  2. If he was given a morion and cuirass (body armour) I'd say YES! I'll have to get one now and experiment.
  3. Yes, you may post one Battle Pack suggestion per week. Since Saturday was last week you may post another this week.
  4. Not always advisable to guess, but in this instance you're correct! Sea Serpents NOW AVAILABLE!!!
  5. Sea Serpents need one more vote!
  6. This survey will end Saturday 22 September at 23:59:59 UTC+0.00 So submit your LEGO Pirates Animal Battle Packs today! And remember you may submit one per week so there's an opportunity to submit two before the deadline.
  7. It's a toy... Don't expect 100% accuracy. Because it's supposed to be animals relevant to the Caribbean and Central America. It's beyond the scope of this forum to produce Animal Battle Packs that extend beyond the LEGO Pirates theme. Dodos are a bit of stretch but at least they're a tropic creature. Guess you're right!
  8. No you didn't, but that makes 3 votes so Sealions are in! 2 votes for Dodos... But I don't get the Ice Age reference... Is it to do with the movies (which I haven't seen) or the environmental phenomenon? Coz Dodos lived in a tropical environment and not during the ice age!
  9. One more vote needed for Sea Lions to be added!
  10. Greetings Walt!

  11. I did look at the bow but I didn't get a whale sensation... I'm not even drunk. UH OH!!! My mind has entered the Twilight Zone! You used yellow instead of real gold though.
  12. Fortunately or unfortunately Playmobil seem much faster to innovate design concepts and elements into their Pirate theme, allowing to enjoy a somewhat perennial existence. Unfortunately they LEGO Group doesn't seem to be able to mirror this success so it's great when Playmobil is a source of inspiration for LEGO MOCs. I like how you've used the khaki plant elements in the palm tree to give the appearance of older, dead foliage. Oh I do! I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  13. Well aren't you a lucky sod! Exactly how much LEGO did you acquire? Sometimes it seems there's too much emphasis on producing the largest most heavily armed ship possible, it's good to a smaller vessel from time to time. Of course! Rendering a brick built phoenix at that size would be a complete bitch - but you still should have tried anyway!
  14. In the first post he writes "The red wedges are ment to be in white, but didn't have enough white ones." So the answer is probably yes, but due to insufficient inventory it was not possible to produce the third cannon in white. Well not without cannibalising one of the other cannons first.... Is that a MOC in the background or just a backdrop for display purposes?
  15. Having an image in the first post always to draw more attention to your thread... and ultimately getting people to view your MOC. An image has been added to the first post for you. So how are things progressing?
  16. Which program have you used to generate the terrain?
  17. So how is this progressing? It appears the first image "ddscreenshot3.png" is missing - could you please correct that.
  18. Nice work lego_legis_legere, are you a fan of the Monkey Island series?
  19. Yer read that Kerntechniker? Weil wants a Big Redcoat too. How much would it set him back after parts and labour?
  20. Just so you know I'm a fan of back stories and tend to a lot of... ummmm... superfluous questions of what let to the scenario depicted in the MOC. So what happens to the treasure cave at high tide - looks like someone could get a wet bum of they dawdled.
  21. It's a splendid vessel to be sure - very robust! Wouldn't want to go up against that in me dinghy. But it doesn't look very golden or whalish. The figurehead is a mermaid - it would be better if it was a whale for the namesake of the ship.
  22. Eh? What do you mean by that? Not every post here is about Islanders.
  23. And which outpost was that? The only official LEGO Pirates set with "outpost" in name was 6263 Imperial Outpost (aka Treasure Outpost in some regions) and that does not resemble this MOC in the slightest.
