  1. Any chance of creating side by side images of the previous and current version of the HMS active?
  2. Good old Port Block! I don't think the creator is a member here, I've attempted to contact him before but with little success.
  3. You've got a lot of good stuff in your basement Imperial Guard! I'm not sure if you're aware but we have a How to perform a batch image resize Tutorial. Threads with an image in their first post usually get more attention so this is something you might want to take advantage of. Bare in mind we prefer the images to be in .JPG format and no larger than 800 x 600 pixels so as not to burden those with slower Internet connections and smaller monitor. If you want to display many images in the one post then try using thumbnails, we have also have a Creating Clickable Thumbnails Tutorial to teach you how to do that. So if you ever want tips on displaying your MOCs to their fullest potential in the forum, check out those tutorials!
  4. What a mighty fine entry you shall have General Knowledge! I like the dual level concept you've got going by displaying both above and below water simultaneously. Below the water looks very dark and foreboding!
  5. ImperialShadows has dedicated himself to producing the monthly newsletters for Classic-Pirates.com. I thought it was about time we painted his portrait and mounted it for all his wonderful efforts... PS. Visit www.classic-pirates.com/subscribe.html to subscribe!
  6. I've somehow managed to miss the Drunken Kraken until which is a wonder because this is definitely frontpage news worthy!
  7. Yes indeed Adam! But just remember to read the auction descriptions because you can't always determine from pictures whether the set is 100% or what condition the parts are in.
  8. What else are you going to do to this Work in Progress, Tordenskjold? Are you going to add a victim?
  9. The intriciate work you put into the sails and rigging pays off Green Captain, it adds that extra layer of detail. Might this vessel appear in a certain comic in the future or is that a surprise?
  10. Ahhhh Guss, I've somehow missed your Little Hidout - was that supposed to be spelled "Hideout"? You've used that Castle river baseplate haven't you? I've always wondered how it would work in a Pirate MOC and you've answered that question nicely. The only thing I'd suggest is more tropical jungle plants, but of course they're only option if you have them
  11. Congratulations on your new sails Guss! If you're ever looking for more ideas on how to make sails then check out our How to make sails Tutorial!
  12. Most excellent! That'll help the promotions department immensely!
  13. Hi Randomparrot, The items displayed in this thread aren't mine personally, they're highlights from the eBay Auctions displayed at the bottom of the Pirate forum. But to answer your question - YES!!! There will be more auctions, but I can't guarentee I will always highlight them in threads like this. It'll be up to potential buyers to scroll down to the bottom of the forum and monitor the auctions which appear in the advertisements.
  14. 6268 Renegade Runner + 6261 Raft Raiders + 6246 Crocodile Cage THREE SETS!!! CLICK HERE to place a bid! 6267 Lagoon Lockup CLICK HERE to place a bid!
  15. Dear Jami, We won't be able to see any of your pictures until your Brickshelf Folder has been moderated.
  16. The Corsairs of the Barbery Coast would have no doubt visited this tavern when they were holidaying in Greece Say GrimmClaw, when you were building this MOC did you use any reference pictures or did it just turn out like that?
  17. We had a Palm Hideout review not so long ago but it appears the index hasn't been updated. But you can review it again if you like. I'm also curious, which Palm Hideout auction did you win? Is it possible you could provide a link to the auction?
  18. Someone approropiately has retitled it "dinghy" - was that you?
  19. The way the mini-figures climbed by rolling looked hilarious! Captain Zuloo, do you have a poster image for Oceans on End?
  20. Build a time machine and go back in time to prevent yourself from destroying them. Failing that you could just build them again. They can't have broken up into each single brick, there must have been something that was salvagable!
  21. Well now you can think about adding them to your future ship MOCS! It appears only one set (the ship) that will have mast pieces, you might want to consider looking on eBay or BrickLink so you can specifically buy mast pieces.
  22. Actually I meant what's that ship's name and where did you find the picture? It looks to be a very fine model indeed!
  23. Ummm... What's that one?
  24. Another fine vessel from the Green headed captain! Only thing is the bow doesn't look quite right... It looks a bit flat at the front. Some slopes bridging the gap between the hull and the bowsprit should easily overcome that.
  25. What an outstanding fellow? Are we ready to give this thread a more interesting title yet?
