I notice you write comics but I'm only aware of The Golden Medallion - are there other Pirate LEGO Comics in different languages? (The Ladybird Book Series are not counted as comics because like their title suggests, they're books)

Awww... I was going to get you one for your birthday
-
It would probably help if they were available on Shop@Home outside of the UK...

Actually, it's good for Pirate Forum business as Pirate LEGO fans get excited at seeing big armies. Look at them all jump up and down for joy. It's almost like a Mexican Wave. Special people can click here to discover my intended fate for this thread. :pir-skull:

Any Idea When the Next Pirate Sets will be announced?
Mister Phes replied to Dr. Steve's topic in LEGO Pirates
The Impulse sets are $4.88 at Big W. That appears to be cheapest they are anywhere in a retail store that I've seen. So I might have to stock up before they're all gone. -

The great thing is Phred, a lot of them are already members, but those who aren't are welcome to join us at any time! -
Classic-Pirates.com undergoing scheduled maintenance so no cause for alarm if it isn't working properly over the next couple of hours.

Well done RTN LNA! We've even frontpaged these fine creations on Classic-Pirates.com.

That's exactly right, without all the wonderful MOCers, artists, animators and the like, we wouldn't have such wonderful content to put on our website - and of course news of upcoming Pirate LEGO sets also helps to draw a crowd. -
Any Idea When the Next Pirate Sets will be announced?
Mister Phes replied to Dr. Steve's topic in LEGO Pirates
I've only just got my hands on the 2009 Pirate Impulse sets and the larger sets haven't even been released in this part of the world. -
Well that's a good point Fenris, now that you mention it I don't recall using a dice to play Mastermind. Nor, do I remember Mastermind being a 4 player game either. It would be awesome if whoever buys it could do a Pictorial Review and then we'd know exactly what it's all about.

Eurobricks generally prefers recently joined members don't post trades or sales anywhere, as it's a privilege reserved for members who've been around long enough to be known within the community. This thread may need to be closed but I'll talk with other Moderators and Administrators to see if they're feeling lenient.

Would ye prefer one large chest piece? That would surely get people complaning that it looked too "<insert that tiresome argument>"
-
Yes, I think you're right Tom Bricks. It does indeed look like a 4-way Mastermind type game. So who might get themselves a copy of this here game?
-
Yes indeed, the old skeleton but with the newer face. Exactly what was wrong with the new skeletons arms anyway? As I don't have a newer skeleton I can't really compare.

For the adoring Pirate LEGO enthusiasts, there's a thread dedicated to the Pirate Board Game over in the LEGO Pirates Forum. So head over there to discuss the pirate version!

As part of their new LEGO Games line-up, we pirates get our own! It is also available from LEGO Shop in the UK for £16.65, although not so for the rest of the world, at present. A few copies have shown up on Bricklink in the past few days. Who can be the most cunning pirate of them all? Guess the other players’ secret codes before they discover yours and become the pirate captain. A game of logic and luck, secrets and treasures for 2 to 4 players. Game play approximately 15-25 minutes. The single minifig and lack of new parts (unlike in the other LEGO Games sets) is somewhat disappointing, but the parts-to-price ratio and abundance of jewels make up for this. Worth noting are the old-style skeleton arms on the pirate, something not seen since the Aqua-Raiders line in 2007.

And here be a picture of that fine vessel Thank for you taking the time to share your victory with use RTN LNA!

Exicting stuff! When do we get to see some pictures to get us more excited?

Congratulations everyone! The Classic-Pirates.com website alone (which does not include this LEGO Pirates Forum at Eurobricks) received over 70,000 unique visitors for the first half of 2009. We've been averaging 11,000 visitor per month for 2009, but June saw us break the 12,000 visitor mark! Check out a screenshot from the statistics: So lets have a standing ovation for everyone involved in the creation of Classic-Pirates.com and another for all those who visit the website! Here's to our continued success! Thank you all so much!

There seems a goodly amount of Pirate creations at Brickworld this year, definitely more it seems than previous years. Is that because there was a particular emphasis on Pirate with some additional promotion, or because the popularity of Pirates is beginning to snowball again? Or both? Either way it would be fanatstic if piratical-presence could grow bigger and bigger each year!

Anyone got a picture of the printing on the Imperial Guard's back - I am yet to acquire these wonderful mini-figures so I cannot provide a picture myself...
-
No! The Governor has beaten the Admins to it!
-
And in addition to the image resize, the Pirate MOC sub-forum is the place for all the wonderful Pirate MOCs!
-
Yes, more Mesoamerican artefacts for the mighty Imperial Armada to plunder! :pir-skull:
