  1. JAJAJAJAJA!!!! It would have really helped, especially when you consider that at that height you've got about just the 60% of the oxygen you would have at sea level.. I can tell you, even taking the figs from the can in which they travelled was a serious phisical strain!!! Thnaks for your comments. :)
  2. Many thanks to all for your positive feedback and comments!!! I'm glad I finally decided to post my MOCs. It's really nice to have some feedback on them, to improve the designs and keep learning. Cheers!!!
  3. I'm very thankfull for all your comments and positive feedback. :) It's funny how things you don't think too much while building end up being a valued feature when finished. The use of the technic bricks was one of those features!!! :)
  4. Though I understand what you mean, the design of the panels tries to be as classic as it can be, following the design used by TLC in theit old printed panels. I just didn't want to over do it ... I think LEGO has to have its level of abstraction. About the statue, I get your point!!! :) Just wanted to give it a really old looking feel... but perhaps I over did it a bit... Thanks for commenting..
  5. I would love too!!!! If "only" I had a 10 x 6 metres space to put everything together!!! This year I've been designing my layout in BlueBrick... hope some day I'll have the space to build it... :)
  6. I'm really gratefull for all your positive feedback. Makes me want to get more bricks and star MOCing again!!!
  7. No it can. I'm still trying to figure out how I can keep it spinning when I motorize it, so if any one of the technic folks out there has any suggestions, I'm all ears!!! :)
  8. Got the three of the and always loved them.. I find them so cute!!! I wanted to incorporate that classic feeling into this MOC. Glad you noticed it. :)
  9. Well!!! Someone spotted it!!! If you look closer, you'll find other classic sets incorporated into the design (sets 6062 and 6040). Many thanks to all for your kind comments!!! :)
  10. Thanks for your comment!!! Thought this one had gone unnoticed. The model has some small details on the upper inside, but they are just the classic stuff, a table, chair, computer and mug, so I didn't think it was worth picturing it. :)
  11. As I said before, I love integrating City and Castle. To me they work really well togetherand add a whole new range of possibilities, without being unreal. I always remember when I visited Nuremberg, how nice it the combination of old and new looked in the city... And that was almost 20 years ago!!!
  12. Many thanks!!! Actually the stickers are based on the old printed panels LEGO gave us in sets as the Black Falcon's Fortress and Guarded Inn. :)
  13. thats' a nice ideqa I hadn't thought about. Yet I think I wouldn't be able to implemente it. The blades of the wheel are open, andstud would clog it and prevent it from spinning.... but I must say you got me thinking how it could be done... :)
  14. Those are pieces that came in some Harry Potter sets (Bricklink entry) and which I got with a lot I won in an eBay auction. They are printed parts. :)
  15. Thanks for all your comments. That's what I love of using stickers. They can add just that little bit of extra detail which, at least me, wouldn't be able to achieve by other means.
  16. Got o make some stickers for the mugs!!! Thanks for your comments.
  17. Hi Pepermint!!! First of all I must say I love the whole idea behind it. Concerning the execution, I mostly agree with waht was posted by AwesomeStar. Yet, I would add another couple of things which are strongly related: proportions and real construction technics. I'm basically speaking of the width of the gate itself, related to its height. If you look carefully, most castle opening have a more rectangular proportion (with the longest side in vertical position). This is basically because, since they were built of stone, they needed to be able to materialize an arch which prevents the opening from falling down. When they wanted to make proportions similar to the one you are using, they would usualy buid with timber in a bridge-like manner or create a larger opening by adding more than one arch. I think that if you make this little adjustment and, while mocing, ask yourself "how is this constructed in reality?", you'll get better results. I would suggest either making the arch smaller, dividing it into smaller archs or to replace the stony upper part of the arch with a timbered guard house... Just my two cents. Keep bricking!!!! :)
  18. I would go with this approach. You can ALWAYS step back whne using vynil, something you can't do if you paint. Vynil is really thin, so you wont notice it too much. :)
  19. Many thanks for both your comments. Yep, as you've seen in all of my MOCs, I have no problem stickering them, as long as it serves my purpose to get a better model. :)
  20. Thanks for your comments!!! It's basically the sub in set 6599 with only a few pieces changed to black (didn't like how they looked in gray).
  21. Nope, no interiors. Basically the idea is to motorize the windmill, so the interior will be filled with the wiring and mechanism, In fact, I placed it on that small rocky hill in order to be able to hide tha battery box. Many thanks for your comment. Cheers!!!
  22. Yep.. took quite a lot of photos this weekend! Many thanks for your comment and for taking the time to see all my MOCS. :)
  23. It seems that everyone agrees on the red chimney not beign right. The thing is that I wanted to give it just a spark of colour so that it wouldn't be too dull. I chose red because it complements the sail on the fishing boat. Thanks to all for your comments...
  24. You can have a closer look at it in this post: MCC Bishop
  25. It did? It's a really easy build. You can use it if you want to. About the sticker for the scooter, you're completely right. Got to do one for it...
