  1. This sounds quite exciting so keep us updated when you make something! :-) Which set does this come in?
  2. That's wonderful news! But have you got Brickshelf sorted out yet?
  3. Now lad before I get to commenting on the actual MOC I should let you know we have an entire Pirate MOC sub-forum which this thread will be moved into after you read this message. If you look at the very top of each forum page you'll notice 5 sub-forums with the Pirate MOC sub-forum being at the top. I recommend you take a look in there. The other thing I notice is you've all called this a "model" however, throughout the AFOL (Adult Fan Of LEGO) world these things are known as "My Own Creations" or MOCs so I recommend you let me change the title otherwise users may be confused as what you're referring to.
  4. I had this problem once but it didn't last very long because I just rotate the holders until the problem went away. But my question to Lord Admiral Helden Ravensburg is: Why do you want doors on the Armada Flagship?
  5. Actually no, I have done no work whatsoever towards any kind of games. The latest work I've engaged is getting the new smileys up. I never noticed... We're not humble, we are almighty!
  6. Yes, perhaps there are good LEGO themes for some at present (not that I can think what they are) but there's no Pirates. "LEGO These days isn't 'All That'" is an understatement when referring to the 4+ Pirate theme.
  7. You'll either need to sign up using a different Email account or contact Brickshelf.
  8. So in the future I shall be taking measures to ensure this happens.
  9. Would the LEGO Company ever introduce the pirate theme? Its not looking very likely. Over the past two years they've given us the 4+ Pirate theme and this year a Duplo Pirate theme but it seems they're intent of avoiding a new SYSTEM Pirate theme. In the past there have been numerous surveys (acting as petitions with feedback) which have been passed on to The LEGO Company, however it hasn't made any difference. There even are numerous imitation brands of Pirate LEGO (made from inferior materials) which may be an indication there is still a market for Pirate LEGO. What we need to accept that there are not enough younger Pirate LEGO enthusiasts for The LEGO Company to "bring back" the Pirate theme. But that's not because there is anything wrong with Pirate LEGO, its just through lack of awareness. What we need to do is continue to expand this community and get some more weight behind us, and most importantly we need to attract new fans to the theme not just the old ones.
  10. Yes, I agree that X-O doesn't look right. So getting this smiley sorted out is my first step towards replacing the remaining standard smileys. As for the post icons, Brick Miner designed some for the Pirate forum a couple of months ago so I'll add those very soon.
  11. There is hardly any difference between :armada1: and :armada3: but you say you like :armada1: the best? And yes they are all plain and expressionless. They're just the standard faces, it would be quite ambitious to put expression on their faces because with the facial hair and eye brows there's not much space left.
  12. Standard smileys? :armada1: :armada2: :armada3: None of the standard smileys have facial hair! Actually, I'm not sure what you mean by " Though, are they just standard smilies? With a smile, or a different emotion" because they didn't exist until yesterday. Anyway, I don't think we need :armada1: and :armada3: because they are very similar, I only added both so you lads could compare them and then choose one.
  13. No, when I checked the auction it had been won. I was almost certain the auction had more days left but alas, it had ended. Maybe the seller ended it early which is a pitty because they could of got some money out of me.
  14. Well laddie, if you go into the Main Pirate Forum and look at the pinned threads at the top you'll see one called "The Pirate Directory". Take a look in that and you'll discover a couple of online LEGO databases with names and pictures of all the Pirate sets (and all the LEGO sets from other themes for that matter).
  15. You're not even one score yet lad! 5 to 11... Lets do the math... You were 11 seven years ago, making it 1999 which mean Pirate LEGO had been out of production for 2 years. Tragic! However for the 4 years from the ages of 5 to 9 you were fine!
  16. Is this the "small port and tiny fortification thingy" yer refer to? That be called Armada Sentry... Tiz a pitty The LEGO Company failed to produce a large Spanish fort using that 48 x 32 baseplate... Which reminds me I won another one of those off eBay the other day.
  17. Errrr... Well how old are you now?
  18. I'm from World's End :-D But how do we host battles in a different country each year? I can't imagine that many of the lads having the funds to travel.
  19. Yes, we all agree with yer! But you'll have to keep these discussion leaning towards Pirates otherwise it'll probably have to be moved to another forum.
  20. There is no central location for the Pirate LEGO enthusiasts of this forum as we're from all over the world. Even some of places you don't expect to find Pirate LEGO like Turkey for example.
  21. Don't be sorry lad! Your confusion is an indication that Baron Sat has done a very good job with Puerto Brico. But if you stay at this forum long enough you'll learn all the official Pirate LEGO sets soon enough!
  22. Why can't you take any new pictures? I must have missed the post where you said "I've disassembled the Imperial Harbor" or "My digital camera broke down"
  23. Are there all LEGO pieces in this image? It looks like there's a golden dish and some form of stein there.
  24. Welcome aboard lad! Yes, there are plenty of Pirate LEGO enthusiasts but nobody has bothered to round them up properly... Until now! Enjoy your time here because we only plan on getting bigger and better!
  25. No they are not, they are designed entirely by Baron Sat and are unofficial sets he's made available for sale.
