Meteor Madness II (Part 23): http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=552434 You guys are truly the best, most understanding readers a guy could have! As for the timeline, keep in mind that "Retro Red" took place a few years in the past, hence the Gemini twins having their previous ship and the Classic uniforms instead of Futuron spacesuits. They will meet again, but likely not until the current timeline of the comic. As for the progression of time, it was a week between Schwartz and Valkyrie's first and second date, and the second date lasted several days (as Schwartz was imprisoned most of that time). The only other thing that we saw happen during that time was Scouse's wacky adventures, which weren't exactly in normal time, or even the normal universe! That's as much as I've kept track of it.

I use two different lamps at the apartment - a large, tall standing lamp with 5 different lights, and a desk lamp. I would worry that placing paper over them might cause a fire, as they do get really hot. It can take me a few hours per photo session, sometimes.

It's hard for me to get the lighting right, especially for scenes where I need to show a whole starbase and can't use the computer as a backdrop. The incandescent lamps I have either aren't bright enough at times or are too bright and make everything a washed-out yellow. When it comes down to it, the lighting at my father's house (where many of the first 100 and something comics were shot) just is better than what I have at my apartment. The camera I used to use (which was my father's) seemed to take better pictures than my camera, also, although my camera is just the next version of his camera. I'll have to check the settings on his camera to see if that'll help. I'm going to keep working on improving the situation as I go along, but I'd rather post comics with some pix I'm slightly unhappy with than post no comics at all.

That's awesome, especially how it looks like a t-shirt design from the late '70s/early '80s. I've so got to get my hands on one of those. I already have a use for it in my comic in mind. :-)

There's actually two more comics in Meteor Madness II. One will likely be up tonight or tomorrow, but the last one will actually be postponed awhile since I didn't get a chance to take photos of a specific set that I have at my Dad's place like I expected to this weekend. But it's no big deal, since it's more of an epilogue and nothing will be left hanging (like Schwartz was from the rafters, last time). In the meantime, I'm gonna run a flashback story I've been planning. It's awesome that new (and old) readers are offering kind words. Unfortunately, I'm still struggling with doing three comics a week like I did for the first year and seem to have fallen into two comics per week more often. I'm hoping that I've solved some photography issues that were taking up a lot of time.

The DACTA story is still in my brain but won't happen for awhile - I've got several other stories to tell first. And the 200th strip is coming up fairly soon, and I still gotta figure out something special to do for it. I'll work on the base closer to when I need it. I'm a little out of space for completed models right now. I don't see my self purchasing the Alpha-I Rocket Base in the near future. It's a cool base, but has never been one of my most desired. My main reason to get it would be that it goes with the Beta-I Command Base. And my LEGO funds are being saved for Space Police 3. Anyway, I do expect that there will be two more comics this week. Perhaps even one tonight. As long as I get get it done around my viewing of tonight's new episode of LOST. Nothing is allowed to disturb me during that! NOTHING!!! :-D

While I called it Alpha Command, it's actually the Alpha-1 Rocket Base. And no, I don't have it. The cool thing about the Alpha and Beta bases is that each comes with a "viewscreen" that shows what's going on at the other base. The Intergalactic Command Base I have is Classic Space, but it came out after the other two (and is larger). I do have the Space Police base, but haven't used it frequently. I'll have to rectify that!
