  1. Thanks!!! Just bought the helicopter!!! :)
  2. I love that jet and that helicopter!!!! Any idea where I can get them and how much they cost????
  3. I'd go with Lacutis suggestion...
  4. Congratulations!!! Great model!!! I´ve always loved the Rick 4001v (used by LOTS of 70´s bass players, specially those playin simphonyc rock, like Mike Rutherford from Genesis or Geddy Lee from Rush). I would have prefered the classic black one, but anyway, your model is awesome!!! :)
  5. Hi!!! Just a quick question. I'm a graphic designer and architect, currently working and living in Argentina. Do you know if TLG would hire someone to work remotely (without relocating)??? Many thanks...
  6. Hi to all!!! First of all, I want to thank you all for your kind comments. Now, a few answers... The MOD was made by uniting two copies of the set. A few pieces were added (mainly doors and a couple of bricks to cover some gaps the original model has. As someone replied, the rotor pieces are ment to be revolving barriers, the sort of which can be found in most subway stations. Think that's all. Many thanks and cheers...
  7. Thanks to all for your kind comments!!! I would love to, but I really can't make this section bigger and don't have the money either (though making Maersk Ship MOC would be a nice challenge and I'll give it a thought ) Right now, I can only build sections of the complete layout since I simply don't have where to build it . The complete layout measures 8x4 metres. If you consider that I would need and additional metre on each side (to enable walk around and access to all parts) that leaves me with a needed space of 10x6 metres!!!! Unfortunatelly I don't have that kind of space Really loved it. Congratulations you've also got a huge layout there!!! Really liked how you hanged you "flying" planes. Yep, that's a mountain. The top of it will be flat (haven't built it yet)in order to receive my Winter Village sets. It will have a monorail station (which will be the only means to get there) and a tunnel going under the mountain. There is another small mountain (where the brown baseplates with the windmill are) which I have already built and which has a tunnel going through it. About the waterfalls, the river comming from the top of the layout starts with a MOC I've posted here before (Medieval Watermill) When I finish photographing the other areas of the layout, I'll create a separate topic where I'll post explanations and links to each area of it.
  8. Hi!!! Just wanted to share with you this MOD. This is the Main Train Station in my city layout. Comments and suggestions are welcomed. Hope you like it!!!
  9. Hi to all!!! Though I have my city all planned out, I can only build it "sections", because it's simply HUGE. The harbor area alone measures 3 x 1 metres. This time, I wanted to share with you the area of my city layout. It's made up of several oficial sets which have been MODed in order to work together + a couple of MOCs I've done during the last years. One of the MODs I think you'll fin interesting is the combination of sets 4645 and 7994 which, at least to me, work great together. So, done with the intro and into the images. Comments and suggestions are welcomed. Enjoy!!! Lets start with the city layout: General views: Sets 4645 + 7994 MOD A crane MOC: A fishing ship MOC: And to finish off, some details:
  10. That's a nice MOD. It would be great if you could take more detailed pictures of all the gearing. Great work!!!
  11. It's true. Historicalle he might be a knight of The Order of Malta (Order of Malta in Canada)), but I guess it was a "mistake" that won't be happening again... :(
  12. Great work!!!! What I like most is how stuffed this little shop is (just as real ones, full of accesories and parts). I love it. Congratulations!!!
  13. I usually use these (My link) in trans clear.
  14. That's REALLY nice from you!!! I actually think they will raise quite a nice ammount. Concerning the street building, to me, the most "auctionable" is the ice cream parlor. Good luck with it!!!!
  15. Great MOC. I really love al the detail you've put in it. Congrats!!!!
  16. I'd go for the marina... To me, is the most "flexible" set of the three and the one with most playability... Just my two cents. :)
  17. this is great news!!! I love the idea of Forest Rangers and Fire Fighters (this is, if the minifigs are different that the usual fireman minifig, if would be great if someone could share more details.) The ggod thing about this themes is that we will be getting (I guess) quite a lot of trees, which are much needed...
  18. Well, now it's starting to look good!!!! This design for the alien is much better and has turned it into a WANT for me. :)
  19. So... which figures are missing in this series???? My guess: some sports related fig (maybe a basketball or rugby player???) some circus related fig (maybe an acrobat) some oriental culture related fig (would love to see a rice farmer using the sensei hat) some costume using fig (we've already had King Kong and Godzilla... maybe a hamburger costume????) some music related fig (would great to have a male rock singer or a bass player) a deep sea diver (with that old sphere helmet) well.. at least that's waht I would love to see... :)
  20. Stickers were made in Illustrator and the printed onto adhesive white vynil...
  21. I must say these are amazing. So many hew molds!!!! Will have to get it... as always... :) Also, by the number of orient related new molds, my guess is that Pharaoh's quest will be moving somewhere near India... (hope we get back the elephants!!!) :)
  22. Simply AMAZING!!! Your castle is great and your landscaping better still!!!!
  23. Don't have any instructions. When I have a minute, I'll disasemble it and photograph the process for you... Thanks to all for your kind comments!!!
  24. I completely understand and agree with what you say. The thing is that this won't be the final landscaping. I was putting some order into my collection when I decided to take the pictures, and I couldn't find the box where all my palm trees and stuff of that sort are!!! :)
  25. Many thanks for all you comments!!! Some answers for those who asked: The hull: it is piece bfloat3c01 which cane in three sets (4021, 4020 and 4022) The cage: it is a design made by LEGO themselves. It appears in several Divers sets (6558, 6559 and 6560) My port: as soon as I get the new Harbor set, I'll be taking pictures of my complete por (that is, if I can fit it somewhere, since it must be 2 metres long by now!!!) Water: I don't actually use water in my layout, but I own several of the flotating hulls with their respective motors and use to let my nephews play with my boats in the pool. :) Cheers!!!
