  1. "I get the feeling Baron wants to demonise us a bit to stop his people from having any contact with the humans, and I dunno if that's right. I mean, sure, everyone's a lot safer down here, and I haven't seen anythin' like the hovels, but Heroica's a mostly good organisation, right? I mean, this party's probably at least 9/10 on the not-doing-evil-stuff scale. Hopefully takin' care of the threat posed by these wolfmen will convince 'im that contact with the overworld ain't always a bad thing."
  2. Erik follows Moke. "Could one of you guys maybe seal Nessa?"
  3. Erik hands the Hide of the Suffering to Nessa. "I was thinking we could confront this 'Reg Goldjaw' before we speak to the Baron, but I guess the order doesn't really matter."
  4. "Well, you're probably right about that. Thing is, though, they'll just keep asking for more money. Tell ya what, I'm sure my companions'll agree to this, we'll go scare 'em off, and you tell the Baron all about what happened. When we get back, we'll give you directions to Heroica Hall, so if something similar happens in the future, you can hire some people like us to give you a hand." Erik says diplomatically, before turning to the rest of the party. "Right, guys?"
  5. "Not named Dragon Dan, was he?"
  6. "Yeah, sounds fair for it all to go back into the well-being of Zylstra. I hope that continues with-out issue." Erik says, diplomatically, while inspecting the blade of his Titanic Axe.
  7. "So, I guess we'll go chat to Moke now? We just gonna wait till he gets back with our weapons and confront him here, or has he got an address?"
  8. Elphaba sold her gems for 100 each. Now she's gone, so the supply of gems has decreased, so the price would go up. 55 is well below selling price.
  9. Ah, right. That explains how Padfoot was kicked out of the assassins, yet still took a contract. I assumed he was doing work unofficially, but maybe it wasn't him at all. "Hmm." "Sorry, Mr Baron. As Mr Solanum said, we have evidence that someone was killed by a blue assassin, and I heard Mr Padfoot was a blue assassin. I guess I jumped to conclusions too quickly. I hope you'll accept my apologies."
  10. "Well, we came here to find Padfoot, as we have evidence he killed a particular merchant, and was probably paid to do so. I doubt we can find him without your help, so if you refuse to tell us where he is, I don't think there is much I have to say that the monk hasn't already. Teeth here might, though." Do we have our weapons?
  11. I was starting to think that as well. Also, CMP, our weapons are still on the floor of the pub, right?
  12. I also think we should start with just one of those, and perhaps add the other later if necessary. Rogues have been raking in plenty more money than the rest of use for a while now, so I don't think, if Endgames 2nd rule is implemented, waiting a few more months will make a huge difference.
  13. On the way to the barons office, Erik says to Nessa "Do you want to borrow this Hide of the Suffering? It's Sylph's, but it could be more useful than your quiver." "Ah, understandable." "Pleasure to meet you, Mr Moke. No need for formalities, but if you want to use them, I've no objection." "Pleasure to meet you again, too, Mr Baron. We stopped along the way to talk and trade with some of your friends. It's a very nice place you've got here."
  14. "OK." Erik hands the Lighter Armour to Pretzel, and equips the Hunters Armour.
  15. "Everyone done? We going to see the Baron now?" Erik waves at Shelby. "Thanks, miss!"
  16. "Ah, yeah, like the shovel. Not particularly."
  17. Oh, I'm fine either way. I didn't notice that the bones were gone.
  18. Flee can in some circumstances prevent a quest from being lost, if TPK means the quest fails, and no-one has a smoke bomb, I believe. Natural respite may not be a full heal, and then being a cleric class you may end up healing yourself to full health anyway. But I see your point, I've edited my analysis, and I still think the classes are roughly equal. (Not that I think you were saying they were not equal).
  19. I sold the two claws for 30 each and the bomb for 10 = 70, plus 5 gold. The scroll was 75 gold. "A shovel could be handy, but I don't particularly want it. I've got no use for the soma."
  20. I'm not sure where I got 20 extra gold from. "Thanks, sir." Erik makes his way to Dreyrugr. "You can borrow my money, too. I know I've got at least one coin left over. And if necessary, I'll sell my bones and lend you that. But maybe you could consider selling that robe and bow? Maybe those venoms, too?"
  21. Them Proggs. Shame they're all too old for Erik, 'cept Punii, who I think's too young, and a bunch more he... killed. Shame. Erik and Punii going out would be... Explosive.
  22. When it comes to Dragon and Troll hoards, I think it makes sense for them to not be muggable, as I'd have thought the QM would have placed a hoard somewhere for the party to find. I mean, if a dragon has a huge pile of gold, then surely that pile will be somewhere the party can loot it after the fight, rather than inside the dragon. If it comes to a vote, I vote Nerf: Scuba's law (Humanoids) or Endgame's second law (Enemies with gold drops only) EDIT: For the record, that is one or t'other. I do not support both, just whichever one gets the most votes. As for witches, I'd say the next closest class to them would be shaman. Sage is somewhat different with it's spellcasting, paladin carries a shield, druid has ranged attacks and nurture. The other classes don't really heal. I table'd witch v/s shaman: http://is.gd/pQfCNh Witch v/s shaman analysis in spoilers (it's a decent block of text): Conclusion: Roughly equal. That is, assuming you have a witches talisman. I'd definitely support buffing Poison.
  23. "Of course, Sir." Erik hands Pretzel the scroll, and takes the diamond.
  24. I am personally fairly indifferent, but an alternative would be to have money-making skills add gold to the targets drops, which may cause the gold to be shared among the party more? I will accept any changes, and I don't personally have plans to play a rogue anytime soon anyway, but this is a somewhat less severe change, and may be worth trialling before a larger, and therefore more controversial change such as Scuba's is implemented?
  25. "Bleedin' heck, guys." Erik mutters. "Just buy the damn thing and argue about it later." He pushes past Sylph and Pretzel and slides the 2 claws, 5 gold and the flash bomb across the counter. "These for that scroll, please, miss." Holding it up, he turns to the healers. "Now, gentlemen. Know what they say about diamonds? They're everyones best friend. You can have the silly bit of paper if you get me the pretty rock." He turns back to Shelby. "The claws came off some giant crustacean me an' the monk battled in a vault. Called itself 'the Death Progg'." I don't think anyone's purchased the scroll yet. If I'm wrong about that, I'll edit this.
