  1. Do you have pictures of your sails Mr Card? It would be interesting to see how discoloured they are.
  2. Now all I need to do is find the time to write him a nice Email... After I do a multitude of other things... I also edited the title of this thread in the hope to attract more attention to it because it seems we're the only two posting here.
  3. Thanks for that Ted Beard. Would he mind having his Email address made public in a forum? If so we better remove it ASAP.
  4. Is there an organiser or administrator I can contact? I notice they have an online mailing form on their website but if possible I'd rather address the appropriate person using my Classic-Pirates.com Email address.

    POTC Chess

I think the pirate pieces could look a bit more "piratey" and I think the use of viking helmets detract from that.

So you came up with this by your little self Mr oo7? I don't suppose you'll get to read this post for a while... Ah well...
  7. Well yo ho ho! This be a fine looking vessel and I particularly like this angle: I never would have suspected this was a Black Seas Barracuda upon first glance because othose "extras" have taken this MOC beyond a simple recolour to something more unique! *y*
  8. I thought perhaps we could offer to advertise the convention on the Classic-Pirates.com frontpage and newletter, and in return they could mention Classic-Pirates.com on their website. Since they're having a pirate themed convention it seems logical the two websites support each other, thus endevouring to strengthen and expand the online Pirate LEGO community.
  9. Don't mention it Mr Kloon as we're happy to help! Unfortunately Pirate LEGO doesn't have a strong online presence (not like Classic Castle for example) so Classic-Pirates.com will gladly assist other Pirate LEGO themed websites, but its logical for these websites to do the same for Classic-Pirates.com in return. If all the Pirate LEGO websites band together we can build a stronger online community and that will benefit Pirate LEGO fans everywhere! *y*
  10. It depends on their condition, whether they're complete, if they still have their box and/or instructions and which country you're obtaining them from. A Skulls Eye Schooner should sell really well even without a box or instructions. If its in reasonable condition you still be able to get at least US$120 but it also depends which selling method you intend to use.
  11. Excellent! Its public release date would probably be benefital and a link to where it can be downloaded/played would be good after its launched. I'll frontpage it on Classic-Pirates.com saying its currently under development. This way Google will be able to spider the information and increase the probabilty of someone finding it.
  12. I have finally reviewed the Renegade Runner: 6268 Renegade Runner is a fine sloop and The LEGO Group
  13. I wonder if it would be possible to network with them. Ted Beard, do you know much about those who organise the NWBrick Convention?
  14. Yes, I'm well aware of that having recently released Classic-Pirates.com and any promoting or advertising is appreciated (so feel free to do so X-D ), however, you haven't really provided us any details in regards to the distrubition of Wake of Destiny. You've mentioned that your development deadline is August 2nd-4th but haven't provided any details as to when or how people can play it. I realise there is some information on your forums but it would probably be benefital to include those details in the first post of the thread for reader convenience.
  15. Is that because of the crocodiles?
  16. A cannibal eats there own species though. So to be a cannibal the Islander would have to be eating another Islander... Or a Pirate...
  17. So this is how the Islanders capture their crocodiles for their cages? X-D
  18. We could first advertise it on the frontpage of Classic-Pirates.com and then again in the August newsletters but that won't be until after the deadline.
  19. Approximately how many mini-figures would you have if you combined both armies?
  20. I have Zulu on DVD and I have a friend that wants to remake it. Mr Tanotrooper what type of rubber band is that? One that came in a LEGO set or elsewhere?
  21. Isn't a solider house called a barracks? There's one from the 1830's not far from where I live but unfortunately its been turned into a bed and breakfest which makes it not very good for photographing.
  22. I would have said History & Adventure suited it better, but... Too late now!
  23. What do you mean by deadline? Is that the date the project has to be submitted or will the development crew no longer be able after that? We could advertise it in the July Newsletter or the frontpage of Classic-Pirates.com, but we don't want to advertise something unless we can guarentee that it will be available at some point in the future. So in otherwords we don't want to raise false hopes over a project that never gets completed.
  24. This looks exciting! Is there any support that the Pirate Forum and Classic-Pirates.com can offer you?
  25. Greetings ZeekyBoogeyDoog! You're another first time ship builder who has done quite a good job. I see our Pirate MOC Expert has already taken you under his wing, which is great because he is legendary in his MOCing abilities.
