I'm assuming all of you are just playing dumb, because you three all have the minecraft-esque avatars and the name changes. EDIT: What's up with Christmas being changed to Arbor Day when I try to post this? EDIT 2: You can no longer post the words Arpil Floos Day if you spell it correctly.

I play bassoon and piano, but it's more serious than a "hobby". Music is my escape, it's where I relax and let myself go. I can really express myself through music. Hopefully soon I'll be able to build MOCs as well as I play piano! My hobbies outside of Lego include: basic computer stuff, reading, and photography. However, my Lego photography skills aren't that great, so mostly outdoors photography for me! I'm working on my Lego picture-taking though.

You make armour? Perhaps you might like to try making custom minifig accessories!

Well, I noticed that I Scream Clone, SI-mocs, and CorneliusMurdock, and Skalldyr have name changes. EDIT: Added CorneliusMurdock EDIT 2: All the name changes look like part of a math equation. There's - symbols, + symbols, = symbols, and numbers.

Well, isn't the release date tomorrow? I'm expecting them to appear sometime tomorrow or next week, and I know my local Wal-Mart got a huge LEGO shipment yesterday, so I'm hopeful and really excited!

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion

Where do you live? Is it the UK? I'd be so excited if it was Canada though, because I haven't heard many reports of Series 7 in Canada yet. -
Single Pane LEGO Licensed Theme Funnies

Great ones Penguin! My favourites are the purple lipstick one and the Joker using lipstick. I'd hate if the superheroes ladies looked like Friends though! -
Friends is quite different from this. With this project, if kids haven't seen the movie (which they shouldn't have) then it's just good ol' zombie fun! But with Friends, it's not like that. They've introduced new minifigs that are skinny to the point of ugliness, but young girls will want to be skinny too, and they'll go on "diets" and stop eating. I don't want to change the topic from Yatkuu's success, so my mini-rant is over.

The universe of Batman: Man- Bat and Killer Moth
purpleparadox replied to Fianat's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Killer moth is alright, but the colouring is a little sloppy. Sloppiness isn't visible on Man-Bat, because he's already a wild character! I find Killer Moth to be okay, but I LOVE Man-Bat! -

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
purpleparadox replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow. Wolverine's even better than I thought! I might have to buy the X-Men set after all, but I'm not convinced. I have a pretty strict budget for Lego so I'm probably gonna be buying mostly DC sets. So far for Marvel I'll buy the Captain America set and the Shield jeep set with Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Loki. MAYBE the Spiderman set if it costs $35 or less. -
Those are some good ideas, especially the marching band uniform. I was thinking that a tuxedo was getting boring and it needed to be changed up a bit.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
purpleparadox replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, I started by using the "feel" method. I had no luck with this at all! I tried several times, but always got the wrong one. Then I tried just buying random packs and hoping to get the ones I wanted. Well that was just stupid! I spent too much money just buying random minifigs. So I tried using the dot codes that are in this thread a few pages back. SUCCESS! I've had a 100% success rate using the dot codes. I can't wait for the Series 7 codes! -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion

I heard a radio advertisement for a local store called Jansen's Paint & Decorating Hobbyland, and this store sells Lego. THEY'RE not getting Series 7 til June! I'm sure they'll be at local Wal-Marts before then, and they'd BETTER be, because I'm not waiting that long if other countries have them already. -
I was thinking about ways to incorporate music into Lego, and here's what I came up with. There could be a CMF Orchestra! Kinda like how there's more than one prehistoric minifig (Caveman, Cavewoman), multiple space patrol minifigs, two tennis players, etc. I had ideas for a couple different Orchestra minifigs. Occupation: Conductor Hair: Dastan's hair from PoP, in brown or black Face: Determined on one side, smiling on the other Torso: Tuxedo, bowtie Legs: Black Accessories: Baton, music stand, sheet music Occupation: Trombone Player Hair: Sleepyhead's hair (tousled) Face: Blowing air (playing trombone) on one side, smiling on other Torso: Tuxedo Legs: Black Accessories: Trombone, sheet music Occupation: Flautist (flute player) Hair: Brown ponytail Face: Female smiling on one side, female pursed lips (playing flute) on other Torso: Tuxedo Legs: Black Accessories: Flute, sheet music Occupation: Tuba Player Hair: Brown Mutt Williams hair Face: Blowing air (playing tuba) on one side, jolly face on other Torso: Tuxedo (shirt untucked?) Legs: Black Accessories: Tuba, sheet music Occupation: Clarinet Player Hair: Black Mutt Williams hair Face: Lips curled (playing clarinet) on one side, serious expression on other Torso: Tuxedo Legs: Black Accessories: Clarinet, sheet music If ANY of these became part of the CMF series, I'd be thrilled beyond words!

Lack of medieval figs in minifig series.
purpleparadox replied to mephistopheles's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The minstrel and the herald would both be must-haves for me. The lute would be awesome, and it'd be a cheap way of getting a trumpet. -
Wow, that's a huge project. It's really impressive though! I like the Marina cafe building. Do you have a price estimate/budget for this project? If you can afford it, I'd advise not budgeting and spending as much as is required to make this PERFECT, because so far it looks amazing.

Oh man! I didn't even NOTICE the date of this thread! I'm really sorry.
-
I answered yes to both questions. Great way to get minifigs (clones/stormtroopers as pawns). I wouldn't sleep with Jessica Alba, (therefore I wouldn't PAY to sleep with her) because I have a special girl right now. So, no, I find that question to be quite different.

Here's a tutorial on posting images.

That's a clever name for a LEGO duo. I think I can see some SNOT in this MOC, is there any examples of SNARL here?
-
Being a huge music geek, I had to see this, and I was pretty impressed. I like the crowd (with the security guard). My favourite parts are the DJ turntable and the speakers. (P.S. I know what SNOT is, but what's SNARL? Thanks.)
