  1. :'-( We've missed you Piglet! Awesome! So why did you call this ship "The Golden Lady"? I don't see any gold or ladies on board! X-D
  2. Hmmmmm... Yes I see. Good work Governor Broadside! Come to think of it doors that low wouldn't be able to open because the studs would get it the way. Not that the doors need to open in this particular MOC.
  3. I think the Skulls Eye Schooner looks nicer and the colour scheme used for the Black Seas Barracuda is somewhat of a cliche as several toy pirate ship have also used the brown, red and yellow scheme. But what sways me from the Black Seas Barracuda are the sails - the thick red stripes look a bit dorky to me. Anyway, I still have voted yet so someone else must have voted for the Skulls Eye Schooner...
  4. Admiral Woodhouse Governor Broadside de Martinet The LEGO Company were never historically accurate and the uniforms could have any interpretation you want to give them. It quite plausible that Broadside, de Martinet and all the blue coat soldiers were French. There has been no formal statement from The LEGO Company to identify their faction/nationality.
  5. Can we get a picture or which you speak (errr write) Mr ImperialScouts? Or is the image too big to post in the thread?
  6. >:-( What's sad about that? At the time you posted the above I hadn't even officially voted yet... You're such a good little Oo7 X-D
  7. Why are we having "runner ups", Mr Sting wrote:
  8. Then why didn't you make this clearer? The lad can't even successful register a Brickshelf account so you might be asking a bit much there!
  9. What a crazy illogical organisation you army must have Norrington, have you been drinking rum prior to writing this? But I'll ask some questions anyway. Why would de Martinet be British? "de Martienet" is a French name after all.... Why would Admiral Woodhouse have no faction? In the all sets which include the Admiral Woodhouse mini-figure there are also at 2 Imperial Guard grunts which are British? What would be the point of including a neutral Admiral along side these 2 mini-figure? Why would The LEGO Company name the mini-"figure Admiral" Woodhouse if he was intended to be a governor, or the other "Governor" Broadside if he was a Commodore or Vice Admiral? It seems that you're making their names redundant. But I think what makes Norrington's interpretation ridiculous is sets containing blue Imperial Soldiers would contain both English and French factions. Furthermore, the only difference between a blue soldier and commander is the head and hat. So from my perspective this theory is just too inconsistent and confusing to be put in use.
  10. That could be good for creating an assortment of officers but it wouldn't work for me having a new uniform for the standard troops.
  11. It definitely needs some Pirates!
  12. It would probably be a good thing to read the other threads first, especially since the thread in question is very recent and at the top of the forum. Wait a minute... This is a custom mini-figure. But KAHUKA, you still haven't told us what you want to see happen in this thread. You've posted your favourite mini-figure and a custom mini-figure so now what?
  13. Because I was having swamp thoughts which were interfering with my jungle thoughts. But you've shown me the way Imperial Scouts, I can now see how some may find these useful for filling out jungles. However! I have vowed to only ever use them for swamp purposes in my MOCs!
  14. Yes they are! And your point in stating the obvious is?
  15. Oops! I'm not going back to change it now. It was on the "to do" list, along with a dozen other things that are in the process of changing. Yes, I'll be getting to him eventually Yes, we did that on purpose right before we took the picture so we could get the right expression.
  16. You mean these ones?
  17. "The matter of a molecule"? Never heard of that one before...
  18. Exactly what are we supposed to do? Post custom Islander mini-figures? How is this a MOC thread?
  19. Who here drinks coffee? I certainly don't... I intentionally left these out because I thought they're better suited to swaps.
  20. I think what we be needed here is some close up images to see what's going on. Whoever was wondering what an Imperial Fortress would look on that green baseplate here is an insight for you.
  21. Long live the mighty Imperial Armada! These guys are so boring because there's so many minor variations of them...
  22. What's the link to that poll? Just maybe I could...
  23. Yes you should, get investing right away! If the Imperial Guards were modernized then their uniforms would be different and that would create an inconstancy. They'd be like black sheep for those who already have large Imperial armies.
  24. Yes, there are plenty but they're not LEGO orientated. Try PhotoBucket.com
  25. I'm sure we've had this debate in another thread many moons ago. Anyway... Skulls Eye Schooner takes my vote.
