    I found many problems when trying to MOC Catapult Raft. I concluded you need to make large MOCs for the 4+ sets to be of any use.

    Still... The torsos make the auction worth something unless you're a clever laddie who can replicate torso designs and make them look almost like the real thing.

    Everybody was saying the same thing 5 years ago... And there indeed was a Pirate Line in 2004 and again in 2006 - but they weren't the Pirate lines the AFOLs wanted X-D

    I know what you mean. I would have liked to have done more but other things unfortunately take priority. At least I've got some time to post on the forum this week which is a significant improvement over the past few weeks.

    I meant in the real world. I've acquired a tricorn hat, (I.e. an authentic repliclia made from leather, not a cheap tacky novelty hat) so I've been wearing that round. I'm also going to Lord Boofhead's anual Pirate Party on Friday.

    No I'm sad because I'm having great difficulties transferring 150GB of video between a Mac and my computer. As I'm about 2 and a half days behind schedule I will be entering nothing.

    I wouldn't say I prefer them because I think the carriages look better however the swivel bases seem more ecconomical on a crowded deck.

    Exactly how much higher do you need the resolution to be?

    eBay is also another answer... They're not usually cheap but on occassional you'll seem them at quite ridiculously low prices in the France/Belgium region. Of course if you don't live in Europe then postage will compensate for what you save.
