Mister Phes replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks for bring this to everyone's attention! Also, by "blog update" just a short 50 word post with 1 image would be sufficient. Certainly don't expect long sprawling article posts. -

Your best bet is to acquire a time machine and travel back to the late 80s and 90s when the sets were still on shelves. Or, if you're a more limited budget, travel back to the mid 2000s when the classic sets were available quite cheaply on eBay. You could snag some terrific bargains back in those days.

Best LEGO Pirate theme of all time? A look at the 4 Juniors Pirates!
Mister Phes replied to PxChris's topic in LEGO Pirates
These aren't Classic Pirates! The forum is broken and it's ridiculously hard to delete them, even for administrators . But I think I've managed. -

Yes, this is a good point which has been overlooked.

That seems to be the case with the 3 in 1 Creator Pirate Ship. It's been in production for almost 4 years and as @Yperio_Bricks mentioned, in some regions the price has increased. So that may indicate sales have been strong. Meanwhile, Pirates of Barracuda Bay had a seemingly short production run, and 10320 Eldorado Fortress's production run has apparently been shorted by 24 months. So this indicates sales for both sets didn't meet expectations.

That's great news! To learn deeper... Did the inclusion of the female soldiers aid in her love for this set? Or were their inclusion incidental and it was other factors that contributed to her joy? Has 10320 Eldorado Fortress won her over as a LEGO Pirates fan?
