  1. The Brickshelf folder is not yet public and this seems to be a MOC. You should probably deeplink at least one image and I'll move this thread to the Pirate MOC Forum in due time.
  2. Like Adam said we're not supposed to share leaked information because it creates bad relations between us and the LEGO Group. Now that we have a LEGO Ambassdor would wish to maintain very good relations with the LEGO Group. However, the thread title is "A brand NEW Pirate set coming August 31", we never said it was "news", we said it was a "new set". There is a difference and we can't help if people get excited and misread things. Anyway, Parchioso has kindly created a Pictorial Review so lets direct our attention there.
  3. This MOC is indeed impressive! It is even ursupring details of a new pirate set that's about to be released. Now, if only I wasn't on dial-up I could take a decent look at this MOC but I have to wait till Wednesday before I get broadband back.
  4. Great GADZOOKS! This is one of the most impressive MOCs I've seen in a while. The layout of the island kind of reminds me of this game I play occassionally... Curse of Monkey Island. Well there are similairities but the islands are quite different.
  5. I see you've created two (or is that three) of the designs Parchioso. Is that because there is only enough bricks for two designs?
  6. Thanks Parchioso! This would make good frontpage news so your efforts shall not be waste!
  7. At that price the Pirate theme will ceratinly last in that store because nobody will want to pay that much for the sets!
  8. This thread probably won't receive a great deal of attention unless you actually replicate the review in the thread. And you're welcome to if you wish!
  9. Ahhhhhhh but Captain, ye be forgetting time zones... When you closed the thread in some parts of the world it wasn't the 26th yet...
  10. I've change mind - it's a book! It even says so
  11. Or maybe it isn't Camilla in Brickbeard's Bounty after all...
  12. Awesome find Woody! It seems this is a MOC by Commodore Hornerbricker who is orchestrating the Redcoat vs. Bluecoat Tournament of Retribution. Since this is a MOC I will move it to the Pirate MOC Sub-Forum. It would be goodly if all MOCs could be posted there first.
  13. Well they do and for very good reasons. But it would be good if we could get more information about Brickmaster - exactly who is this organisation? Are they legitimate? If this is a counterfeit product then we'll have to remove it.
  14. Finally! Here be that picture of Camilla I was referring to:
  15. Yes, you're right Captain Zuloo, but you should know by now I like to be difficult. It seems to get people more involved in the discussion
  16. You checked with the Walrus Keeper you mean - thanks!
  17. Not to worry, I've just created a new thread. To contact me Email administrator@classic-pirates.com but the situation should be resolved now.
  18. As you can see Captain Zuloo this is not a set. It's a book with "16 Amazing LEGO models" written on the front cover. However, LEGO.com does not display all LEGO related merchandise, so perhaps these are not sets but the book is licenced. I'm sure Bonaparte will be able to help us out.
  19. User Parchioso has found some pictures of a Pirates Brickmaster Book which is now available on Amazon Kong Kong. It seems to be a book with instructions to build models of several sets.
  20. Can we have those posts back please. This is something we'd frontpage on Classic-Pirates.com and therefore we need a thread for the Pirate Forum.
  21. So I be presuming you're also married to "The Keeper" hence the title Have they sold yet? I might grab one but my shopping list for Pirate LEGO and related merchandise is growing quite large of late.
  22. Aye, a fearsome pirate! Did you you get your T Shirt from K-Mart too Mr Kept Walrus?
  23. Governor Broadside's daughter was originally named in the the LEGO Comic and the Lady Bird Book series, however there was no minifigure representation. Well not until 6243 Brick Beard's Bounty appeared... The non-Pirate female minifigure is indeed Camilla and this is confirmed in the LEGO Battles game. I'd post a screen capture of the proof, but me flibberjibbin dial-up conntect aint cooperating right now so I'll try again later.
  24. If I'm not mistaken sets like the Death Star and Medieval Market Village were produced specifically for AFOLs because of feedback given by AFOLs themselves.
  25. Good work laddies! Your feedback will help shape the future of Pirate LEGO!
