  1. Was at The King of Prussia Mall Lego store in Philly... Here's what I got on the wall. I also got 4 owls and 8 falcon shields and Three other miscellaneous pieces, no torsos.
  2. I'm gonna be in philly today so I'm gonna stop at the Cherry Hill Mall and check out the Lego store there.
  3. I agree. I didn't think of it that way but that's the best explanation. This new castle blends the restriction of pieces and minifigures and gives the impression of a castle, while the others you mentioned look nice and everything, but doesn't really fit into the "lego" world.
  4. i second a new thread also, if i didnt see this post i wouldn't have known they were illegitimate and would have been chasing a ghost, lol.
  5. I live in orlando - nothing here as far as i know.
  6. it used to be good from 2010-2016ish not good since i started going back 2020
  7. Still the House/Castle comment still stands. The overall statement was the x3 in one design "feels" like a larger fortified house. The new castle "feels" like an expansive castle. This photo actually would be a test case for interpretation for both ideas. The problem with lego scale, is that its tough to create the "feel" based on the size.
  8. 9. Nothing New at Downtown Disney. In fact one of the Minifg towers wasn't even out, they said low on inventory parts.
  10. weird so you have a big baseplate then when its folded together
  11. TWO 16X16? or x2 - 6x16
  12. my only disappointment in this set is the green pieces on the bottom dont stay connected that well.
  13. I agree the 3x3in1 Castle is cool, but the comment that actually made sense to me was that it felt like a house and less like a castle. If i could find a good castle design with 2 sets of the 3 in 1 i would be down to building that.
  14. What is the Part Piece for the roof part? Found it 20 pages back Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with 3 Claws / Rock FingersItem No: 27261
  15. What are you building? Are you building this? https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-101775/Madewithbrix/black-falcon-knights-castle-31120-medieval-castle-alternate-build/#details
  16. I appreciate you allowing people to be able to grab a parts list from Rebrickable though, thanks!
  17. thats stinks... they let me put them all in a cup. Foliage was there also.
  18. ahh makes sense, then your right on track!
  19. Where can you find these instructions RAKRONDEWL Lego for Minas Tirith?
  20. not sure... It just doesnt look as angelic. not sure the size of the area but maybe going from top to bottom from black to dark grey, medium, then light grey or something so it looks like shadow??
  21. Well i like the blank face just not black.
  22. I cant figure out how to divide these points out. I have 7,035 points. I know that 650 is worth 5 bucks, so its like $50 in credit i think. Whats the best way to divide this out to make it easy to understand?
  23. I am the same. I usually only want castle figs so 2 or 3.
  24. No i dont disagree with you at all on the value you place on the price. I was just letting you know from a retail perspective. Being a Graphic Designer myself, which is a profession which is difficult to quantify and can be subjective i know firsthand. However if you sell 10 copies at 20 versus 5 at 40 its still the same. More sales means more people looking at your work which then drive repeat business. Currently i have the inventory to build many MOC's like yours, but i don't. However i fancy that maybe i will someday. At $20 i can justify not eating a Pizza and purchasing the plans for a future idea of maybe building. I am sure there are a many people that think like me. I wish you the best and i will continue to watch your stuff, and very good work on your Castle. It is probably the best rendition that i have seen which captures the spirit of the original, and so much so, i felt compelled to post.
  25. i assumed that, but i was wondering if he had more photos and more info on them.
