    "Well, I don't understand it that well, but... lets see... hmm... not sure about that one with the little kids friend... but then there was Sorrow and Syntax as well as Drake on that first one with the proggs... so, yeah, on average, every quest I've been on has had one person who... changed their opinion spontaneously?"

    Erik nods in agreement with Nessa's blue words, and when she suddenly starts talking in red, he is fairly surprised, but does a decent job of hiding it. Just like that knight on my first quest. What's he got? Two personalities, in addition to his own, and a "demon floating at his back?" He begins to think to himself, but quietly mumbles the last bit. "Megablocks. Did I say that out loud? Well, miss Nessa, you think of something you want me to help you with, tell me. I've got a bit of experience dealing with split personalities."

    "Well, I'll go with you guys, though I'd like if we could try talkin' before we try choppin'. Maybe they're decent people, and they're just here looking for treasure, hey? Why've you all decided it'll come to a fight, anyway?"

    Erik looks up from cleaning his axes, and noticing Dreyrugr has returned, stands up and puts his rag away.

    "Makes no difference to me which way we go. I don't recall Jules sayin' anything about this, so maybe they both end up at the same place?"

    "Hmm... If we're lucky, we can take out Drake before his seal wears off, though it'd leave a lot to chance. If it is decided to give it a shot, put me before someone else targeting him, and I'll see if I can whack him with my Twin Axe. I'll use that one anyway now Zasie's made me feel encouraged, 'cos according to 'The Docken System of Combat Evaluation,' I'll do about 34 more points of damage, which I think makes up for the loss of the chance of causing someone to be Petrified." Erik attacks Cadet Colby from the Front Row with his Twin Axe.

"Mr Dreyrugr, now's as good a time as any to explain about how theres around ten of us, and how swords an' axes are gonna be more use at close quarters fighting than a blinking cannon." No worries.
