Have you considered making a custom sticker?

The folder description says... Lego pirates project 2004. More information up brick.jamescook.nu. This fellow might be worth contacting but that address doesn't work for me and since I'm in the middle of something I'm not going to figure it out right now.

Actually that's not true as it was the colour of the flag that indicated the nature of the pirates. A black signified the pirates would show mercy to those who surrendered their goods while a red flag signified theyd give no mercy and take no prisioners. I.e. A fight to the death. The red represented blood you see.

Well it has ended now and the final price was US $152.50. Not bad for a used Black Seas Barracuda, its almost twice as much as I paid for the MISB Legend version a few years back.

Maybe we're so used to traditional hulls we're just not accepting of the new ones. We're soooo silly... Different is good. We should all try new ways of building even if it may seem strange at first. Mr Dreamweb did you buy these hulls especially, or did you borrow them from the Viking ship set?

Fraid not. As far as I'm aware all official Pirate LEGO skull and cross bone designs were printed directly onto the flags. Maybe there's a sticker from another theme that would do the job but I'm not aware of anyway. What do you intend to do with the title once the skull sticker is applied?

I do wonder how credible that information is. I've read from several sources that Johnny Depp is more than willing to do a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie but Terry Rossio (one of the writers has said this) "It's like the fourth Indiana Jones picture - there are forces in play to make it happen, and forces in play to make it not happen. I think we will try to write a screenplay. I can't say if we'll be able to solve the challenge of making a good fourth film, or if our screenplay will be enough to get a film made.".

This is the first time I've seen a Viking hull for a Pirate MOC too and I see what you mean about the hull Sir Dillion. It doesn't quite look right for that type of ship, I think maybe because of how much it curves upwards too much. But that aside, once again you've done a mighty fine effort Dreamweb! *y*

Green is quite a different colour for sails... What made you decide on green Mr Legeaux? Was it to go with the cannon base? X-D

That's fair enough because it would be quite involved to create a custom figure the way Vader has. Cyryl shall you be creating LEGO versions of other members of the Flying Dutchman's crew?

I think that is one possible method, but the method I use is supplying PayPal with my bank account details and then it takes care of the rest. So when I want to pay I just click the "Pay with PayPal" option, login and press the "Pay" button and thats it!

Actually he wrote "I'd bid on it myself but unfortunatly... " You can use PayPal these days if you have a bank account with sufficient credit. You no longer require a credit card to use PayPal.

Yeah its a pitty there wasn't more smaller ships in the Pirate theme. Unless you count Captain Krag's Craft or whatever that 4+ ship was called. But a SYSTEM scale sloop or three would have been great ideas for sets...
