That amazing! I love how big it is, it must have taken a LOT of time! All that grey works very nicely as well!
-
Probably (at least in part) the city mini-movies). Of course, there could be other stuff too.
-
It looks good, although I'd try to use just one color grey (preferably the newer one, IMO), although I think the tan line works well. Great job with the flags on top though! Edit: I guess that was a bit misleading. What I meant was: it might be good to use just new or old grey on the roof, I didn't mean more grey overall. Not that that's a bad idea, just wasn't what I was talking about (didn't occur to me!).

Great job, especailly the way you used technic pieces on the tower! Personally, I'm not too much of a fan of using chains for landscaping, but it looks great here. Also love the flag on top!

Guilds of Historica Introduction/General Discussion Thread
Kai NRG replied to I Scream Clone's topic in Guilds of Historica
Yeah, I like that combination as well. Personnally, I don't think this will be too hard, since I love building camps. -
Nice MOC, especailly with the top of the Shirine and the island next to it! It might be a good idea to put a couple trans-yellow round (or otherwise) plates on the lanterns though!

A burning house sounds intersting, and the flatbed truck. I do ho`pe we won't get too many more police, though I don't mind firemen.
-
Hmm. The CMF Galaxy patrol was pretty cool, but it they're really fighting insectoid animals, I'm not so interested.
-
I hope it turns out better than it looks. It seems a bit silly. But Speedorz will probably turn out to be the Chima equivalent to Ninjago's Spinjitzu.
-
Well, maybe I'm just skeptic about such things until they're confirmed. But right after having the green ninja - I can't even see how they'd implement a golden one!
-
Awesome! I love the white buildings, taht really gives the scene an excelent feel, as well as that splended hill/mountian! Great work!
-
That makes a lof of sense. Although I don't see the idea called up (in my mind) by Speedorz as having anything to do with Chima, it seems to me that 2 themes would be more likely than 4.
-
Especailly since they are so different. Yeah, seems to me that TMNT will be a one-wave theme launched simultaniously with the last wave of Ninjago. If that's the case, TMNT is certainly not replacing Ninjago.
-
Knights Kindgom (I think) had both as well. Personally, I'm hoping for brick-built, not the Bionicle type. Anyway, I do think there will be no 2013 Ninjago spinners. Although, yeah, it might be a good idea to end Ninjago with a big release, I don't think TLG will do that. Actually, a lot of Ninjago fans are more fans of the TV show (especailly teenagers) rather than LEGO. So LEGO wont miss much by ending it with only about 6 sets. Plus, another wave of spinners would really detract from LoC's (I was wondering when we'd get around to abreveating it!) game (presuming it will have one, which I do think is correct). Can't say I believe the Golden Ninja/Garmatron stuff though. Just sounds like a confused misunderstanding to me. . .

Beautiful. Love the way you made the tower on top of a river. Great landscaping too!
-
That entire rumor sounds interesting, I'm excited to see what LEGO will come out with.
-
I would say it might be a good idea to rase at least the stones inmediatly touching the river up to the same level as the river (some already are at that level), or let the river spill off in the other areas. But just a suggestion.
-
Yes, it seems almost impossible to think of Ninjago and no spinners. It wouldn't make much sense for TLG either.
-
Yeah, that's getting me confused too. But maybe that does in fact have to do with Speedorz?
-
Yeah, I think your vision is pretty near correct. Probably nothing too spectacular inside the building, just a lot (think, robbery) going on outside.
-
Hmm. I was hoping for an arctic theme. I really can't say I'm crazy about the way all these rumored themes have been going.
-
Or, possibly, one is actually not for 2013 but instead for 2014. (Legends of Chima, maybe?)
-
OK, I wasn't around then (at Life on Mars, didn't even know there was such a theme).
-
Great job. Really fantastic work on the cliff and the two guards look great!

Great job! Wonderful use of color and the entire build is instantly attractive!
