I agree, whatever it is is probably brick-built. But I was think in terms of something like the Power Miners Cyristal King - a huge being or something.
-
I was thinking more on the terms of a Lizard, (Yeah, how would LEGO do that?) but a crocodile does seem likely since the Croc-Boat is the most expensive set of the line.
-
Nice work, especially with the minotaur head and horns (where do those horns come from?) and also with the stone wall.

Great landscaping and border job, that's conquistador/thesbian/leaderhosen mixed minifigs looks awesome! Love the rearing horse too!

Dark grey would be a good color. It's not that black looks bad either, it's just that I don't think I've heard of a black temple. . . @Rast - I believe the max is 54 or so (58 or 52?) x5o whatever.

I'm glad it seems like we might be getting a fairly inexpemsive wheelbarrow, but other than that I can't say I like any of these too much. But who knows, they might turn out nicer than I expected!

My guess is that Garmatron is the evil being or whatever that created the great devourer, but who knows. I like the price range as well, it should make it farily easy to get all the Kimono ninja, and it really doesn't seem too unlikely - LEGO probably wants Ninjago just to fizz out and that probably won't happen as fast if they realease a whole bunch of huge sets. And I think Lloyd NRG is the Gold Ninja - (like I said in this thread) - his ZX spinner is gold, not green. Plus it would be natural for him to turn gold as he blends the four spinjitzu elements within himself more and more. And also, since his Kimono form seems exclusive to the Character encyclopedia, I think it makes sense for him to be golden in the next wave.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Kai NRG replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I actually hadn't thought about the pirates being out of the picture. It kind of seemed to me like (not to bring up such a mind blowing topic again, but) Anyway, based on the 2013 sets I'm guessing that Garmatron is really not anything like Garmadon - (except for being even more evil), but that instead he is the what-shall-we-call-him? - evil force? - behind the Great Devourer - and therefore behind Lord Garmadon. Basically Garmatron is the Dark Lord that Lloyd Garmadon is destined to defeat, or if Lord Garmadon is actually the Dark Lord like we've been told, then Lloyd will defeat Garmadon's evil side by defeating Garmatron. At any rate it seems clear to me that Garmatron is the overlord - my guess is as the ninja continue foiling all of Garmadon's plans he (Garmatron) realizes his best henchman is in big trouble, and so he sets out to save Garmadon and defeat the ninja. But of course the ninja defeat him at the temple of light (which odd as it may sound probably is on the Island of Darkness - but probably not in the episode named the Island of Darkness, that would be a bit too early on - unless it will take the ninja a good bit more time to convince Lord Garmadon to become good) and Lord Garmadon turns good (eventually, at least), and the ninja live "happily ever after." Of course I'm just guessing, and I'm probably wrong to some degree, but who knows? And I'm also almost 100% positive that Lloyd NRG is the gold ninja (although for a fleeting moment I considered Garmadon being the gold ninja, but it seems unlikely), because, for one thing, his ZX spinner is gold, not green. Plus it would be natural for him to turn gold as he blends the four spinjitzu elements within himself more and more.- 4,591 replies

Nice work especially with the pigpen!

In general, the list sounds interesting, what I'd really like to see is how LEGO is going to tie this into a story background and also just how useful all these new pieces might be. (Actually, I think the Ninjago spinners might be useful if you wanted to build a huge Ferris wheel - you could use them as the bottom of the seats. . . )

Yeah, I don't really like flesh that much either - there isn't enough variety to compete with yellow (at least for me), plus you can't really dress flesh minifigs in bright clothes. Licensed themes do tend to be expensive, but I really don't think they're that bad. But if these go on sale I'd be very happy!

Excellent work on the 20x20, the rock looks great!

It's looking nice so far, although I would suggest mking the temple in a color other than black, although black does give a bit of a "charred remains" effect. Good work on the smoothness of the river though.

Using those white lined bricks for wall texture was an excelent idea! (Mind if I borrow it someday?) Nice work on the sloped floor as well!
-
Great work with the awnings, the colors you used really work well together. Stacking the baskets on top of each other was a great idea too!
-
Great job, I love the horse areas and the door.
-
Great work, I do love the Viking lady's skirt especially with the dark blue arms!

The first picture is a bit blurry, but your walkway is looking good, and the house on the right.
-
Then everyone thinks you're a vulnerable citizen. . .
-
Really, my main point was that I want to use the pieces for other MOC's as well, although of course I'd like them to stick together. But they'll probably be HF type anyways.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

Yeah, the only problem with that option is that the titles of the next few episodes don't seem to suggest it in any way (unless the ninja have to go to the Island of Darkness to get their new suits!).- 4,591 replies

Actaully there is a rumor about a golden ninja sometime next year, bot of course it's not comfirmed.

Thanks, I actually wouldn't have put so many minifigs in except that the rules said something like "be sure to include your new citizens/solders." I suppose that probably didn't mean all of them, but I went ahead and put them all in! (I agree, it's crowded. But there is a picture w/o minifigs on my flickr, should I put that in my original post?) @Watchman: Sure, you're welcome to use the idea!
-
Yeah, I would really like more animals! (Maybe, since we got a CMF zookeeper in S5. . .)
