  2. This is just an awesome story and to have a person so young appreciate Technic is fantastic. Keep up the good work Paul!
  3. Is this the store you are referring to? Panda's Technic Palace Super Lot
  4. A big thank you to Paul and Eric for the hard work put into creating these instructions and developing this model . I look forward to buying the parts and building this amazing creation with detailed pictures for a review if one has not been done. I took a look at the instructions and as always they are really well done. Now the question just to stir the pot a little how would it look in white I wonder if it is even possible...
  5. Well Paul as of last night the 42000 went live on the Lego S@H website for $129.99. The good news is it will cost me $159.99 here in Australia and with some patience I am sure I can pick up a bargain during the end of financial year sales in June/July. Good news all round
  6. Well I just finished building this MOC and I must say that this is one really cool car with an absolutely fantastic set of instructions. For anyone out there hesitant on at least buying the instructions please do so as there is so much to learn. A big well done to you Nathanaël for all the hard work and time put into this amazing car coupled with polished professional instructions please keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing what you build next!
  7. Paul perhaps he knows a guy who knows a guy who drives a truck. In all seriousness though this is an interesting one
  8. Well said - I did this as a test when building Paul Boratko's Black Vampire GT:
  9. Well done sir!!! Do you have an estimate as to how many parts you used? It would be a good benchmark to see how close your build technique is when Lego releases an official part count. I am only saying this as you may have been more efficient with your build (same result less parts) with your fantastic skills. Again good job!
  10. I can't wait! Also a big thank you to all those involved in the creation of instructions for Paul's Porsche 997 GT3!!
  11. Oh WOW! You are good. This is coming along really nicely. Keep up the good work
  12. OMFG!!! Those 2 sets (Crane and service trucks) have me drooling Saving begins... now Shopping list - -42000 -42008 -42009 - MOC supercars Bravo TLG Bravo!
  13. OMG this car looks fantastic! Well done sir well done!
  14. WOW - This is a really nice looking car. What amazes me is the scale of it. Nathanael you have done a really good job on this and thank you for sharing it with us - Keep up the good work
  15. Nice work there skyhawk! It is looking good. I too just finished my Black Vampire GT and I must say WOW what a build. Thank you Paul for sharing this with us also a big thank you to all involved with the creation of the instructions! It made building my 9398 really boring. Here are some pics from my brickshelf - enjoy: Now for those looking for a substitute for the black 19L some pneumatic piping works well (15cm in length): I intend to do the spoiler change at a later date - I need to acquire the parts.
  16. I 100% agree with you Blakbird and thank you for posting this - I pray someone at Lego HQ is reading this. As a new person wanting to build some of these really amazing creations it does get really difficult with some of the parts - shipping to my place gets a little pricey as well. I think a good start would be a parts pack with two of each panel type so that a full range of parts in a single colour is always available or at least when Lego releases a new panel in a different colour they release the full compliment of panels rather than a staggered release. Perhaps a paint that bonds to Lego really well - a little bit of product diversification on Legos part I know it is easier said than done but with red parts everything is there except the 5x11 panel with black however there are no more 19L flex axles. I know substitutes are available as well as different building techniques to achieve a similar look but in some cases I am sure a builder would really like to use a specific part in that circumstance. That is my two cents
  17. Well done Paul and a big thank you to Conchas for putting this up - I look forward to more great interviews in the future @ 88High - I wish I could meet Paul in person as well but I am on the other side of the world
  18. It is indeed! I changed my mind after seeing all the supplies dry up. Poor OP Please post plenty of pics people!
  19. Oh man! I just finished my Black Vampire GT last night and I come over here to have a look and I see this awesome render now my wallet just started crying. I think I will leave this one for now and build it on during the holidays at the end of the year. All I need now is a parts list so that I can start doing some homework!
  20. Well done! I like this model. This may be a stupid question but how many parts would you estimate to be in there? I would ask the weight of it but you have a lot of PF packed in. Keep up the good work mate
  21. This is just amazing! You are a talented builder. I enjoy seeing these types of creations, keep up the good work
  22. Mate I really do wish I could do that and build like you. I see Lego as an opportunity to work on the creative part of my brain (I am an accountant). I came out of my dark ages last year in September and of boy do I cop it at work but I say "a real car that depreciates this appreciates". Jay Leno once said would you rather I come home smelling of motor oil or someone else's perfume. I think this can be translated over to Lego. Life would be almost perfect if I found a nice girl to share this hobby with I love this hobby and when ever I do mess around and attempt to MOC I do go back to when I was 5 and the earth seemed flat (I'm 25 so no old people jokes thanks) and there were no issues in the world...
  23. Thanks DLuders, Now that more information has entered the market I think our budgets won't be as woeful as I thought. Now I just have to see how over priced these will be here in Australia and then make a decision as to where to get them from...
  24. Thank you for the review! I can't wait for this fantastic set. Well done to the Technic Team at TLG for creating this!
