) alternating red with trans red and white with clear. I mentioned this before, but although sixing it down would make the build a lot easier, the plates are actually glued to the bottom. So while I could use just half, there would be a wide expanse of grass to one side anyways. I've also started a brick-built statue of Dextrus Flagg I'm planning on placing towards the left of the pavilion, so that will be another space-filler (if I get it done, that is ). Thanks everybody for the feedback!
  18. Nice work Ska-for-hire, I like the length (although you still didn't beat me - yours is about 2200 words and mine is around 3500 ), although under guild colors I would suggest you specify that the blue is actually dark blue. Nice story, and I would actually suggest you (after correcting one of two spelling errors - I think you said pnnamore once) post it all on the Create a fifth guild topic - just my idea.
  19. It seems the 2012 version is limited to the bigger sets - so you might have a hard time getting that one unless you want to pay at least $80. I really can't tell much of a difference between Chinese plastic and the normal stuff, but I think the Battle Areana uses (for Sensei Wu) normal plastic. Don't go by what I say for that though, I'm really just guessing. . .
  20. I do agree, that's certainly a possibility (and maybe more likely than my scenario), but I still think that LEGO should make Garmadon good somehow and that seemed an easy way to do it. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. However, it seems to me that if Gamratron were just some idea put into action by Lord Garmadon, and then (naturally) defeated by the ninja, he shouldn't get a set all to himself; it seems the other creations won't. On the other hand, if he were really the master-evil mind behind everything - well then of course he would be important.
  21. Great work on your 20x20 - as usual I couldn't see the rest of the photos but I went to your flickr. I really love the way you did the house underground, excellent work!
  22. I always wondered how you could get the backgrounds so white - I take most of my pictures on white paper as well, but I never thought of using the contrast and brightness!
  23. Nice job Torgar, especially with the house and the small windows. Your citizens look good too!
  24. Thanks! They really look nice!
  25. Well, IMO it would make sense for an evil being named Garmatron to look like Garmadon, especially if he came first. But I didn't mean that Garmatron was a person, I meant something like the power miners Cyristal King. Still, I agree that it's plently likely that Garmatron ends up being either Lord Garmadon magnified or a robot.
